Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

A stumbling figure moved with effort across the forest, blood staining his path as he walked slowly to somewhere safe to rest. He knew this territory was taken by others like him, but the pain and tiredness prevented him to go anywhere else. His hand trying to stop the bleeding at the end of his ribs, his throat swallowing the blood coming with each breath he took. He had been too distracted watching around the city and didn't noticed the knife until it was trespassing his flesh and puncturing his right lung. He killed the thief indeed but he was still angry to himself for being hurt by such a simple creature and being all his fault. This just made him hate humans more than before. Those creatures just cared for material things and their own benefit. His mind made him remember of his pack. They were not different from the humans though. The black haired man removed the thought from his head and kept moving.

Daiken looked at the light blue sky through the tree branches over his head.  “At least it will be dark in a few hours.” His voice was low and tired. He preferred the tranquility and coldness of the night. A few more steps he found a nice spot with a thick trunk and other around, hiding him from unwanted guests. Lying down with his back against the tree, he let his eyes close and suppressed the want to shift into his true form. He didn't like to suffer with his actual wound during the transformation, knowing it could expand and cause more damage. 'Patience' he thought, trying to get at least a light sleep that didn’t come. There were too many things in his head. He stayed there with his eyes closed, hearing the natural sounds surrounding him.

The silence of the territory was deafening. Snowy ears flicked at the sound of the thudding heartbeat of a deer. Calm, peaceful, and quiet as the creature feasted on a lucky find of clovers. It had no idea it would become a meal soon enough. The scent of flesh drifted to the beta's nose, practically asking to be tasted. One carefully silent step after another drew her ever closer to her prey. The breeze blew her scent away from the doe, but it's senses were alert as well. Its ears were pinned back, listening for predators that would make even the slightest misstep. As she grew to be within six feet of her prey, the beta lowered her body to the ground and she became ready to attack. With one quick shove of her back legs, wolf and deer collided. They both fell to the ground, she on her feet and her prey underneath her. The doe made a grunting sound of pain as the wolf's jaws snapped its neck. Teimhnin gave a satisfied sound as she lifted her prey in her jaws and dragged it away.

This territory was hers now, she was the Alpha's second in command. There was no reason to be cautious when she was deep in her own home, yet the scent of blood put her on edge. Dropping her kill, she inhaled sharply. The scent wasn't an animal, but one of her own species. Worry that it was one of her pack caused her to inhale again and move more quickly towards the smell. She went through each packmate's scent one at a time. Neither of them matched the one that had laced her nostrils now. Her suspicions were confirmed when an unfamiliar shock of dark hair. Tei knew that his blood was spilling onto the grounds her home. This wereling needed help, and fast before he bled out. Remembering what she had done when she had first gotten here, Tei ran to she shed she had placed all her spare supplies. The pure white of her wolf form darted around trees and under alcoves. Paws turned to bare feet at the sight of her supply shed. She quickly darted through the doors to grab the two duffle bags of medical supplies. She ran back out as quickly as she ran in, shifting back into her wolf form and carrying the bags in her mouth.

Tei shifted to her human form right before she let herself be seen by the unfamiliar werewolf. She dropped the duffle bags in front of his feet before she turned to him. The beta's silver eyes looked him over, seeing a wound that most likely punctured his lung. He would heal internally soon enough but she would do what she could to help until he did. Grabbing gauze out of one duffle bag, she grabbed medical tape out of the other. She was next to him with a flash of red hair, looking at his face to get him to look at her. If he didnt heal soon, he would be dead. She would have to give him her blood before her did die. He came into her home, it was her responsibility to help him now.

Tei lifted his shirt but was stopped by a knife she had not seen sticking out of his flesh. Tei hummed softly and tried to soothe him while her right tugged the knife from gently from his body. She quickly dropped the blade to the ground and began putting gauze on the wound. Her voice was gentle towards him as she spoke. "Now that the knife is gone, you'll begin to heal internally. I am doing what I can to stop the bleeding, but your wound will be gone soon. There is going to be a few seconds of burning as your body works to heal itself. After that you should be fine. Just relax your muscles and let your body heal." Tei sat cross-legged on the ground as she watched him heal. Taking him to the healer would've taken far too long and he wouldn't have made it there alive. When he was healed, she would be able to question him.

He didn't noticed another wolf was around, he was too tired and unable to take a sleep, again. Until his guest was right in front of him he realized the danger he could be in. Wounded he was no good in any fight and the back of his mind remembered him he was in a taken territory. The chances to find someone were high and he ingnored them. He opened his eyes quickly looking at a red haired female too close to him, at the same moment she took the knife and pull it out. A choked screm of pain got trapped in his throat, blood dripping from his wound and mouth. His muscles tensed and his eyes looked a little annoyed at the female.

He couldn't even remembered why he didn't remove the knife himself after the attack. His thoughts where more dizzy than before and his body wasn't responding as usual. Something was wrong. His breath grew forced and heavy, difficult to get air into his lungs. This wasn't normal, he had been stabbed before in many other occations and in a much dangerous way, and he never felt this way before. Maybe there was something in the knife that was causing his body to collapse.

Daiken hardly heard what the female said to him. He knew she was there to help, if not, he was in serious problems. He tried to lift his self from the ground but his sight quickly tuned dark and felt again against the trunk. His hands where trembling and his breath got more forced. His mind started to panic not knowing what the hell was wrong with him but stayed silent in his place.

Tei jumped up when he collapsed in on himself. Why wasn't he healing already? He needed to see a healer but with the amount of blood leaving his body it wouldn't be safe to move him. If his body was rejecting to healing, then the answer would be that his own blood was infected. She looked to see if the knife might have been poisoned, but it was too covered in blood to tell. T went to the first duffle bag and pulled out a small pouch of syringes and needles. She then pulled out another one full of labeled antidotes. Then, removing the gauze, she examined the wound. The purpling around the edges gave her and educated guess on what poison it was. She took out the antidote and carefully put it into a syringe. Holding his arm in her hand, she punctured a vein with the needle and injected the antidote that should work. Tei could see he was in pain, and she knew there was a way to help him completely.

"Okay, I am not a doctor and getting you to our healer would most likely kill you. If i gave you the right antidote, there is still a small chance youll survive. I'm not just let you die unless you choose to. I will feed you my blood if that is what yo want. There is a chance you will die with the antidote because I probably didn't have enough." Tei hoped that he wouldn't choose to die, allowing someone to just die when she knew she could help them was not an option for the beta.

She carefully put both the antidote and the syringe in their places before sitting cross legged again and looking at the newcomer wereling. Every once in a while she changed his guaze, getting to wound infected wouldn't help at all. It was hard to imagine that he was even alive with the amount of blood he was losing. T was surprised that it hadn't yet started leaking from his ears. She looked down at her forearm, knowing where to bite to make her own blood flow. Tei had done it only once before, but she had been only ten years old and her blood had not been strong enough.

It was not just pain his body was feeling, it was most of all a dizzines and trembling he couldn't control. It was like being extremelly drunk and bitten by a snake at the same time. All his muscles were not responding correctly, even the important ones like his lungs and heart, specially all the part where the knife puntured. The air was barely getting insede his lungs, more blood was coming from his mouth and a handfull of the crymson liquid dripping from his wound staining fully his gray buttom shirt and jeans.

Daiken looked with difficulty at his companion taking several things from the pack she brouth, not knowing exactly what where those things until he felt the niddle inside his vein. It didn't hurt until the liquid started filling his veins. It burned. A lot. He clenched his jaws to prevent a scream of pure pain and desesperation. His eyes closed and his shaking hands inscrusted in the ground. He heard the female talking again, explainin it was an antidote for a poison. She could be right, a poisoned knife was logic, but did she knew what kind of poison or venom was it? He could't feel anything pleasant, just pain and flames inside his veins.

He opened his yellow green eyes and watched the female. His red hair shining in the dim light. His tried to breath thinking in the idea of drinking her blood. He didn't like the invitation, he had nothing to make shure she was of trust. Yes, she had been trying to help him all this time but he barely knew her. He had been betrayed many times in his life. He answerd her with a disaproval look moving slightly his head. She was true in one thing, he needed it, but his pride was still in first place.

The beta watched as the antidote took effect and seemed to fail. It only looked like it was hurting him more. Either that or his body was going through the burning of healing. When more blood spilt onto the ground, Teimhnin knew it wasn't working. He was losing blood even faster than before and it seemed like he was choking. The thought of him drowning in his own blood tugged something inside of her. No one deserved to die like that. The look he had given her made her know he didn't want her to feed him his blood, but that was what she had to do. Why not? She was taking a pretty big leap of trust that he wouldn't kill her the minute he was healed. There always was brief moment of weakness as the body rejuvenated its own blood. That time would be enough to kill her. If he didn't realize that now, he was going to in a few seconds.

Canine teeth of her wolf lengthened as she raised her forearm to her mouth. She bit down hard, feeling her own skin break and blood flow. It hurt, but the pain annoyed her more than made her want to cry. Tei moved closer to him, arm dripping with the liquid hat would save his life. The beta put her hand on the back of his head and spoke to him in a tight voice. "Take it or leave it. The minute you heal there is an opportunity to either run or kill me. I'll be weak while you'll be like a shiny new toy. Or, you can just die because there wasn't enough of the antidote. You need much more than what a simple syringe will give you. I am offering this to you with a risk to myself because no one deserves to die by drowning in their own blood. So, you either drink or you drink. There is no choice anymore."

She let her blood drip and looked at him with hard, silver eyes. He needed this now, and she would shove her arm into his mouth if he didn't take it. He was a fool if he didn't want to have his life saved just because of some petty little issue. The beta was offering him her blood, as much as he needed to live. It wouldn't bond them in any way and her blood would be out of his system soon after he healed.

He was going to faint soon, he knew that. The more he thought about the reason he was now in, in the line of death, the more confused he get. The believed at first that it was a simple thief wanting to steal his money back in the city, now, it didn't fit. The vemon was too advanced, like specially made for a werewolf. Why would a thief had a poisoned knife? He now regret he killed him, he could find him and question him, or better yet, torture him. Now he will never find out exactly. A final thought brougth a new idea, his brother. Could he was the one who sent this human to torture him? It wouln't be rare if that was the whole explenation.

The smell of fresh blood distracted him from his toughts. The female completely ignored his refuse to feed and was now bleeding from his arm right in front of his mouth. Her other hand was at the back of his head between his dark hair, like pushing him to take the blood no matter what he wanted. Her words just confirmed it. He needed it, that was all, and in the other hand, her blood smelled so... good... and sweet. His throat started to burn, not from the antidote, but from the thirst. He loved blood, that was his first choose after killing a pray. Specially the human blood, it was so filling. He once worried he was a kind of vampire.

He couldn't resist any more. He moved his head towards her arm and placed his lips against her skin around the wound. He thought one last time if he was doing the right choice and finally, he suck out her blood and swallow. At first the taste mixed with his own blood, then, he relish her warm blood. He didn't want to take to much in fear that he could make the benefactor weak. Daiken stopped and liked her wound that was not bleeding any more and moved back from her, again against the tree trunk. He looked at her gratefull and lowered his head respectful. He didn't knew who this wolf was but the fact that she cared enought to gave him her blood was enough to gain his respect.

He could feel her blood was helping him, a lot. The air started coming more easy and the burning was lowered. He could see clear now and knew that he should remain there until he was able to walk.

As he drank, she remained completely still. Not a sucks muscle twitched and she had zoned off as he drank. Her mind was in another place, remembering the last time she had done this. At first she had thought her blood was defective, but Tei soon learned that her blood would be human until she had shifted for the first time. Her heart thudded calmly as he took what he needed. When he had finished, she pulled her arm away to examine her wound. It had stopped bleeding and was now in the process of healing. The beta watched with fascination as her own skin closed and mended in a matter of seconds. It amazed her how quickly werewolves healed, even if she was a pureblood.

Shaking her head to clear it, Teimhnin quickly grabbed the poison covered knife and put it in a plastic bag. This would need to go back with her so she could see what type of poison they were dealing with. No human poison would've put him in such a large amount of pain. This would have to have been made especially for their kind, and if worried her immensely. It could be anyone who did that to him, but Tei had to talk to Zachary after this. She had to make sure that they hadn't found her yet, that they were still countries away.

After a few brief minutes of dizziness, she stood and slung both duffle bags over her shoulder. Pale eyes focused on him as she spoke. "You should be fine now. From the way you look now, I'm pretty sure I healed you. Now, would you mind telling me who you are and why you're in my pack's territory?"

He looked closely to her as she gathered everything she needed and store it. After she talk he took a long breath, enlighted by the amout of air he was able to gather without tasting his own blood. So he was right. This was her territory. He questioned himself what rank this wolf had.

His voice was deep and low, a little dry after what he endured. "I'm Daiken, a pureblood of 119 years. I was in the city close to here trying to distract myself when a human stabbed me." He again not mention his last name, he just wanted to forget it but every time someone asks him about his name the memories return. "I killed him quickly and get out of there to prevent anyone to notice the attack. I found this forest and unnable to continue, decided to rest here. I haven't been able to sleep in days and don't know the reason." The dizzines returned, maybe he talked too much. He closed his eyes and took a long breath. He was not used to reveal much information abut him but this was her territory and she at least deserved an explanation. "I will not cause any trouble here. When I can walk again, I will go."

"You're smart, I'll give you that. Keeping our existence would be hard if I was stabbed in the city. The knife was poisoned though, so I'll have to take it back and have the poison identified. You don't have to go anywhere when you can walk again. My pack would like more members. We could offer you protection and safety, if you want to take it." Tei held out her hand to him in the empty space. "I'm Beta Teimhnin, though everyone else either calls me Red, T, or Tei." She offered him a friendly grin. He would make a good member for her pack, maybe even and Elite or Delta. The beta could tell from his body language that he wasn't one for being all too friendly, but from what she had seen he was as stubborn as her.

Stretching her arms, she spoke to him again. "I will have some border patrols later today to do, but if you want to join I have enough time to show you the way to the house before I go out again. If not, I can show you the way back to the city. You'll most likely run in the Eternal Darkness pack though. Most weres seem to be snagged by them." That day wasn't getting any younger, and she had to go find Zach ASAP. He probably had more information for her by now.

Turning her head, she looked at him and waited for an answer.

He heared at her closely. He could tell she was honest but also chaty, something totaly contrary to him. He usually use his body languaje to comunicate rathen than words. The idea of joining a pack was never in his plans after his own was... Daiken erased that thought from his mind. He was a loner, he didn't do in a group and follow orders, the only order he always followed after his father's dead was his own. He looked at her hand streched to him. She was very polite and protective, they shared that. He streched his hand stained with dry bood and thought twice in touching her, he then noticed that she was filled with his blood too and wouldn't mind. His handshake was strong and confident while looking at her eyes, almost white. "It's a pleasure Teimhnin and sorry, I'm not sure, I'm most a lone wolf." Daiken gave her a tired half smile and loosened her hand.

When she mentioned the Eternal Darkness pack he flinched. He remembered Noctavia. He had talk to her before he was attaked. He had no intentions in being part of her park, even making her thought he was in the rival one. He could be a sadist and cinical but never thought of himself as an 'evil' one. Teimhnin's offer was very persuasive but he was planning in seen again Noctavia at some point and the fact that they were rival packs was not safe. What if being in Braveheart will someday have his head ripped because he was 'socializating' with the Eternal Darkeness members? He also remembered Arielle, also a rival, knowing her even before than Noctavia. This was messing up in a dangerous way. He didn't knew what to do. He couldn't be a loner and travel from pack to pack when he wanted too. A deep breath expanded his chest, his look at the ground with his eyes lost. "It seams you have things to do, I don't want to take any more of your time." Maybe a look to her pack can clear up his mind a little. "But I will accept your invitation to your pack's house."

Tei have him a friendly smiles when he shook her hand. He wasn't looking for a pack and that was fine. She had met a few loners before and they didn't seem to enjoy their time stuck in the neutral lands. It was their choice though. "Lone wolfing is alright, just make sure to not cross the territories too many times. Follow me and I'll show you where the pack lives." She slung the bags over her shoulders and walked to the shed where she had gotten them. Waking back to him, she held out her hand to help him up.

(Sorry it's short. Make a thread in the house and I'll reply there.)
