Raissa reached the hotel door and had paused in her step to just drink in the scene before her. The hotel before her was lit up and made the shadows that surround it seem not as dark as they had looked. Raissa put her hand to the cool handle of the door and her heart leaped in her chest. Its going to be different this time. Its going to be worth it. I will have what i have been wishing for..a...a family. Nervous butterflies fluttered their way around Raissa's stomach making her feel queasy and excited at the same time. Raissa pulled down the handle to the door and pushed it open. The scent hit her like a ton of bricks and she swallowed hard, her nervousness jumping a bit. I have Laundi's word. Its ok. She thought and she felt her wolf Remi scratching around inside of her. Remi was nervous and wanted to run, run away and hide. It was always the second instinct, to run and be alone forever. Raissa was worried about becoming alone, and being alone...being abandoned again.
Raissa swallowed the nervous feelings and slipped into the hotel's lobby. She combed her fingers through her long brown hair, the damp ends were curled slightly. She looked around her brown eyes were shielded but held a light of hope. She could feel the power pulsing in the walls of the place, and it was making her feel a little weak. Raissa slowly moved forward nervous. "Hello?" She asked aloud her voice seeming empty and quiet on the echoing walls. It was a well lit lobby and the red plush carpet was soft under her feet, she was enjoying being in the warmth of the lobby. I think i'm going to like it here. She thought. "Pfft you aren't gonna be accepted you dumb ass! You need to run your to weak." Remi's voice floated through her mind and Raissa let out a soft growl. Leave me alone Remi. She thought and calmly leaned against the counter biting her lip and staring off into space.
