Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Venantium or Eternals?

Some strangers you meet are unforgettable. They linger within the folds of your sleep, a small artifice burning in a crevice of your conscious that you weren't even aware you had. They breathe and thrive as a living organism feeding off your memory, using their teeth to pinch your conscious as an attempt to provoke their images into your head, begging to be thought about, coercing you to ponder their whereabouts or even miss their faces. Whether you can help it or not, you're helpless, miserable with their psychological whims as they play with emotions that aren't easily recognized in the mortal world. And Accalia arlandas had a tendency to be unforgettable. An addictive personality: a cocktail of spiced charm and subtle wickedness.

A lambent moon sat just above the horizon, threading a silver gossamer on the silhouettes of trees and producing a pale phosphorescence on the basins of water. She was in her wolf form, free from the humans piercing gazes. Her white locks would bounce of her femine curves and slender frame, walking until her legs begged to stop. It was an understatement to say Accalia was lost, because she didnt even know where she had begun, not able to picture it from the back of her mind; hopeless.

An eerie hum ghosted in the wake of the Mystical siren, ever there ever not. She was but a ghost, a transcendental being that flickered in and out of existence upon her own whimsical desires. Each calculated step descended upon the  terrain was an act of levitation, an impossibility. A sigh would press between her blood kissed lips, shifting back into human form, her gaze trailing towards a small lake. With a few more steps accalia would come into a sit, the moons rays casting a glow around her delicate figure, as she'd think in silence.

They say that letting the inner beast come to surface is a great way to get in touch with nature and in touch with oneself. It was shedding all the formalities, all the laws and regulations of man and allowing natural instincts to take over and roam free like the animals we really are. Because sometimes you needed to get away from all the rules, get out of the boundaries, out of the chains that shackled you and limited you. And for most werelings, letting the beast take control never felt so invigorating, so alive. Hughes Greyson had left the grand hotel of the Eternal Darkness pack, feeling like it was time for a refreshing run, not as a boy, but as a wolf. Running as a human never felt as natural as running on his strong four legs. He had been restless in his hotel room, wanting to go outside yet not knowing what to do once he got out. He could skate around, look at the galore of NYC, check out Time Square and be amazed at the lights and sights. But that wasn’t what he wanted to do—he wanted, craved something else, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. It was just this nagging feeling in the pit of his gut.

”I want out Huey, let me run for a bit. The feeling you’re having is the need to be free of everything for a moment,” the voice of Bard said in Huey’s head and with a smile Huey knew the wolf was right. They were both feeling restless and itching to move, and Bard probably more so than Huey due to being cooped up all the time. With that in mind Huey left his skateboard behind and left the hotel, stopping by the front desk to ask the workers about a good place to go run. They spoke of only one place, Finaqua, the long abandoned railroad tracks that wolves of both packs frequented to run. With the destination in mind, Huey took a cab to the neutral areas and was dropped off a walk’s way from Finaqua. Looking around he started walking towards the place, checking to make sure no one was around before he shifted and a large wolf stood in his place. Shaking his fur out, Bard then proceeded to quickly and silently lope towards the forgotten rails, his large paws softly thudding on the pavement until he felt dirt and grass beneath his pads.

The large wolf wiggled his digits, relishing in the feel of the ground beneath him and set off at a run, racing along the tracks and just letting his inner wolf run free. As he ran his nose sniffed the air, catching all kinds of unfamiliar scents and just enjoying the smell of nature, unmarred by the distasteful scents of people. Finally, no more stinking human beings and their nasty-ass smells; Bard could never get used to the scents of people, they were just so—he didn’t even have a word for it. He pressed on, running beneath the tunnels, thinking the area would be so much more appealing and aesthetically satisfying in the morning where he could see all the greenery. The large canine ran on until he hit a small lake and slowed his pace, coming to the edge of the pool of water to take a drink, his large tongue lapping up the cool liquid. Lifting his head after his drink, he ran his tongue across his maw cleaning off excess droplets and across the lake his eyes spotted a figure. She sat alone across the lake, a human but with one sniff he could smell wereling. Hmm should he approach? But if she came here to be alone, he should not bother her. He stood up tall, hoping to catch her attention and waved his tail slightly, asking if she wanted to be left alone or not.
