Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Venantium or Eternals?

1 Warrior's Blood (Open) on Tue Jun 18, 2013 10:43 am

The night sky was dark with only the full moon to brighten it. Central Park was covered in darkness with no humans in sight. That did not include, however, the large form moving through the trees and making its way along the path the humans usually walked. It was a gray wolf, his pelt so light that it was almost white, and his eyes were a light, icy blue that could catch anyone within its gaze. His ears and tail were laid back in a relaxed position and there was a calm air about him. The human part of this Wereling was resting in the back of the mind, and Adonis had no wish to be let out on this night of all nights. Tonight was the night his wife and newborn child had been slaughtered, and he'd rather be gone for that.

The wolf paused and his ears tilted up along wit his tail and hackles as he paused to smell the air. The wind wasn't in his favor though, sending his scent away from him. Snorting he shook his head and the human Adonis stirred in his mind before waves of power rolled off the great beast as he slowly made the change to human. Standing in the place of the wolf was a tall man, with thick muscles covered in scars. He wore a loose white shirt, like something you'd see a pirate wear. Worn, but comfortable jeans covered his legs and his feet were bare upon the dewy wet grass. His hair was pure black and shined like a raven's wing when light hit upon it, and on his handsome face rested two, icy blue eyes that were just as captivating in his wolf form. He was just as handsome as his name suggested.

Power, sex, and a dark air seemed to radiate from him as he glided towards a bridge that rested over a creek that cut through the park. Stopping in the middle and leaning over the edge he sighed and rested his arms against the edge as he let his head hang, his black hair getting in his eyes. After a few moments of silence he raised his head again to look to the sky and was surprised when he decided he missed the presence of stars. The sky didn't look the same. He could remember the stars that'd shined in the sky of Virginia. He'd spread out a blanket on the front lawn and he'd lay there for hours with his beloved Rebecca, while holding her and pointing out the constellations within the sky.

The hair on the back of his neck raised and he raised his head as though to scent the air. His blue eyes became more wolf then human just as a dark figure lunged over the bridge and sent the two flying over the edge. Sharp teeth snapped in his face, but Adonis had his arm pressed against its throat. Rolling over and throwing the wolf off, Adonis phased in mid roll before jumping to his paws, water dripping off of him from the creek. Shaking itself out the brown wolf snarled at him and lowered its head before it charged once more. Adonis tried to get into its mind, to trick it into thinking he'd disappeared, but Adonis found no human in it.

A rogue huh? A wicked smile spread across Adonis face. This would be fun, since Rogues were angrier, stronger, and faster then most Werelings alive. As thought to prove what Adonis was thinking the Rogue lunged at an almost unseeable speed. Lunging forward himself, he fiercely fought, tearing, dodging, and snarling as he gave himself halfway over to his wolf. The fight lasted for over an hour, staining the ground and water they passed through red with blood. Finally the Rogue managed to get Adonis to the ground and pinned him with his heavy weight. Adonis was half in and half out of the creek, his upper body in the water and his tail end on the bank. Snarling Adonis managed to get ahold of the Rogues leg and with a mighty snap of his jaws broke its leg. Letting out a howl of pain and rage the Rogue backed off, limping and shaking its head. Taking the opportunity Adonis lunged from out of the creek and his jaws closed around the Rogue's throat before tearing out its throat, a spray of blood covering the ground and his muzzle. An instinct rushed through him, and finding no harm he threw back his head and howled his victory to the moon.

( Sorry if it's so short, I'm kinda in a hurry. )

One by one the streetlights turned on. "Ten...eleven....twelve.." A powerful shifter sits on the roof of an everyday apartment building, watching and counting the lights flicker on down the street. "fifteen....sixteen..." She could go on forever, but time was precious no matter how old she was or could live to. Every moment. Day, hour, minute, second was to be made with memories. She could die tomorrow and still not be able to do the things she wanted to do the most. But the things she had done in the past, she would never regret. Eternal Darkness will and always be the light of her life as much as she refused to admit it. The streets were completely aglow, but that didn't stop the city from staying awake. There was little bystanders roaming about, the streets hooking towards Time Square however were so busy anybody could step one foot into the road and be run over. Though, she was far from the Square, happily sitting in the Projects like she usually did when she was left alone and free from work.

Noctavia released a slow sigh before slipping off the guard rail, buckling her legs to land safely onto the cement alley. She stopped and flipped off the hood of her black sweatshirt, exposing her face and two vibrant green eyes that pulsed sparks of lime as an unfamiliar scent crossed into her territories. A strong shifter, most certainly male. "Great." Instead of shifting, she started into a spint down the sidewalk and crossed the road towards the scent. Long waves of obsidian black bounced behind her, a pair of converse tapping against the cement path as she ran. Turning right, she took a dead halt as two cops stared up at her next to Central Park's gate entrance. Run! Her other half demanded. She was never one for listening to them, but in this case she did and turned back the other way down the large gates. Hey, what are you- Hey you, stop! The police behind her shouted. There was no use for them, with a speed of a wolf she was yards ahead of them and increasing in speed. As she turned, she grabbed the bars and flipped her self over into the park, dropping ten feet below to be silenced as the footsteps ran passed. Trees surrounded her, shadowing her body into complete darkness. Relieved, she sighed and turned around. Taking in the scent, Noctavia neared closer to the bridge where a strange stream of blood trailed up.

She followed the trail in which ran off the bridge entirely, crashing into the stream's water below. The Alphess could see two figures upon the darkness, one lying in the waters and the other towering over the corpse, reminding her of the time she had met Travis. The same position, same stance that stood over a kill with great power. "And who may you be?" Noctavia leaned over the bridge's rail, crossing her tattooed arms for support. "I am Alphess Noctavia, and it seems you are in my packlands. What do you seek, brute?"

Adonis phased back into his human form with his head still raised. His eyes were closed and his mouth was slightly open as he took deep breaths, his canines still sharp and out. His black hair was wild and so was his eyes when he opened them. His shirt was torn and nothing but rags as well as the legs of his pants. Blood, sweat, and water dripped off of him and his bare chest rose and fell as he took each breath. He was about to make a relieved laugh when a scent swirled down into his nose and he looked up just as the Alphess made her appearance. Taking a few steps back from his kill as it changed back into its human form. Bowing elegantly from the waist Adonis said in a low, seductive, and dark tone that matched his personality and body, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, my Alphess. Your lovely Elite Collette accepted me into the pack before her departure. Forgive me for not seeking you out sooner, but I was still getting used to my human body, for things in my past had almost forced me into a Rogue myself." Gracefully moving out of the bow Adonis's eyes settled on the poor sucker before turning his blues onto Noctavia.

"But now that I have your audience." He crouched low and jumped, gracefully grabbing onto the railing and throwing himself over, looking unruffled as he sat on the edge not far from the Alphess. "I'm Adonis Braveheart." His smile spread as he said the last name, expecting her to be surprised. No one these days knew that Gabriel had a brother, and that wasn't the only secret that Adonis was hiding. "But you see, I want nothing to do with my brother, and I thought perhaps you were my best way of destroying him, especially if I shared some secrets with you." Giving a flick of his wrist a black rose appeared in his hand, but it wasn't real. It was a mind trick, a trick he'd learned in his long years. It was something not even Gabriel knew. The rose was nothing but a mind trick, using the same ability for Werelings to be able to mind speak. Adonis's face sobered as the rose seemed to shimmer and disappear like water rippling away the image. "I can teach you things you never knew existed, and I can tell you how to destroy my brother."

(*idea hatches*)

"Sad to say my Elite is no longer in working. But I guess if you can't stand the heat, leave. I'm pleased to hear she's been recruiting for more members, I'm always welcomed to take someone's skills into consideration of the possibility they are fit for my pack. I look for the most reliable and stronest shifters out there, hopefully you will be one of them if you've managed to impress my what-once-was Elite female. Collette was a great Elite, I won't deny that, but it would have been greater for her to of stayed a while longer." Noctacia scooted over for the figure to lift himself atop the bridge, and stepped back to eye him closer. Her gaze narrowed as they traced the angle of his jawline and smile, feeling a spark of familiarity at the back of her head ignite and a small emotion of anger. She raked her brain for more information, but came up short which made her greatly irritated. In his introduction, she found the name Adonis very amusing, but she had to admit he was a little charming, only not her taste. It was the last names, our of all last names that caused her anger to rise to another degree.

Her hand reached for his neck and pinned him up against the bridge's stone wall. She chuckled, breathing down his neck, eyes bright green. "I should have known you were one of them. In fact, you look much like Gabriel himself. How come you share the same hatred for him as me? And why come here knowing how much I would love to kill each and every one of them?" A move of his wrist caused her eyes to turn away, keeping her fingers tightly around his neck still. Black as her hair lies a rose in his hand. Noctavia had not seen it til now and wondered how he had been able to hide it and kill a Rogue all at the same time. Her eyes widened as it disappeared into thin air and narrowed towards Adonis. She didn't believe in magic tricks and wondered what he was trying to provoke her at that moment. "What game are you playing, Braveheart? Hasn't your brother ever told you that being a magician when you grow up isn't going to get you anywhere in life. Of course not,' Her grip released, placing both behind her back as she walked towards the other side of the bridge in order to separate herself from the brute as far as possible but still in ear-shot. "I don't see what you can do with a flick of your wrist and make a rose appear, kid. Not one thing, so explain it to me because I'm never going to pick up what you're putting down with out an explanation."

Adonis's top lip curled up to reveal sharp canines as she grabbed his throat, but since it was the response he'd expected he remained calm, looking the Alphess in the eye as she spoke. His wolf, Craven, stirred and snarled in his mind at the name of his brother. The great, icy beast bristled and snarled at Noctavia, but Adonis held him back and shoved him further into his mind. When she released his throat he crossed his arms over his chest as she walked to the other side. "I must ask that you don't compare me to my lousy excuse of a brother." He turned to look out at the park and took a deep breath to calm his anger which sparked in his eyes, turning them into icy glaciers. He scowled when she asked her questions, but decided he might as well tell her. She didn't seem the type to spread gossip. "He's the cause of my mate's and newborn child's death. We've also had our differences in our past."

Slowly he moved to her side of the bridge but kept some space between them, his face for once calm and unreadable. "As for these, 'magic tricks' they're nothing of the short." His face broke its calm composure and he leaned forward slightly, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "You know how you can mind speak with those within your pack? I was swimming alone in a lake one day to bathe when I had the thought, 'If you can send words into another's mind, why not images? For years I worked on it, testing it out on Werelings I'd get to know. I've also found that it's a great tool when in battle. You can make them think they're surrounded, or you can make them think there's an obstacle in their way." Adonis's mind stirred and his wolf side brushed against the Alphess's mind, requesting permission to enter her mind and showing her the things he'd done.

(sorry short. Running out of ideas.)

( Smooth. Haha, hang on, I think I got this. ;P And to remove the blue font from the white writing, press the A with a stop sign next to it. -points to the little A with a red dot.- That erases all the crap you put into that text.)

She turned around and sat up on the bridge's countertop, resting her hands at her sides to grip the stone wall for little support. "So it seems. I had always known Gabriel to secretly have a dark side sometime in his past. Sure wish he showed it more often, what a joke. If only his pack knew all of what he's done. And how did all these deaths occur? Are you saying he intentionally killed them?" Noctavia peered up at him, shaking her head before waving the question off. "Forget it, you don't have to answer that. Bringing up the past creates problems, emotions that were left unsaid." The Alphess leaned onto her right, reaching into the back of her pocket to reveal a new cigarette from the package. Igniting it with the flick of her thumb to the lighter, she placed it at the tip of her mouth and inhaled slowly, taking in the drug and relaxing her patience then and there. She played with the lighter's cap, flipping it back and forth as Adonis spoke.

Sarcastically, she opened her mind and snuck her way into his, revealing the sound of her wolf of which sounded more likely a snake overall. "Nope, I can't mind speak into shifter's heads at all. Your point?" Noctavia huffed a thick cloud of smoke into the city air, watching it float and soon spread out to nothing. Tipping the cig's ashes to the side, she rested it back into her mouth, listening to Adonis. Gabriel was one of the last people she would of expected to have a little sibling, thankfully for her she didn't have any unless the Dark pack decided to have another demon like herself. It wouldn't be the first time they've made a mistake. "So...what you're saying is that werelings. That's us. Can actually toy with other people's minds into thinking they are going to die. Crazy as it sounds, I kinda believe you. I mean, why not? Like you said, if shifters can speak into the minds of others, then the gift of images should count as well." Noctavia hesitantly thought about it and as the idea grew a large and wicked smile made her cheeks pinch back into a toothy, sharp grin. She slipped down from her spot and came up close to Adonis, challenging him to step closer. "Teach me. Right here...,' She looked up, mixing emerald with glacier ice blue. "right now.."

(Thx. ^^)

Adonis kept his voice cold and emotionless when Noctavia asked if Gabriel had killed them. He went ahead and explained even though she's said to forget it. Adonis put a hard lock around his emotions. "I didn't hang around him when we first came to America. We'd fought before we came here. He was the first Wereling to set paw on this land, and I the second. He remained wolf for a while, and I didn't get to see him at all, for when my brother doesn't want to be found, there's no tracking him." He shook his head. He'd learned this long ago, which is why when he wanted to meet he had to lure him to where Adonis wanted to meet his brother. "My brother became more his wolf, Pirate, and he revealed in the darkness for years. When more humans arrived he for some reason he hasn't told me, started phasing into a human again and gained control of himself. He was evil though, I'm sorry to say more so then you. He was an Alpha of Alphas, the best, but you must understand there were few of us then, but he's still a force to be reckoned with, or at least he is when he gives over to his wolf fully like he had then." Adonis stopped, remembering the darkness he could see swirling in his brother's eyes. He then remembered his mind was still linked to Noctavia's to where she could see what he saw, but he didn't care. Maybe visuals were better then words. "To make a very long, very depressing story short, he changed because of a female and she died. I found myself a mate, had a child, and when he came to visit trouble followed him and they were killed when we went out for a drink at a tavern. He still struggles with his dark side today, and if he did give into it, you and your pack would be in trouble." There was no bragging in Adonis's voice, just plain, hard fact. He gave a shake of his head and wrinkled his nose as the Alphess took out a cigarette.

"If you were human I'd warn you that those are nothing but cancer sticks, but since you're not, and I wouldn't care anyway, I guess it don't matter." He made an amused sound as Noctavia wrapped her mind to his and he heard the hissing sounds of her wolves. Craven bristled and snapped, lunging forward but Adonis held him back, causing him to howl out in rage. His eyebrows raised as she stepped forward, telling him to teach her. A roguish smile touched his lips and he took the step to bring them closer, almost touching bodies, but not quite. Lowering his head to be face to face with her he mentally asked, "And what would I get in return?"

The images of all Gabriel could do warped into her mind and the voices at the back of her head watched with high interest. She wasn't afraid of all he could do to her because the Alphess knew she was just as capable of killing him in return. Noctavia thought back to the night of which he had followed her to the tattoo shop, thinking to the moment of when he lunged and locked his teeth into her shoulderblade. To this day it still aches to roll back her shoulders, putting aside the sound it makes when doing so. "I assure you my pack will be safe. I promised my life and devotion to providing a house of strong, powerful warriors of which have earned my respect and trust. Well..most of them anyway. Those that treat me with arrogance do not deserve the likes of my respect, I'm sure you can understand that much. Pirate is quite the character I should say...," She pinched the cigarette from her mouth, releasing the smoke once against and rubbing the back of her neck. "He's fast, I'll give him that."

Her expression turned to a small smile at how similar he looked to his brother, and the face he made just like Gabriel when she had a smoke just before their... argument. "Man, you look so much like him." She whispered, knowing he could still hear her. "You even sound like him. Crazy, I tell ya. Good thing I don't have any siblings." Chuckling, she stared up at him, not at all submissive at how tall he was compared to her. Now that he had given her full-blown access to his mind, she decided to show him her past. All the deaths and tragedies she took from innocent beings as well as the day she was exiled and the five individuals she killed on the night she first shifted. The wolf behind her chest and caged inside her mind stood still, examining his other side in return. They did not growl or snarl or even bare their razor-like canines at it. His wolf made them silent, which surprised her after never experiencing them this way before. Noctavia cocked a half smile, rocking on the balls of her feet with her hands placed behind her back. She dropped the cigarette in though, crushing it with the palm of her sneaker. "What will it take to persuade you, Braveheart? I do one thing to gift in return, and that is to join my pack, but what do you wish?"

Adonis nodded. "That's good, and you bet Pirate's fast." Adonis reached up to rub an old wound that Pirate had inflicted during one of his and Gabriel's arguments. Her comments about how he sounded and looked like him made him bristle, his icy eyes turning as cold as an arctic wind. Through gritted teeth he said, "One condition to my training you in the mind tricks, please, please don't compare me to that oaf." Giving a shake of his head he pinched the bridge of his nose before bowing his head to show that he meant no disrespect. "I mean no disrespect, my Alphess. Please forgive me, but you hadn't been second best to that bastard all your life."

Closing his eyes to better focus on the past she was showing him he nodded, a wicked smile spreading on his lips. "You're just the help I'm looking for then." His voice was its usual soft seductiveness, but there was some pride in there. Craven's growling slowly stopped, but remained in a crouch position. His lips were still curled and his hackles were too, but he didn't let up on his position. A few seconds later though he rose from his crouch, but his hackles remained up. Moving slowly forward he went to touch noses with one of the wolves, his lips curling back slightly in warning, but seeing as this was an Alphess he lowered his head and licked her muzzle in the greeting of a lower ranked wolf. His hackles remained up, but Adonis could relax.

Tilting his head back Adonis stared up at the starless sky and sighed as he came to his decision. "A rank in your pack where I can train others the mind trick. They'll have to keep it secret so that none can teach it to the Bravehearts." He spoke the name like he wasn't of the bloodline, and in his mind, he wasn't.

"Denique a me, fine by me. I don't enjoy speaking of the man anymore than you do. Its not disrespect, Adonis. I now know one of the things that infuriates you, I hope to know more later on too. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing how angry you can really get if I push the correct buttons." Her hand smoothed over the scar with fascination. She had always been attracted to them, wounds, scars, broken bones, and by far most, tattoos. The display of her prizes curled around her forearms, along with a personal one upon her lover stomach that Daiken had made for her. It had been some time since they have met, but she wasn't worried. Although if she could choose, he would be already in her pack as a warrior under her rule. Looking at the scar now, it reminded her of the mark upon her shoulder-blade that Gabriel, or Pirate she should say left behind in one of their most recent encounters.

Pulling away, she rolled up her sleeves and tucked her hands in her back pockets. "If the rank of being my Elite male is what you ask, so be it. But I assure you, Adonis, it is not set in stone just yet until you teach me this...technique. I'm sure you've heard of me before, for I am a talented liar. You know secrets as well as I do, and I've kept my word in letting it be known as just a secret." As she finished, she felt the crawling wolf of his stalk towards her three, being surrounded by the what she assumed other the other two who were left silent as they watch his wolf submit before the center one. She held no control of the three in their actions and instead left a smirk on her face, staring into his icy pools in thought. To her surprise, it bowed before him but they all stayed on alert just because he held the name of the enemy. "Never seen that before." Wolfie backed up, releasing Noctavia to bring back into conversation. "Where would you want to begin? We can begin at the hotel, but I prefer staying in a more peaceful environment to think."

Adonis gave her a wicked smile and a wink. "Trust me, there are many ways to tick me off. One doesn't usually want to be in the way of me and Craven, but I suspect you could hold your own." His voice held slight amusement as he scratched at the stubble on his chin. When she went to touch the scar on his shoulder his instinct told him to step back, but he held still. He'd been without human contact for so long that it felt strange, foreign, and threatening to his wolf side, Craven. He told himself to get used to it and turned his attention to Craven as he remained as still as ice, watching the three wolves and tilting his head slightly as the one bowed. Backing away without turning his back on them he retreated into his human's mind and laid down, his head and ears still raised but all he did was stay still and checked them out with an uncertain air.

He blinked and a look of surprise flickered across his features. "I would not ask for such a high rank such as that, but if that is what you wish, then so be it. Even if you do end of betraying me by lying I'll still do what I can to help you and your pack destroy the Bravehearts." When the Alphess asked where they should begin their training Adonis spread out his arms and looked around him. "This place is perfect." He backed away from her and turned to face the other side of the bridge. With his mind still in Noctavia's he urged her to face the same direction as he as he stared at the edge of the bridge. In his mind he imagined the wolf perfectly, last to every last detail of his fur and scars. He put the image of a shadowy figure walking towards them and even added a growl for effect. Two blazing gold eyes appeared and stopping not far from the two stood Pirate, his ears laid flat on his skull. "It's best if you use a figure you've seen before. Some wolves, such as myself, can find subtle differences if your mind trick is used for too long. Now, imagine your wolf in your mind. Take every last detail, her fur, her eyes, her incisors, everything and feel every muscle rippling through your body. Now force it into my mind, make me see her attack." His mind was a icy, cold wind flowing through her mind, his face taking on a calm and attentiveness that had usually appeared on his face as he'd trained the Warriors of the original Braveheart Pack in his home in Greece.

She shrugged a little at his surprise. "You're a lot older than I, obviously. And with age comes strength. If you're anything like Pirate in your wolf stage, or in half stage then I expect you to be a more superior fighter like myself and your brother. Giving you the rank of an Elite would seem fit, is it not? And with Collette no longer with us and the Betas are off being busy with some errands, I have no one to help aiding me with border patrols as well as training some of the arrogant delinquents. Its a deal, no 'givsies backsies' or whatever those kids do these days." Taking a step back from Adonis, she examined the bridge and took a quick search of their surroundings just to be sure there were no others in site. Noctavia took in the scents but registered nothing, causing her to relax herself before turning to him again. "Great. Let's begin."

She followed him, facing the direction of the opposite side of the bridge. Her brow arched watching him focus and crossed her arms to patiently wait. Before she could interrupt, a figure moved in front of then and she phased instantly, standing at almost a ten foot tall pure black wolf. She raised her hackles and growled to ward it off, only to see it wasn't anyone at all but a mind trick. Noctavia looked to Adonis at his words and changed back into her human-shell. "Sorry about that, I didn't know you were starting with that." She listened to his instructions, to imagine her wolf's details, but she didn't want to think of her wolf just yet. The female shifter closed her eyes slowly, taking a long and slow breathe as she let her thoughts warp around her mind. Her reflection stared back at her, only it wasn't her at the same time, but it was the voices, in her human body. Waves of the same raven black hair cascaded down her back and a smirk was left on her face with the matching pair of hypnotizing emerald eyes. Noctavia opened her eyes, controlling the figure to move in front of the wolf that looked the same as Gabriel's. Not hers, but the other Noctavia's hand reached out for the wolf's nose. This was not her, the Alphess wasn't controlling the figure, well, not entirely. Her other half was, but was that even possible? She shook her mind and like that, the other body disappeared in front of the wolf. "Woah.." Her mouth was left agape, searching for words to speak back to Adonis, but only came up with, "That..was the sweetest thing I've ever done in the 21st century."

Adonis smiled and bowed his head. "I'll live up to my rank, I give you my word." He turned his attention back onto her as Pirate slowly moved towards them. Adonis lost his focus when she phased though and the fake Pirate paused as though someone had hit the pause button during a movie. The edges began to blur but Adonis immediately went to work holding it together, the wolf before them giving a shake of his head as Adonis willed him to do it.

Adonis watched as Noctavia made herself. Adonis shrugged and leaned back against the bridge's wall, crossing his arms over his broad chest. He made a disgruntled sound as he found out for the first time to that his shirt was ruined, so with the sound of tearing fabric he tore it off, muttering something about that being the third time this week. Adonis had managed to get into a lot of fights with strays and loners the past few days. He wished he'd meet his brother, but the only time he had was when he'd been a loner and they'd been together at Rapture. Adonis hadn't had the opportunity to strike with so many humans around and he'd needed to head out with Elite Collette so he could get accepted into the Eternal Darkness Pack. The next time he met Gabriel the Alpha wouldn't be so lucky. Now if only he could find a way to lure him into a dark alley or something...

Turning his attention back onto Noctavia he smiled and nodded. "Bravo!" He snapped his fingers and the image of a light colored wolf came into view. Gray ran down his back while his sides were white. Two bright icy eyes rested on its handsome face as the wolf lunged and snapped the neck of the fake Pirate. Craven howled in delight within Adonis's mind and he silently told his wolf he'd get his chance someday.

( D:< I know I may be a leader, but that doesn't mean you are able to leave me in charge on coming up with a damn idea. Ugh. )

Noctavia watched the second wolf appear and attack the fake Pirate. Mixes of light grey and whites swirled in the brute's thick pelt and he held the same icy eyes as Adonis. "Is that your wolf? He's beautiful." She laughed at the irony in that sentence, for it was his name that was named after none other than the god of beauty and pure desire. As it disappeared, she looked to Adonis, now noticing he had ripped off his shirt to reveal his tan and hard frame. Like them, most shifters were blessed with fit forms to adapt with their abilities and caused with all the running the race uses in their other skins. Its crucial for shifters like them to stay in shape. If they didn't, it could cause not only problems, but difficulties to surviving. She shook her attention back to reality, facing to meet emerald with glacier blue. "I want to do it again, but before we do, can I ask you something? You don't have to answer, though it would be helpful to know for future reference."

The Alphess took a step closer slowly, giving him an amused and curious smile. "I know it sounds strange, but is it possible that our other side can control what we imagine? What I did just now with the copy was not me, well not completely I should say. Most of it was done by my other half and it leaves me questioning to know if it is even possible. Of course, our wolf side will always naturally be a different side of us, knowing what he feel and think and do all at once, but I'm being serious here. I put all of my control over that imagine and somehow the other side was able to control it instead." Noctavia neared to his side to lean over the bridge's side. Pulling up her sleeves, she rested them to support her weight on the stone wall of the bridge, peering down at the stream that went under them. "And another thing..." She lifted herself up to sit on the bridge's side, facing him without the smile from before. Noctavia knew asking this would bring him back to his hatred, but she needed to know what it was like. "What's it like having a sibling? I've never had one, and it would be nice to know what is is like to have another similar in age to talk to about things you can't with another because you know they won't understand. Most shifters these days have a younger or older sibling it seems..."

(Hehe. ^^)

Adonis made an amused sound. "Aye, he is." He shrugged, rolling his shoulders to get rid of the stiffness he felt there. Being in human form still felt odd to him, but he was slowly going back to normal. His icy eyes turned on her as she stepped closer. He tilted his head just slightly, a wolf like gesture, as she asked her question. "Yes, they can. They're as much a part of us, as we ourselves are. I'm afraid the Bittens in your pack might be a bit disadvantaged when it comes to these Mind Tricks. Their wolf sides will want to take part, and the mind is vulnerable during this time." He frowned and stared down at the small creek. "I'm working on a way to block out others to keep them from Mind Tricking, but I've yet to find another that knows the secret I do." His eyes slid to her. "Or, at least till now."

At her next question his top lip curled up slightly to reveal sharp incisors, but he managed to hold back a growl. The fake Craven before them wavered and disappeared like smoke as Adonis lost his concentration. Taking a deep breath to settle his anger he reached up to fiddle with the necklace around his throat with two rings on it, one thicker and gold, the other thinner made of gold and a beautiful emerald. "Before things became too heated between I and my brother it wasn't too bad. I had someone, that despite my snapping at him, had my back when the bigger wolves would try and pick on me. It was also nice to have someone to team up with during the Olympics, or should I say the real Olympics before the Olympics today. It can be quite annoying though. Somehow they seem to be able to get on your nerves without even trying."

( *thumps head* )

"Wow, you guys are really old." She laughed, nudging his side with her elbow teasingly. "Well at least you had a brother for a while, I mean that's something, I guess. I've always wanted an older brother, someone to look up to and have to protect me when creeps would try and touch what they can't have. Sometimes I wonder if my life would be a lot easier having one." Noctavia rolled back her shoulders and shrugged as she knew it were never going to happen. And if she did, she would be the one to then rule over the family pack like they had expected her too. There was no way of erasing her past now that she had a tattoo to remind her constantly of it thanks to her younger years of immaturity. Her arm flipped over in her lap, using her other hand to trace around the Dark pack symbol of which was a wolf heart with a large silver dagger piecing through its center. Her arms and a portion of her frame were covered in the ink, but only three were the most favored and represented something to her. Daiken's tattoo on her right hip still was tender from the day she received it, however that's how it always was when someone got a new tattoo. Soon, it would wear off, she was just to impatient to wait. "I'm glad to know I'm not completely insane with the whole other side control over images things. For a moment there I really thought ole wolfie could find an entire advantage to controlling my body." She smiled at the thought, remembering again of how vivid the image appeared. The same reflection of her body she had seen since she was little grow to be a strong and powerful Alphess of which she was expected of.

Without asking, Noctavia looked at the other end of the bridge, letting her other side focus her mind to create the so-called-three wolves that whispered in every command possible. It blurred, but then straightened to stand three large wolves, however, they didn't look like the wolves shifters shifted into. This was different. Instead of an animal's body, it was almost a shadow-like figure but each held a same set of colored eyes except the one in front. The center wolf had orange eyes, much like Daiken's but held a fiery glow. Noctavia made them growled in unison, stepping forwards slowly. For effect, she imagined saliva dripping from their maws, spilling into the coblestone bridge below. A small smirk crossed her face as she made them kneel before them. "I feel I owe you one, Adonis. This is pretty cool. You try."

Adonis stuffed his hands in his pockets as he looked away from the Alphess and out at the beautiful night. He replied to his new Alphess, his Greek accent more distinct this time as he spoke. "Having a brother is a pain in the ass. It has its perks as I've already explained, but the pain of it all isn't worth it." A gentle wind blew and ruffled his unruly black hair as the muscles in his jaw tightened in agitation. His icy blue eyes were as hard as chips of ice and just as unreadable upon his darkly handsome and foreign face. When she began to speak he turned his eyes back upon her, meeting her green with his blue as she spoke of thinking she was the only one with the wolf taking control. "It happens. Don't worry, if you survive as long as I have, you'll have more and more run ins with your own wolf. Take Gabriel for example. His was rebelling by the time the Civil War was upon the Americas. It's easier when you're younger, but the fact you've three wolves... Well makes you a unique case." He shrugged, wanting to ask her why that was, but he knew it was none of his business. Besides, Adonis didn't need to know. All he needed was somewhere his wolf could relax and a place where he had a better chance of destroying his brother. He knew his obsession of killing him might be a tad bit unhealthy, but he didn't give a damn. Everything he'd ever cared about had been taken, and a wolf with nothing to lose was a very, very dangerous thing.

His eyes darted up as she created her three wolves. The shadow creatures were pretty eerie and he was very grateful that his Alphess only changed into her black wolf form instead. The shiny orange eyes caught his attention. It'd always been his favorite color, like ice attracted to the heat of the flame. Looking at her as she said for him to take his turn a smile tugged the corners of his mouth, but he didn't allow it to completely form. Expanding his mind and using every ounce of imagination he had the landscape around them changed and suddenly they weren't standing in New York, but standing on a cliff overlooking a magnificent city as the blood red sun sat behind it. People and horses walked through the streets and the air was warm and humid. Slowly the image faded and Adonis said, "That was a cliff me and my brother went to every evening to watch the sun set behind the city of Athens. It was also the place where we last fought and said out goodbyes. Our fight destroyed many." The sound of dying screams echoed through their minds before Adonis abruptly withdrew from Noctavia's mind. Bowing low at the waist Adonis said crisply, "Is there anything else my Alphess desires? We could continue our lesson or you could enlighten me by showing me around?"

(( I stayed up all night. *sips coffee* Good morning, pretty boy by the way. (; ))

"You could say that again. They sure are unique..." As much as she wished to deny the fact she seemed to be the only one with that state, it left her with still unanswered questions since their first encounter. They started to appear earlier in her life, ten years old at the least if she remembered correctly and grew up with her ever since then. It was because of them of the way Noctavia acted towards certain individuals and cared little of the world and rumors that were spread about her throughout the years. To the Alphess, nothing really cared, but her pack and herself. It was almost sad to know that was how she truly felt, especially after knowing her parents were pathetic to take their pack's side out of fear over family. She held little respect for them of what they did. When she left, to them she was labeled nothing, but an exile or demon's spawn. Not even her ancestors shared the same case as her with more than just one wolf, the outcome of it happening was what she presumed a one and one billion chance of occurring. Noctavia sighed heavily, turning her gaze to Adonis. "I wish I had of known this sooner. By now I would have mastered the skill much like yourself. You wouldn't happen to mine in maybe teaching some of my higher ranks would you? Beta Ryker has been of absent lately, but I believe there are some Warriors always willing to have time on their hands. I'd show them myself, but you've learn the ropes earlier."

Noctavia looked up to see the shadowy three wolves be soon surrounded by a different scene. A cliff instead of Central Park to see a large city below and instead of it being dark, the run was just setting across the horizon. Before she could begin to think it was real, it vanished and she simply turning her face to meet at Adonis's words. She listened carefully, trying to imagine what it would be like to take so many deaths between two powerful beings. A small sinister smile crossed her face as the image of blood seeping from one's throat and hundreds of more corpses covered in their own velvet liquid. All of them lying in scattered areas with her standing at its center in pure satisfaction. Tucking a loose strand of black waves behind her pale, small ear, the Alphess slid off the wall and hooked out her arm. "It'd be a pleasure on being your guide this evening. We'll deal with training later, there is still work for me to be done and border patrols left. And if you don't mind, I'd like to get some shut eye before the night turns to morn. I'll show you to your room and split ways once we're finished. Agreed?"

Adonis bowed his head, his black hair hiding his face as a sinister smile spread upon rose colored lips. His voice held his Greek accent as he answered his Alphess. "I'd be more then pleased to teach any within your pack, so long as they're trust worthy enough not to let this spill into the enemies' hands. It's difficult to train one in these ways, I warn you, for sometimes reality and illusion often mix to where ones poor heart could easily be overwhelmed. Especially if they're in my mind." He ended his sentence on a cheerful note and looked at the Alphess's offered arm. Years of living in the Old Times, as Adonis liked to call them, slithered through his mind and he slid his arm absently into hers. Automatically he stiffened, not used to the human contact, but Craven snapped at him to get used to it.

Sighing, Adonis submitted to his fate, for once glad to do so. The night felt right and working with this creature beside him would help him get what he wanted, what he needed. Without another word he followed Noctavia back to his new home, and destiny.

(Sorry about shortness. Not sure what else to write."
