Summary:
The history of the Luthern family dated back centuries originating in Southern Africa. The pure blood line still remaining strong and still working successfully to this day. That was until Artemis's youngest daughter Sanaa came of age a few years back. Her shifting was a celebration for the whole family, Artemis, his wife and his three sons. They had no idea that she would grow tired of her duties and fight back.
Sanaa was a brilliant woman, smart and skilled in the medicine she spent her whole life practicing. Even acquiring a PHD[if allowed] while going to college over in Africa, she doubted it would be valid in America. Medicine was the only thing she enjoyed and because of that her home life was suffering. Not wanting to accept her future in the pack and be married to the male of her father's choice, Sanaa left. She boarded the first plane to America and since has managed to settle down and find a cheap apartment. Cutting all ties with her family, she was convinced she could make it on her own.
Even though his daughter had followed her own path, Artemis still ordered his second oldest son Elay to bring her home.[Hoping to bring Elay into the forum next] Determined to not let down his father Elay has continued to track Sanaa and hope to one day bring her home.
Now that she has grown older all Sanaa has been thinking about is finding a pack that will accept her. Enjoying the small things in life like taking a stroll at midnight or reading her favorite herbal medicine book. But the days have become quite lonely and company has come few and far between. She longs to be with others and the animal within her longs to be back in a pack.
Sanaa hopes that Venantium will let her join and allow her to practice her medicine and keep the pack moving in one strong unit. Hopefully the rest of her years can be lived out doing more for others.
Example Post:
Quietly Sanaa walked down the alley way, her black heels clicked off the concrete as she moved. It wasn't the look of the beat down dead end that brought her here, no it was the soft whimpers she heard through her apartment window last night. Carrying a bag full of medicine and bandages she stepped up towards a pile of card board boxes . A loud growl emitted from those brown boxes an Sanaa could make out a soft shuffling sound. She gasped at the sight of a beaten up pit-bull, it was worse then she thought.
The dog's teeth were stained with red and he snapped his jaws approaching closer. Holding her position Sanaa smiled and raised her hand. "Hush now, come over here." she spoke in stern commanding voice. The dog whimpered softly catching her scent and obediently he limped forward into view. A long piece of glass was wedged between his paw toes and Sanaa couldn't help but wince in pain from the sight of it.
"I will make it better, stop your crying." she whispered in a rather sweet tone. Her demeanor was calm as she knelt down beside the wounded dog. Long black locks pulled up into a pony tail she brushed her hair from her view. Instinctively, she pulled the glass out and poured alcohol over the dogs paw. The animal yelped and attempted to pull back but Sanaa held him there. Petting his head she cooed to him, wanting to make him feel safe even for a few moments.
Letting the alcohol soak in she pulled some aloe leaves from her bag and then bandaged the paw up tightly. Once she was finished she gathered her things and stepped back. "There you go honey, good as new!" she said with a smile. It didn't occur to her that her actions might've saved that dog's life. Cleaning the wound and making sure it was properly wrapped. Such a small gesture made the dog jump up and limp away with a wagging tail.
Walking away from the alleyway Sanaa couldn't help but frown this wasn't the life she pictured for herself. Rescuing strays and wrapping paws. But it was better then being a pawn in her father's house. "we must keep the blood line pure, you will marry who I decide is good for our family's name." Sucking her teeth Sanaa couldn't help but remind herself, she dodged a bullet with that one. It was true when they said you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family.
