Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Blending in with his surroundings, was horrible. He ended up going through college and then held a high paying job in a law firm. Staring out the window, he sat in his comfy chair, turning from side to side slightly. Rubbing his hand across his chin, he thought to himself. Eyes looked over the view, spotting a bird resting upon the window sill. Hazel hues looked over the foul creature, pecking at its own feathers, sifting through the filth that rested on its body. The beast inside of him relished in the idea of taking it as its treat. Hushing the primal instincts, he moved his attention to another tree. Simultaneously finding a squirrel within its shelter. Years of training controlled the monster within, bringing him back to reality.

A light knock came to his door, quickly spinning to face front and typing as if he was actually doing something. "Come in," he called towards the door. He looked up and smiled at her as she entered the room. Her tiny black dress fit tightly against her rocking body. His eyes looked up and down her ever so briefly. He made sure not to let her know of his visual advances. "Your boss has requested your presence sir." He nodded his head with a smile towards her, and stood from his seat. As he walked out of the room, he thanked her and headed for the boss's domain. With a balled up fist, he rapped on the door. When he was commanded to proceed, he did as he was told. Having a seat before the rather large desk, he looked to his boss. "What can I do you for, sir?" He boss clasped his hands together and began discussing the issues with their next big client. Even though the money was good, it was not an issue to the werewolf. Although, he did relish in the high life. He had a nice three bedroom apartment with two whole bathrooms, and a very spacious living room. The main attraction to that room was a very large flat screen tv, he spent over two thousand dollars for. He also drove a very nice sports car, a candy apple red Camaro.

The meeting that seemed to be short, turned into something that took hours, leaving the werewolf to leave late from his scheduled time off. As he walked to the parking lot, unlocking the sexy vehicle he called his own, he looked at his phone. It was close to nine. He stopped for a moment as he got to the door, he could make a night of it, going to the bars and hooking up with any girl that liked what they saw. A man standing at six feet tall and two inches was rather appealing to the ladies. His good looks, bright eyes and great sense of fashion. But tonight, he decided he would go to a nicer place, possibly making nice conversation with a chic before taking her back to his place.

He drove to the only place he could think of, the Griffen. The Griffen was the perfect place for a great meal, a nice glass of wine, and sophisticated people ventured its depths often. The calming music of the piano and other orchestra music filled the building, making the scenery very beautiful and grand. The hostess greeted him at the door, helping him to his seat in a nice area of the restaurant, with a clear view of the bar. When his waitress actually came to his table, he held the menu going over all the options with his eyes, even though he already knew he wanted the twelve ounce steak, cooked rare, served with green beans and mashed potatoes. To drink, he ordered a glass of Pinot Noir. When she came back with his drink and to take his order, he grabbed at the glass, swirling its contents in the glass and then smelling the wine. It was his favorite, one he had enjoyed for years.

When his food came, he delicately cut through the meat, separating it into small enough pieces he could easily chew. His eyes stayed to the plate, mixing the taste of warm gravy and long fresh beans together. It was overwhelming and often hoped he could enjoy this bliss daily. Of course, he could if he truly wished, but with his demanding job and the want to hunt could not live together happily. He would have to eat the food prepared by humans, to indulge in their harvest. Ordering another glass of wine, he sat and watched the people among him. To the left sat a lonely man, like himself. But this stranger did not enjoy the perks of living large. He ate a bowl of soup with a side of fresh french bread. The chairs around his table were bare, no extra coats or hand bags. He was alone. To the right sat a new couple, obviously drenched in another's love. He eyed them curiously, vowing to never live that life for himself. Instead he looked to the bar and finished his meal in silence.

As she walked past, people stared. Mostly the men, which earned her glares from their jealous girlfriends and wives. Normally, Teimhnin would have taken time to flaunt her looks. Now, unfortunately, was not the time. Her mind was in a completely different place as she walked down the sidewalk. The place she was headed to had a sophisticated air, and her normal clothing wouldn't work. Black, leather combat boots were replaced with cherry red stilettos. Her dark skinny jeans and band t-shirts were replaced with a black dress that hugged her every curve. The dress went to her mid-thigh, and it's dark texture made her other features stand out more. Teimhnin's skin was a pale and smooth, nothing damaging it. The black of the dress made her naturally crimson hair stand out most, contrasting greatly. No matter how sophisticated this place was, she refused to tie up her hair. It was so long it reached her hips, making a red curtain around her. Her eyes, a stormy gray that faded to white around her pupils, were focused on the note she had in her pale hands. It's words were simple, but they held so much more meaning. I have more information. Meet me at the restaurant called Griffen. I will be there all day so come when you have time. The minute she had read those words, excitment and panic had built up in her. She was the Beta of a pack now, but there were some things her pack didn't need to know.

When Teimhnin left her birth pack, it was to hunt down the werewolf that had killed her mother. When she had found the pack of the murderer, it was to her dismay that it one who killed her mother was the Beta male. Teimhnin would have lost all hope if it weren't for the Alpha. He had been lonely, not finding the right female for him. It was pure luck that Teimhnin had came along when she did, for the Alpha fell hopelessly in love with her. She manipulated him into thinking she loved him back, bringing her ever-closer to the Beta. After a short while, she faked her own death. The Alpha was heartbroken, but Teimhnin had gathered enough information to tell her informants to look for when she could get the Beta alone. A short while after, one of her informants betrayed her and told the pack that she was hunting the Beta. The Beta ran, but she did kill him. In the process of it all, the Alpha heartbreak had grown to rage. The death of the Beta broke him, and he had been hunting Teimhnin down ever since.

Teimhnin shook the memory off, focusing on why she was here today. There was information on her hunters' whereabouts, so of course she was going to me Zachary. He was her head informant, and she had found him when he was breaking into a store. Teimhnin took Zachary in for a while, learning that he was stealing money for his schooling. When she offered Zachary 5,000 dollars a week for his schooling, they struck up a deal. In his spare time, he would gather information about her hunter and she would pay for his education. Teimhnin was payed 13,000 dollars a week from her birth pack as payment for revenging her mother. It turned out that the one she had killed was also responsible for the deaths of a lot of her birth pack's females. Now, not only had she revenged her mother, but was being payed for the rest of her life because of it.

Lifting her eyes from the note in her hand, she looked into to the window of the restaurant. True to his writing, Zachary sat at a table in the corner. Walking into Griffen, she caught the eyes of a lot of the men there. She smirked at all of them, knowing full well that she could kill them if they pursued her. As she was walking to the bar, Zachary brushed past her to leave. As his hand brushed hers, a small piece of paper was left. She gave him the smallest of smiles as he walked past, and her smile was returned. Walking over to the bar, she took a seat in one of the classy stools. As she caught the attention of a waitress, she ordered a glass of Merlot. It wasn't her favorite, but the drink wasn't her main focus. Placing the note in front of her, she read the words with a sigh of relief. The pack seems to think you are in Russia. That is where they were seen just last week. You are safe, relax.

P.S. Looking as gorgeous as always, I see.

Teimhnin smiled slightly, relieved at what she had read and because of Zachary's banter. He always left comments like that when he left a note, and it cheered her up slightly. Looking around Griffen, she was immediately thankful for her choice of dress. This place was more sophisticated than the clubs she usually inhabited. Looking around, her nose caught the scent of one like her. Her silver eyes looked for the source, finding him in a matter of seconds. Indeed, he was more attractive than most of the men in here. The wolf in her perked up, slightly interested. Teimhnin considered going up to him and talking, but it looked like he was enjoying his own meal. Flicking her eyes around Griffen, they latched on to an obviously in love couple. She watched them, knowing full well that they would most likely break up in a matter of weeks. Love was fickle, she had learned that a while ago. Turning her eyes away from them, Teimhnin sipped her drink casually while observing the place known as Griffen once more.

Taking his napkin from his lap, he brought it to his lips, wiping any debris or crumbs from his meal. When he was finished, he delicately placed his napkin on the side of his plate. He moved the rest of the used silverware after taking his last bite. The fork and knife laid in the middle, making it easier for the waitress to take away his dishes. Teeth grinding against the chunky bit of meat left in his mouth, he looked around the room. A distinct and yet unknown scent traveled in his direction. Bright hues graced over the bodies in the room, but a beautiful sight caught his eye, forcing him to put all his attention on her. Her presence demanded respect and attention. It was almost impossible to pry his eyes from her. Only when the waitress came back to his side, did he look away. "Thank you for the lovely meal miss," he said with a wink. He watched as she felt weak in the knees, staring at the handsome smile he showed her, as he showed all the ladies before her. As she loaded the dishes on her arms, she looked to him "do you need anything else, sir?" As he looked up into her eyes, theirs smoldering and mixing as their stares strengthened in curiosity. "I was wondering if you would like to go out sometime, perhaps this Friday night?" She giggled and smiled at him like a school girl. Quickly she took a pen from her apron and jotted down her phone number on it. Sliding the paper in front of him, she bit her lower lip and headed on her way towards the kitchen. He watched her, until the bright red hair was back in his line of sight.

He sat, watching her, wondering if he should make his way to her side. A young waiter walked from behind the bar, helping the happy couple near him. Once the waiter was finished, Jace called for his service at the table. When the waiter came to his side, he pointed to the red-head, "what is that wine she is drinking? I have noticed how lovely it looks in her glass and wish for a glass myself." The waiter nodded his head and replied with a soft smile, "that would be the best Merlot we serve. It is rich in flavor, a good wine for anyone looking for delight in a glass." Jace chuckled, "you have sold me good sir! Might you bring me a glass once you become available?" The waiter nodded his head and moved for the bar. Finishing the last bit in his glass, he stared at her once more. He chuckled and thought to himself. Quickly the waiter came back to his table with the glass of Merlot in hand. "Now, I wish for you to deliver that very glass to that very beautiful woman right there," he said as he pointed the mysterious red-head. "I would also like a glass of Pinot Noir, but bring it to me once I am seated beside her. If you do all I ask, my good friend Andrew Jackson, would be willing to spend quality time with you," he said as he slipped a twenty dollar bill from his wallet and towards the waiter. The waiter nodded his head, and just as minion he did what he was told. He watched as the waiter lightly tapped her shoulder, pulling her attention to him and the glass of wine. As he placed the wine down on the coaster, sliding it before her, he bowed and left her sight. Watching her reaction for a moment, he pulled himself from his seat and slowly made his way to her side.

Once seated, he sat beside her, and just like clockwork, the waiter was back with his glass of wine. Taking the glass in his hand, he sniffed before swirling it around. "I heard this was the best Merlot in this place, and decided a beautiful lady like yourself deserves nothing but the ultimate best." He took a sip of his wine and placed it down, gently on the bar. The beast within its chamber started to thrash about, wanting more from the fae to his side, but Jace had trained his wolf to obey and to much fighting between the two, the hunter subsided. Holding out his hand, he waited for hers to be held within his. When their hands made contact, he spoke gently, only audible for her ears only. "I am Jace Valentine and might I say it is a pleasure to meet you. I couldn't help but wander over here and request a conversation with such a gem in a room among lowly pebbles." Her scent was strong and intoxicating, but he was a gentleman when need be, just as now was one of those times.

As she watched the dark liquid swirl within her glass, Teimhnin's mind was in another place. She had been running so long, going to almost every country at least twice. They never found her, but she knew that they were doubling their advances. It was only a matter of time until she was found, her hunters' location right now made her pause. Why wouldn't they look in the states for her? Of all the countries she had ever been to, America was one they never looked for her in. They even drove her out of Ireland, her homeland. Her hunters have been running her out of everywhere but here. Why? Were they just simply to stupid to look for her here? Flipping the note over, she silently took a pen from the holder. Writing the orders she had for Zachary: Double the information patrols in whatever country they are in. I think they aren't coming to America for a reason. Have the informants search the pack background and everything known possible. Report back to me in two months. Email me the information. It is too dangerous for us to be meeting frequently.

Teimhnin put the pen back just as the sound of giggling assailed her ears. She was in perfect synchronization with her wolf, allowing her to have the precise hearing when she wished. Flicking her silver eyes around Griffen, she found the source of such an annoying sound. When she caught sight of the male werewolf, Teimhnin almost smirked. Flirting with the waitresses, how quaint. Looking around the bar, she saw that the man running it was indeed male. Giving him an inviting smile, she watched as the human dismissed his other customers and walked over to her. "How may I be of assistance, ma'am?" Teimhnin smiled further when his eyes traveled down her figure. Looking at him she spoke softly. "About this drink.." She nodded to her wine glass. That was all she had to say before the human spoke. "Oh... u-uh umm... there is no need to worry miss. For you, drinks are free." A slow smile lit her face, causing the human to sputter further. "Why, thank you for being so generous." Teimhnin watched as he nodded, continuing to look at her with lust. Sighing, Teimhnin gave him a cold look of hatred that all but forced him to walk away frightened.

Just as she was taking a sip from her drink, a tap on her shoulder caught her attention. Teimhnin turned her silver eyes to meet the ones of a young waiter. She watched as he placed a drink in front of her that was exactly like the one she already had. Teimhnin nearly rolled her eyes, thinking it was from the man running the bar. Smiling at the young waiter, she realized that he too was looking at her in a perverse manner. Slowly, her silver eyes turned to a bright intensity. They glared at the young waiter, scaring him enough for him to walk away at a brisk pace. The humans could look, but she was known for breaking their bones if they touched her.

Her attention was turned away from the young waiter when the seat next to her suddenly became occupied. Teimhnin's nose caught the scent of someone like her, and she turned her head to see the male werewolf that had been flirting with the waitress. Looking at him up close, her wolf instantly became alerted. He was very attractive, and Teimhnin had always preferred blondes. Looking him directly in the eyes, she sat up straighter. The humans wouldn't know this, but she now showed her dominance over him. She was a Beta, and he would respect her. Feeling the contact their hands made, Teimhnin looked down at their hands briefly. Her gaze was questioning for a moment, but quickly turned back to its original nonchalance as he spoke. A slow smirk graced her face as he complimented her. Teimhnin had an Irish accent, mixed with the undertones of the British. "It is nice to meet you, Jace Valentine. I am Teimhnin, Beta of the Braveheart pack. A gem? I have to say, that is a new one. I would enjoy having a conversation with such a handsome man as yourself. You are charmer, the waitress giving you doll eyes at this very moment proves so." Teimhnin nodded her head to the young waitress, smiling at the jealousy apparent on the little human's face.

Holding her hand gently within his strong palm, he stared into her eyes, bringing her hand to his lips and gently kissing the back part of her hand. Once he had placed the gentle kiss upon her skin, he released her hand, allowing his to fall to the bar. "It is a pleasure to meet such a high ranking member of the Braveheart pack, miss Teimhnin. So what would bring you to this neck of the woods, alone drinking a glass of wine?" He waited for her answer, taking a sip of the liquid presented before him. His eyes looked away from hers now, showing his wolfish submission to her, respecting her rank. While he was calm and reserved, his wolf inside thrashed about at it's fleshen cave. Smelling her scent made it all the more worse. But just as the raging waves of the ocean could calm in an instant, as did his canine half. His wolf fully submitted to her, in any way he could while trapped. "Good evening Beta Teimhnin," he said while portraying his utmost respect for her. Lifting his glass to his lips, he took a sip, tasting the delightful taste of mashed grapes and fermentation. "I apologize for his... behavior. Surely, you understand it has been a very long time since I have come across such a beautiful woman. He seems to have forgotten the years of training we went through in able to curve his aggression and lack of respect. I assure you it will not happen again." His tone was hushed, just for her ears only.

The waiter came back to their side, "is there anything else I can get you today, sir or miss?" Jace looked to his company and then to the waiter. "Nothing for me, but whatever the lady wishes, put it on my tab." Jace was a gentleman to the ladies, but when a brute of unwanted attention came to him, wishing to bring more than good times, it angered the brute. As he waited for the lady to reply, the waiter seemed to check her out. Keeping himself from the snarling he wished to show the male, he quietly spoke to him. "Why don't you take a picture? It will last longer, I assure you." The male looked to Jace, trying to hide his advances towards the Beta. Jace looked to the male, using his eyes only, threatening him for everything he was worth. Quickly he moved from them, hiding in a different portion of the restaurant. Jace chuckled to himself lightly, finishing the last portion of his wine. "So what are your plans now, miss Teimhnin?"

Teimhnin's silver eyes locked onto his as he placed his lips upon her hand. She had never known a male to be so gentlemanly. The corner of her mouth lifted, partially smiling at him. He seemed to gentlemanly to be real. At least, for a wereling. Teimhnin's wolf head tilted in curiosity, locked away inside of her. Teimhnin's wolf was in perfect sync with her, they never argued and saw eye to eye. Running her gaze slowly over over him, she found his weak point. The next words he spoke didn't seem to come from him, but from his wolf talking to hers. Inside of her, her wolf smiled at his submission. Teimhnin smiled at him as well, nodding to show she accepted his submission. "Good evening, Jace Valentine." Her wolf replied to his, still smiling at him.

Grinning at him, Teimhnin replied to him softly for his ears only. "It is alright, Jace. I've seen plenty of aggressive males in my lifetime. Yours is far from the worst, and you seem to hold good control over him. I myself have no trouble with my wolf, her and I are in perfect sync. Males seem to have more difficulty, but it is does not bother me at all. I can see that you respect both me and my rank and I thank you for that." Nodding to her glass of wine, she answered his earlier question. "I came here for a specific reason, but I'm afraid it is rather secret. Yes, I was planning on enjoying a glass of wine on my own, but now that I am in your company I will enjoy having a conversation as well as enjoy some wine." As the waiter came around, Teimhnin was about to address him when Jace did it instead. A slow smirk worked its way onto her mouth as the waiter eyes worked over her. Jace was the one who scared him off this time. She enjoyed watching him defend her, but he should have been concerned for the life of the human. If the human had even advanced on her, he wouldn't have left without a broken bone.

At Jace's question, Teimhnin knew the answer immediately. Looking at him, she spoke softly. "Griffen isn't usually a place I enjoy to inhabit. I am more for the nightclubs and the dancing. I just came here to get some information from and friend and to recruit werewolves into my pack. Seeing that you are the only one here, I was correct in thinking that most werelings do not come here."

Hearing her reply, the wolf quieted down and rested within his human form. She appreciated him, making the beast happy, wagging his tail happily. Jace smiled and nodded his head, "yes but his actions do not make sense. We have done so much work together. Most days he listens rather well. But I do respect you for your rank and being a very beautiful woman. I'm surprised males are not crowding around you, but perhaps I am more of a buffer for you, not allowing the simple riff raff about." He ordered another drink from the bartender, but kept his attention on her. "A beautiful frame like that would do well in Rapture I am sure. But from time to time, you must get away from the hussle and bussle and live life at a slower rate, enjoy life and all it wonders, even if it takes hours upon hours to do so." He said softly as his eyes traced over her body and then returning to the pools of silver commonly known as eyes.

In his years, Jace had ventured all over the world. During his human studies, he traveled to Europe, searching for any sense of adventure he could sink his teeth into. Literally. Traveling all over Germany was probably his favorite. Beautiful girls, all the beer he could consume, and amazing food. The scenery was good too. But even in all his travels, he did not see any of them that looked anything like Teimhnin. Her hair was bright like the sun's glow on a beautiful sunset, resting on the ocean's water. Her eyes were bright and vivid, drawing his attention to them. But he also liked a curvy girl, one with a nice ass and boobs to match. Teimhnin had the complete package. Thus far her attitude was stelar, something which drove him crazy with lust for her. But he would keep it cool. Being hasty was the game of the fool. In order to get a classy lady, you had to show her all the class she had. "So this pack that you speak of, how many wolves do you have? I've been alone for a very long time, but I could handle living in a pack. Have you a need for muscle in your pack? Or perhaps a special body guard?"

Teimhnin's wolf was pleased with the male's behavior, sitting and smiling with her tongue lolled out of her mouth. Teimhnin agreed with her wolf, their behavior was nothing less than perfect. Smiling, she spoke. "I am thankful for your respect of me, as well as your wolf's. I am not too sure about me having males crowding around me. Their foolish banter brings out the worst in me, I'm afraid. If they advance on me I tend to break them. Yes, you are like a buffer for me. Your company is saving the bones of many men." When annoyed by humans, Teimhnin indeed got rather violent. She eyes looked for his reaction, listening as he spoke again. "I agree, you do have to slow down every once in a while. I do enjoy the dancing, though. That would be mainly what I do, I dance until the early morning and then return to my pack. Usually I stay at the mansion or go somewhere else when I wish to escape the ‘hussle and bussle’, as you say.”

As she looked him over she actually saw his features. The angle of his jaw. The way his muscles didn't show under his shirt, but it was obvious he had them. Jace's blonde hair caught her eye, for she had a thing for the blonde ones. There was something different about him though. He seemed closed off, more like a hypnotizing mystery. Running had brought her to meet many different men, but none with a personality like his. Her wolf looked at his while sitting, looking him over curiously. She didn't know if he was just being nice to her, or that there was something genuine about him. His voice broke her out of her reverie, listening intently as he spoke. When he finished, Teimhnin spoke with pride of her pack. In the short few days she had been there, more wolves had been coming and asking for acceptance. "The pack has just began, and our numbers are growing steadily. We do not have many males in our pack, so you would be welcomed. We currently do not have anyone filling our Elite rank, and I think you would suit it well. Of course, you would have to speak to the Alpha. I am not on to take being guarded well, but if you are offering I just might be able to make an exception." Teimhnin quietly set her chin in her palm, looking him over as she waited for him to reply.

A low chuckle escaped his lips as he stared at the Beta. She was beautiful and would do anything she asked of him, not only for her rank, but for the way he just enjoyed being around her. As a waiter was walking towards them, Jace shot him a "don't you dare" look and the waiter turned tail in the other direction. Drawing his attention back to the female, he smiled and nodded his head. "I would be honored to be an Elite in your pack. I will defend you till my last breath. If you need me to speak to the Alpha, I completely understand and will be more than willing to have a meeting with him for myself. I would actually be very interested to meet my new leader." he chuckled, taking a sip of his wine and placing it back on the bar. He looked around the room and then back to her. "Is there somewhere we can go, and uh, speak in private? Or perhaps you could show me where the pack lives. I would like to know where you, I mean, where I will be living." Just thinking about them being in a room alone with her, was enough to cause a shock of excitement throughout his body. He hoped she would take him to her room first, then after some more talking, perhaps the festivities would begin.

Smiling at him, Teimhnin nodded her head in approval. He would fit well for the Elite position, and the pack would grow nicely. She noticed how he glared at the waiter, and smirk finding its way onto her face. "I do suggest that you take council with the Alpha, I would be overstepping my bounds if I gave you the rank. Since you have already pledged your oath, it seems that I do not need to ask it of you. I'm sure the Alpha will be delighted to find a male within his ranks." Her silver eyes looked into his, showing the pride she held in her rank and her pack. Lifting her wineglass, she drank the rest of its contents. Looking down at the note that had been forgotten in front of her, she gently folded it and attached it to one of the pens before placing it in its holder. Turning her head, she looked to find Zachary sitting on a bench across the street. She knew he would know where to find it after she left. Jace's voice brought her attention to him, and she smiled at his perfect timing. He gave her perfect oppurtunity to leave and signal Zachary. "Yes, the pack stays in a large cabin mansion. We also have beautiful woodlands and waterfalls. It is quite calming I can give you a tour of the house, and show you the rest of the territory as well if you'd like." The thought of bringing him to the house alone with her sent shivers up her spine, but she hid them well. In all truth, Teimhnin couldn't wait to be home and change out of the uncomfortable heels and dress. Her shorts and tshirts were calling to her it seemed. Teimhnin's wolf stood, nodding her head to his wolf. She couldn't doubt that her wolf was as alert by bringing him to the house as she was, but Teimhnin kept her under control. Once they were home all bets would be off, letting the chips fall where they may.
