The male had wondered into the lands, looking for a new place to lay his head and call his home. He was greeted by the Alphess herself, and there the two started an interesting relationship with one another. They shared their first kill together, and they even shared a bed for much more exciting things than a simple sleep. Since that time, she had promoted him to Guardian, allowing him to be given more responsibilities and a little more pride in his walk. The brute had found himself in the bar, discovering the Alphess had a younger sister, and meeting the unwanted company of an asshole loner. Travis had held his aggression back, making a small threat to the man with every intention of following it out if need be. But now the male had other things on his mind. In order for he and the Alphess to become friends, or more, he would need to actually dedicate more time for them. After finishing his morning duties, he found himself headed around the hotel. He searched high and low for areas of importance or intrigue. Upon discovering a game room, he smiled as he entered. It was a small and quaint. He noticed the bar almost immediately, and the pool table close to it. His eyes moved around the room, spotting over things he would actually enjoy playing. There was a skee ball game, a virtual racer simulator, air hockey, and much more. Anything a gamer would wish to see in this room, was here. Travis had not really been that much of a gamer, sure he would play them from time to time, but he did not focus his life around them like some. After taking a look and coming up with a great idea, he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. He walked to the front desk and reserved the space for he and a guest that night. Travis smiled to the attendant, and walked out the turning doors.
Making his way downtown, he walked through all the shops, looking for the perfect supplies for the night. He even walked into department stores, purchasing clothes to look his absolute best for the night. With everything in hand, he walked back to the hotel. Making his way to the front desk again, he asked for a piece of paper and a pen. Taking them from the lady, he wrote a note and handed it back to her. "I would like someone to go to Noctavia's bedroom at 1900 and deliver this message to her, but they must not tell her who it is from. Do I make myself clear?" The clerk smiled and nodded her head. Taking the things up to his room, he picked up the phone and called the chef. He asked for a special meal to be prepared and delivered to the Game Room at no later than 1850. Upon hanging up, Travis took the decorations down stairs. He grabbed the Game Room key from the front desk and made his way to the area. Luckily for him, the place was installed with mood lighting. He found a table and two chairs along the wall. As he moved the table to the center of the room, he tried to find the best place for it. Once finding such a place, he grabbed the chairs and placed them directly across from one another. He took out a table cloth and opened it across the table, allowing it to flow perfectly, just a foot from the ground. He took out a three tier candle holder and placed three long white candles inside. He grabbed his fresh flowers from the market and placed them beside it on the table. Walking to the bar, he filled a vase with water and added the flower mixture to help keep them fresh and alive. As he made his way back to the table, he placed them inside and placed the vase beside the candle holders, but not close enough to allow the flowers to catch flame once it was lit. A single red rose was left, placed over her place on the table.
When the time came closer to his designated meeting time, Travis moved from the Game Room, locking the door behind him. He made his way upstairs and changed his clothes. As he did so, he made sure everything he wore was perfect, that his hair was dashing as always, and his smile was outstanding. Adjusting his button up shirt, he fixed his tie around the neck, sizing it perfectly and keeping it centered on his chest. His shirt was tucked into his pants and his shoes were of Italian leather. He wanted this night to be perfect, one the Alphess would never forget. As he made his way back down to the Game Room, he unlocked it, entered, and closed it behind him. He placed the curtains over the windows so nobody could see inside. At precisely 1840 the food arrived just as he had asked. He took the silverware and placed it himself, remembering the finest in dining etiquette. He placed her napkin beside the silverware and laid the single rose over the top. The plates were stacked largest to smallest, from bottom to top. The entrees themselves were resting under the cover of a metallic top, keeping their temperature trapped inside.
Meanwhile, as Travis was setting up, his request was set into action. At 1859 the doorbell rang to Noctavia's suite. A gentleman dressed in a black tuxedo with a white bow tie, stood at her door. Upon opening it, he read the note aloud.
"Dearest Noctavia, it would please me greatly, if you would meet me in the Game Room within twenty minutes. I encourage you to look your best, and knock three times to the door. Sincerely, your secret admirer"
As the butler finished his words, he took the note and folded it back into his pocket. He smiled to the Alphess, "I assure you madam, he has put great effort into this night. I shall take my leave now, madam." Bowing to her respectfully, he turned and left her hallway. Travis stood in the room, waiting for her patiently, wondering when she would show, what she would be wearing and so forth. He set the lights to be dim and waited until he heard her three knocks to light the three candles.
