Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Venantium or Eternals?

Name: Gideon Ravenwood

Age: Hasn't kept track for a long time. Knows he was about seventeen when the Americans were going through their Liberal Wars.

Gender: male

Rank: Healer

Summary: Gideon grew up a normal enough French boy in London, France. Until the day he'd met Elisabeth Smith. At a dance during Christmas his eyes had landed upon her and never turned away. She was the most splendid creature he'd ever met with raven locks that fell to her waist, a small slightly upturned nose, and a light sprinkle of freckles that'd rested beneath her beautiful blue eyes. Her skin had been as pale and fair as porcelain, and at the moment he'd believed her to be just as sweet and fragile.

Asking her to dance she'd accepted, and it was during that time he'd fallen in love for the first time. Her laugh, her smile, everything about her had him blind and enamored to what actually laid beneath her seemingly human skin. Once the dance was over she'd given him a sweet, shy smile before disappearing into the crowed and Gideon didn't catch sight of her again that night.

Gideon searched hopelessly for her, not knowing where she lived or as to who her parents were. The day he finally gave up he was slumped on the stairs to his family's manor with is head resting in his hands. The night sky was foggy, but the beautiful moon shone brightly within the sky, casting everything in a silvery light. A light touch had descended upon his shoulder, and startling he'd reached for his family's dagger which he kept in its sheath on his side at all times. Meeting her eyes he'd stood up abruptly and had held out a hand to her as he'd politely bowed to her as he'd been raised to do in the presence of a lady.

She'd said his name like a caress, and his heart racing he fell under her spell once more, following her mutely as she'd lead him into the shadows of his mother's garden. It was only once she'd let him go and moved back into the trees did he feel the change within her. The hair at the back of his neck was raised in warning and chill ran down his spine as she spoke his name again, but more in a hungry way, and not the hungry way he'd became accustomed to girls speaking around him.

"Ms. Ravenwood?" His brow had furrowed as he'd taken a step towards her shadow which had seemed to oddly have grown larger. The next thing he knew he was on his back on the ground. He saw the muzzle of the silver wolf lunging for his throat, and twisting he managed to avoid being killed, but his shoulder wasn't so lucky as the sharp fangs bit and tore into it. His mouth had opened to scream, but nothing came out as the odd feeling warmth and ice spread through his veins.

Managing to grab hold of the dagger in its sheath he drew it out and dug it into the side of the beast, causing hot blood to pour from the wolf and onto him and the beast to throw its head back and howl before stumbling off of him and writhing on the ground before turning back into Ms. Ravenwood. Shaking he'd looked down at the silver dagger and shuddered, dropping it to the ground and took off into the night, his only thoughts on getting away.

For years Gideon remained within his wolf's body, not trusting himself to Change back into his human skin. Finally, after studying the humans of the year 2013 he finally Changed back into his human skin, stole some recent clothes, and booked a plane to America. There he resolves to learn more about his curse and he poured himself into medical school, determined to at least bring some good out of his immortality.
Gideon is a brave soul, but likes to heal more than kill others. He is shy around the opposite sex and has a deep distrust of others of his kind. He’s extremely protective of those put into his care and will do whatever it takes to save a life.
Pack: Braveheart

Joining Keys: Accepted

Human Photo:
Tall, lean, muscular. Has scarring from his shoulder all along his abdominal muscles. Deep brown eyes with flecks of gold within them and chin length brown hair that curls at the nape of his neck.

Wolf Photo:
He’s massive, probably the largest there is. He stands at eleven feet five inches with large muscles that quiver beneath his pelt each time he moves. His pelt is pitch black and his eyes remain their human brown, like all Changlings. He’s a gentle giant though, and when wolves see him they believe it a great shame that such a giant as he would choose the path of healing.

Example Post: It’s Gabriel. You know how I write.
