Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Summary:
Human Physical:
An 18 year old boy, standing at around 5’9ft tall and weighing approximately 130 lbs, a bit light for a boy of his size but due to insufficient amount of food he can’t help it. He has short raven black hair and light blue eyes. His eyes display an innocence; they are gentle and kind. Quite lanky and looks skinny, but his muscles stand out due to his skinniness—could definitely use some training to get him into better shape though. Other teens called him ‘Monkey’ for his skinniness, speed, and good climbing skills. Doesn’t appear particularly strong, but is quite speedy, agile, and nimble as a human. Though fast he is occasionally clumsy, his long legs tripping over himself when he’s scared or frightened. He’s got lanky limbs and is generally dressed very casually, with some slim-fitted jeans, classic converse on his feet, a t-shirt and wearing a zip-up jacket with a hood. His face is cute, handsome even, with that baby face and sometimes devilish grin. Huey is quite expressive with his facial features and his eyebrows do a lot of the talking at times. His voice is light, not too deep but deep enough to know he’s hit puberty and not a Justin Bieber. His hands have a habit of being restless when he’s nervous or feeling uneasy, usually tapping his fingers, and they never stop moving; he’s also guilty of restless leg syndrome. When Bard manifests himself through his human body, Huey becomes stronger, faster, and capable of many feats he couldn’t pull off as a human—though these usually end up with Huey having a sore body and aches in muscles he didn’t know he had the next day. Can be seen carrying around a skateboard sometimes as well as an old camera.

Wolf Physical:
His wolf form has an entity of its own. His name is Bardulf but usually is just referred to as Bard by Huey. He and the boy have a very close relationship, with Bard being very protective of the boy and coming out at times to defend and fight for him. He can manifest himself through Huey in human form and this is usually seen with a change in eye color, blue to golden amber, and a change of personality. Unlike Huey’s eyes, Bard’s golden orbs are hard, serious and can be quite menacing. When Huey shifts fully into Bard he stands at around 7ft tall but is still growing so he’s likely to get even bigger; he was actually a lot smaller when he first shifted at 14 and the size difference in a year is quite shocking. Bard is a Mexican wolf with pelt colors consisting of browns, blacks, greys, tans, and a white, light colored underbelly and legs. He has a black marking on each of his front legs and a black tipped bushy tail. His legs are thick and muscular, but his hind legs are more solidly packed giving him an edge in speed and astounding jumping abilities. He is a lot stronger in wolf form than in human form because as a wolf Bard is full control and is a better fighter. Many times during a full shift Bard has to stretch out his limbs due to growing pains and the constant adjustment to the development of his body as Huey matures.

Personality:
Huey and Bard are very different in personality. Huey is a good kid, playful, even a bit silly sometimes. Bard on the other paw is stern, serious and Huey doesn’t remember the last time the wolf laughed genuinely; usually the wolf only laughed to mock others. Huey had been aware that there was someone else with him since young, around the age of 5. At first he could only hear another voice talking to him, always encouraging him, telling him to fight back and never be the underdog. As an orphan with no one who truly cared for him, this voice was Huey’s first friend, someone the young boy relied on for strength and courage. He trusted this other entity and when he got older, around the age of 10, did he realize that this other entity was actually his wolf, Bardulf, but whom Huey fondly refers to as Bard and the only Bard allows to call him as such. Huey would occasionally let Bard manifest himself when the former was greatly frightened or too panicked to think straight in which case the wolf takes over to deal with the issue at hand. The two often converse about many topics, sharing a father-son or brotherly relationship. Bard cares for the young boy and Huey respects and cares for the wolf as well. The wolf often acts as Huey’s mentor teaching him ways of survival and how to become stronger or how to utilize his human assets to get him out of pinches. Bard doesn’t want Huey to have a dependence on him so he’s teaching the boy to think on his feet, use his speed and agility, use talking, to get out of trouble. He's also been teaching Huey to toughen up because the world isn't fair or a nice place so the boy's gotta learn to be confident. Huey’s a good kid, but he’s picked up some bad habits in order to survive on his own including pickpocketing though he usually chooses no-gooders to thieve from. The boy has a good heart and really just wants a home, a family, people to love and accept him. He’s tired of being treated like a freak, being called a weirdo and always being picked on and most of all he’s tired of not being understood. But he knows that's too good of a dream to come true. Other weres would probably rip him apart if he showed weakness. Bard is Huey’s best friend and the one who he will turn to first whenever he has a problem.

On the outside Huey doesn’t display his loneliness and covers it up with a jolly disposition, friendly and playful, not taking things too seriously and even throw in a bit of sassiness. But he’s got a good head on his shoulders, a very eager and curious person who likes nothing more than to sit down with a good book and read. Young and a bit naïve at heart, he may try to impress people but not know how to. A hard-worker, fast-learner, and always up for an adventure or something new; doesn’t like sitting still and gets bored when he has nothing to stimulate his mind. But certain triggers can scare him and revert to a frightened child in which Bard takes over. Bard is only kind to Huey and to others he’s either very terse or not really friendly at all. Bard as a bit of a foul mouth and has done things Huey wouldn’t approve of, but the boy has realized there are times when what Bard does is necessary, he just doesn't like it. Huey himself is a bit of a pacifist and would much rather learn about how to help others than hurt them. He has an extreme fascination with psychology, biology, and health-related subjects and likes to visit the public library to read.

There are times though when Huey's personality becomes a bit like Bard, where he is a more cynical, more serious, a bit more confident but this is usually when he's been pushed into a corner.

Huey is a lot more confident in wolf form than in human form.

Past:
The first thing Huey can remember from his past is waking up to the open sky, a tall building looming beside him, his voice crying out, him nestled among blankets with an unfamiliar scent. Then the next thing he knew the door to the building opened up and an elderly lady came out, looked down, and picked him up into her arms. She said calming words to try and get him to stop crying, and after a while he quieted and the woman took him inside the building.

Hughes Thaddeus Greyson was abandoned as a babe. He has no recollection of his parents and can only remember his childhood being spent in an orphanage in Chicago, IL. He actually didn’t know his name when he was first asked; he only knew because a voice told him. In the orphanage he was picked on quite often by the older children, but there was always something about him that freaked the other kids out. They could pick on him, get him to curl up into a ball from their assaults, but then Huey would get up a different person and threaten to maim the sorry bullies if they ever tried it again. Needless to say they didn’t, and even when they went to tattle on him to the orphanage owner she never believed them due to Huey’s sweet disposition.

He was adopted by his first family at the age of 10. They sent him to a private all-boys Catholic school and were quite strict with his academia. Huey excelled in school, performing exceptionally well for not having previous schooling besides the mediocre crap they gave him at the orphanage. His teachers praised him for his intelligence and Huey felt happy for the first time since meeting Bard. But of course the school boys picked on him and Bard would step in at times to scare them off but over time the wolf encouraged Huey to stand his own. Huey grew quick with his thinking and words and would outtalk the bullies, making them change their mind about picking on him on most days.

But then at age 14, he had his first changing. Bard had prepared him for it but going through it personally Huey wasn’t ready for it. He panicked and was discovered by his foster parents, who out of fear tried to shoot him but to no avail. When his foster father grabbed him by the scruff roughly, Huey changed back and since then has a dislike of people touching him anywhere but on his arms or being at his back. Of course the family tried to fix Huey because they thought he was possessed. They tried medication, and then went to exorcism. When those failed they dumped him back at the orphanage. He lived there until he was 17, learning things on his own, skateboarding and picking up some bad habits along the way. He actually went to multiple colleges and just sat in the classes, learning all he could before he was discovered and kicked out. Sometimes at night he would wander the streets in his wolf form, letting Bard come out and run around before returning to the orphanage the next morning. At age 18 he decided to leave the orphanage and took what little he owned and traveled around. As a parting gift the orphanage manager gave him a camera to help him make memories.

He traveled around and soon found himself taking a train to the state of New York. There he tried to apply as an independent and enroll himself into a college but realized that without funds he wouldn't be able to pay for it. After wandering around for a bit on his own, he heard there was a werewolf pack in New York City and eagerly went to see if they would take him in.
