Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Venantium or Eternals?

1 Reflection Upon the Past on Sat Apr 06, 2013 4:46 pm

The Alpha sat quietly in the leather chair as his golden eyes watched the flames. His golden eyes reflected them, looking like flames themselves as they glittered and moved with the light. Gabriel's gaze was distant though, memories he'd long buried flitting through his mind. It wasn't unusual for one as old as he to forget most things in his past, but they always remained buried within his mind, but never did they surface when he didn't want them.

Slowly his eyes closed as the scene of his mother's death barged forward ahead of the others. He'd been fifteen at the time, too young to have the Change, but the anger had brought it on and he'd had it too early. He'd became more wolf then boy after that, and he'd picked on the Omegas mercilessly, something he wasn't proud of, but back the that'd what he'd thought they were only good for. The image of his mother skin peeling away from her body flooded his mind, the horror flashing through him and he tasted blood in his mouth as his canines shot out and dug into the sensitive skin of his mouth. A supposed friend of his mother, a witch allied to the pack, had given her a new soap for her bath. It had in fact been poison. His father, her soul mate, had been in agony since then and had left the leadership of the pack to Gabriel and his sister, Artemis.

Memories of the days Gabriel had left the pack soon took place, and giving an angry shake of his head Gabriel stood to walk along the book shelves in search of a good book to take his mind off such morbid thoughts. He could still taste the witch's blood in his mouth though, the memory sweet in his mind as his wolf side had taken the kill.
