Summary:
Past:
Faye awoke in the snow. Her hair was matted with ice, as the snow had melted against her warm head and frozen again, trapping the black strands in an icy prison. She opened her eyes, and was greeted by the sight of millions of intricate snowflakes dancing in the air above her. She sat up quickly, but almost immediately regretted it. A hot flash of pain tore against the back of her head, so she pressed a hand to it. It came away covered in blood. She stared at the alien substance on her fingers. What had caused this? Faye swiveled her head in all directions, scanning her surroundings. Where was she? She could not remember anything. Her eyes filled with tears in panic. Who was she? She knew her own name, but what was a name without a personality to follow it? She spoke the comforting syllables of her name quietly to herself, telling herself that she needed to get her act together.
Faye woke up not knowing who she was, or where she came from. She did not know that she had been in a fight in her wolf form with a rogue. She no longer knew anything. Luckily, a pair of friendly werelings took her in and acted as her adoptive parents and taught her again who she was, as a human and as a wolf. She joined these two when she was 15, and lived with them 2 years before running away to pursue life on her own. She had been taught to see the good within all, but she grew increasingly angry as the years passed. Angry at mankind for their ignorance, angry at the world for its injustice, and most of all angry at herself for not being able to remember. She no longer had anywhere to go, so amused herself with the terrorizing and then murder of simple humans. She loved to lure men into her trap. It was easy after all, with her looks. She didn't really seek to join any pack until she discovered that there is one based in the city.
Human Form:
Faye has a beautiful hourglass figure, with a beautiful face that has soft, large lips. Her eyes are a haunting ice blue, which are very shocking when paired with her black hair that shines beautifully in the sunlight. Her skin is pale and flawless. Her legs are long and well built. She moves with an effortless grace, and is the envy of many girls around her. She usually wears her long hair in a braid, but when she takes it out, it falls in heavy, pleasantly citrus-scented waves. One of her worst habits is tapping her fingers constantly on any surface. She often wears an amused, sly smile, but otherwise has a fairly serious expression. She loves to run, both in human and wolf form, but obviously in public she runs as a human. Faye still has a scar just underneath her hairline on her neck from the fight with the rouge that took her memory.
Wolf Form:
Faye's wolf form is just as impressive as her human form, if not more so. She is nine feet tall at the shoulders, and a beautiful shimmering gray and black mix that fades to white on her legs and belly. Her eyes are the same sparkling blue that they are in her human form, and have a very piercing gaze. She is outfitted in impressive lean muscle, surprisingly strong for a female. She is a pureblood, but she does not know who her parents are. The scar from her human form also carries to her wolf form. She is an expert at hunting her prey, from spending years alone.
Personality:
Faye appears extremely arrogant and nonchalant when you first meet her, but quickly becomes very loyal to those she feels she can trust. She is incredibly intelligent and witty. She seems to think that everything needs a healthy dose of sarcasm. She can use her charms extremely well when needed, and shows no mercy towards most men. For some reason she has a deep connection to all children, and becomes very gentle in their presence. She loves the water, and often spends time by it, because she feels it has seen more than we can imagine.
Example Post:
Faye splashed cold water on her face, and looked up to study her dripping face in the chipped mirror. She spoke to herself now, a stern look in her sharp blue eyes. "C'mon now, Faye," she said. "Stop being such a careless idiot. You cannot afford to be caught again. You will not manage to escape." She shook her head and turned away from the offending reflection, snatching a towel off of the hook just beside her. She buried her face in the soft cloth, imagining that she could feel every square millimeter of the material soaking the water off of her face. Mornings, she thought, are really not my thing. She hung the towel in its place once again. She shut off the lights and turned the doorknob of the bathroom door. She stepped outside and quickly pulled on a pair of jeans and a tightly fitted black t-shirt laying on the floor from another day. Her combat boots stood in their place beside the door frame. She yanked them on carelessly, eager to get outside.
As she locked the door behind her, she took a deep breath of the warm spring air surrounding her. She could detect everything, the flowers just budding, the warm, turned up soil and the sharp, cool scent of the creek. But there was one more...
Her head snapped up from its neutral position. Faye took another deep breath. No. Please, no. She jogged down the road from her house, following her nose. Blood. It was a scent that could not not be mixed up with any other. Her senses were engineered to detect it. But this wasn't any ordinary blood. That much Faye knew. Human blood had a distinct metallic smell to it. She knew this- she spilled it constantly. This was wereling blood. The smell made her stomach churn, and it grew stronger with every loping stride she took. She murmured under her breath and slowed to a walk. She was close. Every nerve in her body stood at the ready, alerting her of the danger ahead. Her skin seemed to crackle with electricity. The source was just around the corner now. She turned slowly and as her eyes met the horror before her, she sank to her knees and stared. What more could she do?
Two werelings- one male, one female, were tangled in a final embrace, surrounded by a dark stain, their eyes open in an expression of terror, both hearts gone. Faye cried out in pain. She had been separated from her kind for years, but the grisly scene before her eyes was too much. She knew what killing looked like. But this was no quick death. This had been brutal. A lump had formed in her throat, and she fought to swallow it.
