Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

1 I Miss You (Noctavia/Private) on Mon Dec 30, 2013 10:23 am

It had taken little time for the Warrior to get adjusted to living among the other wolves. He had little wish to meet any of them before he got to speak his mind with Noctavia. It was true he told her he would not keep his emotions aired out to the world, but she had to know the truth, the whole truth. When they were at the border, he had feared unwanted guests would join them, or interrupt their tender conversation. He was saving it for a time when he knew they would not be disturbed. The perfect place to have said meeting would be within either of their rooms and since she was not coming to his, then he would go to hers. He had heard the "Alpha" was away for whatever reason. Axel knew that things between them were no more, he knew that she was with a new wolf and he would have to get over it. It would not be easy, but he could at least be around her. He could make her safe from an outside view. He would be her hidden protector. If any wolf crossed her, if any wolf did wrong against Noctavia, then he would intercept. It was obvious the Alpha was not present much, he had left her alone for quite some time. Axel was a provider. He was there for her in the years they spent together. He would never truly leave her. Making himself look presentable, he stared at his reflection through the mirror. He styled his hair the same way he had since breaking out of prison. When he was finally ready, he left the privacy of his dwelling, heading down the hall to the elevator. As he made his way to the double steel doors, he pressed the button to the top floor. Making his way out of the elevator, he walked to her room. As he neared the door, his eyes looked around, while his nose scented for the Alpha. It was apparent the brute had been here, but was gone for a while. Clearing his throat, he knocked on the door and waited for her to answer. He hoped he would not find her at an unfavorable time, yet the wolf inside snickered and wished the opposite. Though Axel knew the truth of their relationship, how it stood, how he was in her eyes. He was a long time friend, but the wolf thought otherwise. The midnight fae had loved him deeply and would continue to, whether she left it out in the open, or held it as a secret.

The room had been clouded with steam, ridden over by the sounds to what came from the running water that poured from the overhead faucet above the female's head. It sent it's rivers to glide along her skin and ease into the muscles and scars that embedded her flesh, soothing herself to close her eyes and relax. Now that Axel had not followed her as quickly after in the alley to her resides and unpacked his belongings beforehand, it gave her enough peace and quiet to enjoy before getting really into detail with the situation. There were lots of things the two could talk about, the people they've met, how things have changed. Both little and big things, she thought. She didn't know what to think of it all now that the male had returned, but one thing was for sure, and that was that she still missed him. It was not love, that wasn't it, or at least anymore it wasn't. ...You're in denial... Her wolves stirred within her mind and she shivered at the rippling tingles that shifted along the columns of her spine. She glared sideways into the shower's wall, as if the wolves were hovering over her shoulders and towering down at her till she'd confess, ..In denial of what exactly?... There's nothing left for the male to take.. our heart is promised to Daiken.. Noctavia sternly retorted, only providing a echoed scoff at the back of her mind from the wolves within them.

Lacing her fingers behind her head, she took in a large breath, expanding her rips outwards as her lungs were filled with steam-filled air and released silently from her lips to calm. It was bad enough that Axel's presence made her uneasy, but her counterpart was worse to cause headaches. Noctavia tilted her head up directly under the faucet, allowing the water to sputter over her face until she wiped it away with both of her hands to be caressed down her long obsidian lochs. As she turned off the shower, she stepped out, grabbing a neatly folded towel to be wrapped around her small frame before she lifted her chin to the sound of a knock on her door, "Shit," she said from out from under her breath. Her hand clutched at the material hiding a majority of her chest, using the over to cross over her stomach so that there was a weight on the towel to keep it closed around her. Craning her neck out of the door, she bit her lip and ran silently into her walk-in-closet for safety, calling over her shoulder to signal that he could come in, "Door is unlocked!" She turned to shut her closet door slightly to air out the heat, looking around for the temperature knob until she realized it was out in the living room. Huffing, Noctavia shook it off and dropped her towel, placing her hands on her bare hips before finally throwing on a simple white and black NIRVANA shirt and a pair of black, green stripped pajama shorts underneath. The reason behind the clothes was because she didn't care. It was way too late to put on any clothes unless she was headed out again, which was quite slim since she already had the chance when the warrior showed up at her borders. He had already seen her plentiful of times in the past where such clothing, so what was the point?

As she fixed her hair in the mirror at the back of the closet, the Alphess trained her ears to hear the sound of his feet walking inside. When she was done, she nodded to the mirror and finally walked out to greet him, "Took you long enough." She replied in a bitter tone, turning away from the male to make a cup of coffee for herself as it was beginning to be almost early morning. Placing her hands around the warm cup, she smoothed back a hand through her wet hair and looked to him out of the corner of her emerald eyes. Where to begin, "What all have you been up to since you escaped? I'd assume you'd still want to be under the radar, even if for how long it's been since then." Taking a small sip, Noctavia moved over to his side and settled herself peacefully on the long leather couch at the living room's center, crossing her legs underneath her to sit before peering back to him, "And how did you escape anyway?" Her tone of voice lightened slightly with the fact that she was a little interested in the male's whereabouts and whatnots. Had they of been separated for so long, much has happened. Hopefully at the end of this conversation, they'd at least be equal and happy with what has become of them.

Almost abruptly he was allowed entrance to her private quarters. This gave him a smile, though he could not immediately see her. Her scent pulled his eyes towards a small creak between the door and the frame. His silver gaze looked through the small separated piece, eying the Alphess in her personal space. Her body was as beautiful as ever. Even with the small creature leeching off her form, she was a goddess among humans and wolves alike. He had been so lucky to be with her in the past, so fortunate to have known her for many years. His eyes quickly averted to the things among the room. Of course she had the finest furniture and things all around. Once she finally presented herself to him, he looked up to her. She looked just as beautiful fully clothes as she did naked. The shirt was far too loose, but sexy in it's own way. He remembered waking up to her, dressed in his own t-shirts. Her hair was a lovely mess, a reminder from their night of passion. But here she stood, mated to another man, carrying his evil seed. No matter what she felt for him, or he for her, he would keep her safe and the ones she loved. "Sorry, this place is like a maze, especially once you try and follow your scent. It is like following a crazy drunk human who's had too much to drink, your scent is all over the place," he chuckled.

"It's a rather long story, but I did promise you an explanation of my disappearance." Moving to sit on her couch, he leaned back, resting his shoulders against the cushions. "The night they took me away from you, that was the worst perhaps. I never wanted to leave your side. But that night they did horrible, unspeakable things to me. They feared me, were afraid I was going to snap and kill them as well. So they kept me pretty guarded for a while, but they got lazy. They dwindled their numbers around my cell. It was simple really. I could break the bars the whole time. And every night I would write to you, professing my love and promises of what our lives would be together once I got out. On a dark night, I could see the moon was full, filled with enchantment and wonder. The wolf wished to explore it, to feel the light shining on him once more. I could not stop him. I allowed him to take over. The first guard was easy. He was sleeping outside my cell. After breaking the lock, I moved to the doorway, removing the door from the hinges. The cell mates around me, started clamoring and making all kinds of noise. This did not wake the first guard, but it did alert others. I killed him in his sleep. The second and third guards came after me with guns and tasers. But their weapons did not work. I killed them with ease, allowing the wolf to feast on their live flesh. Soon a swarm of guards came and I submitted, not wishing to cause anymore trouble. My first attempt was not the best. It was then they discovered they needed higher security for me. I was forced to move to another prison, and still I wrote to you. I sent tons of thousands of letters to you and never got a reply back. I will admit, for a time my heart grew cold and wicked. I wished to destroy everything I could. I thought you hated me, or no longer loved me. When I finally broke out of the maximum security facility, I killed many humans. Guards, prisoners, anyone who got in my way." Taking a momentary pause, he looked to her, gauging how she was taking his story. Taking the cup from her gentle hands, he sipped from it and handed it back with a smile. "Mmm, delicious roast. But you always did have good taste," he joked as he looked about the room.

"I roamed for years, searching for anywhere that would come to America. I tried to sneak onto large tankers, fueling ships, transport ships. But nothing every truly worked out quite right. It was not until I was patrolling a dock just a few miles from the very place you once called home. It was there I met two humans, Gus and Kinsley. They were very kind to me, and of course I acted the same towards them. They offered me a ride to the states, as long as I helped with care of the boat, made meals and cleaned. We spent a very long time on the water, traveling across the ocean, living through the worst of storms. It changed our course, causing us to land in South America. They gave me the option to ride with them once they could repair the ship and head up north, but I refused the trip. If I was going to make it there quickly, I would have to go the journey alone. I sometimes regret my decision. I was then I allowed the wolf to spring from its eternal prison for long periods of time. We bonded in this fashion, now I shift as often as I can, if it is appropriate. He speaks his own mind and causes his own turmoils. I lived among the natives, learning their language and getting enough of their language to move easily about their lands. In one small village, I discovered the art of sword fighting. I did so for many years, working on my physique and health. If I was to find you, I would look my very best, be in the best shape of my life. When I finally ventured over the Gulf of Mexico, I landed in Texas. The 'white man' as they were called attacked the natives, trying to take their land away by force. It just so happened the villagers were werewolves like you and I. They spoke an ancient language, one I did not. Luckily a few members spoke Spanish, having heard it from the settlers. I helped the wolves in their fight for what seemed like ages. But then again, time away from you feels like centuries being locked in a dark cell, sitting in my solitude. When I finally left and came to New York, I had this feeling deep in my heart that I would find you again. That I would see those eyes, and that perfect smile once more."

She scoffed, "Well it is my pack after all, it should have my scent to linger upon every wall and corner, if not, I'm afraid that is a problem that'll have to be fixed." As he spoke, Noctavia payed close attention to what he had to say and how he thoroughly explained the wise attempts and major fails in trying to escape free of the concrete forsaken walls. Her brows narrowed as he spoke of sending her letters, what letters? The wolves within her mind growled at the male inside her mind, calming them to hush while they spoke with snide comments to one another and thought that he was lying. But Noctavia knew a compulsive liar when she saw one, and Axel was definitely not one of them. He never lied to her, especially her on a personal level, though she would not be surprised as to how he would be able to managed that out of him from being gone so long. Perhaps he had changed and she did not see it like she did with others, or maybe she was correct to believe that he was telling the truth. Locking her eyes onto him as he took her cup for a small sip before handing it back to her, she internally did not mind it, but on the outside she arched a curious brow and rolled her eyes, "You can make your own. The coffee pot is over there, nimrod." Nodding her head towards the kitchen counter, there lay the machine filled halfway with newly brewed coffee inside. She could smell it from here, it's bitter aroma piling into her strong sense of smell as she looked over him carefully, "Too bad you won't be seeing much of that winning smile any more. I rarely ever smile now-a-days, if not look up from my work. You're lucky to even have my patience at this hour." Little sinister-like laughs roared in her head together like a chorus would when they'd sing, knitting the darkness with their humor and finding themselves internally pleased with their owner's words.

A smirk twitched at the corner of her lips as she tried helplessly to keep it from curling into a broad, amused smile. Licking her lip from the taste of caffeine, Noctavia removed a small strand of her black hair that irritatingly liked to fall over one of her eyes, tucking it safely over her ear like she had done numerously before when leaning in her seat. Craning her neck forwards, she thought over his words and sighed deeply, "I do have to say this, I'm glad to see at least someone of my dwelling past has finally decided to show up with a sense of knowledge. All I ever get around here is stupidity, or younger werelings, if not sometimes a bit of potential to be thrown around. As for my lower superior males, and female, Elite Melissa, I've found them quite fitting for their ranks and feel they are doing a fine job so far. In order for you to find that rank you so desperately seek to find, you must spar with another. Only then you will claim it, but I'm more concerned on something else about what you've said.." Her hand moved up to her neck as she spoke, rubbing over the tender muscle that knotted beneath the skin and caused her joint to stiffen. She groaned softly at the slight pain, rolling her head forwards in the attempt to feel that joyous pop and loosening up the knot so she'd feel at least a little better than before, "The letters.." She began, keeping her hand there as she paused to look up at him with a curious-filled green gaze, "I don't recall receiving any letters or actually any sign of notification that you were alive. Where we lived at the time, I was always home, and never did I see a letter come in with your writing, nor even a signature to know that it came from you. In the time of your disappearance, I stayed in our house so myself for the majority until I realized you would never return. People had said they thought that you were a dead man, so I fled and went to America alone. Since then I've just been doing what I've done all my life. Did I miss you, yeah, in all truth, I did, but I got over it," At that, she simply shrugged and frowned at him, leaning away with her head against the back of the couch as her legs stretched across the couch to rest on his lap, "Went back to school once I worked up the enough money and got a job. Worked my ass off to get this far, and now I'm a wealthy business owner that owns almost an eighth of Manhattan. Then when things settled and I was able to be on my own for a while, I put my goal up and made connections across the nearest states that I was collecting and regrouping werelings to join my pack. Now.. well, I have the largest and most powerful packs in all of New York asides from my family, wherever they are now. Wouldn't surprise me if they moved out of the country now that they now my progress. Which reminds me, I found out I have a half sister and that my mother is dead, not that she really matters. Mother was always a poor sight and disappointment for leading the pack, but Father isn't what one would nominate as Father of the Year." Letting out a loud groan, Noctavia closed her eyes and reopened them to meet the ceiling, tilting her head to look at him as she took another drink of her coffee.

After giving his whole story to her, he seemed to be slightly confused with her reaction. "Why so hostile, Noctavia? Surely I did not do something so terrible to receive this kind of return from you. Yes, I was gone and I am back now. I was hoping to see a little of the woman who used to love me. I understand you are with child and that you have a stand-up great guy to support you, or whatever. If I cannot have you, which you are making crystal clear, then my only wish is to be close to you, as a friend. That is all I ask." He looked to her, looking over her body and remembering something he had heard about pregnant women and caffeine. "Should you really be drinking something like that? Why not some orange or grape juice instead?" he asked as he got up to look inside the refrigerator. "Who knows what caffeine will do to a your wolf's mind, it might make them just as crazy as you," he joked as he grabbed the container of orange juice and searched her kitchen for a glass, opening and closing cupboards until he found them. "So this 'Elite' position. What do you do as said rank, and who owns it now? I think I would not be doing you justice if I just sat idly by and did not allow the pack to know what I know." Coming back to her side, he took the mug from her hands and replaced it with glass of juice. "Noctavia, I could not begin to tell you just how many letters I wrote you. Did you ever try and contact me? Did you ever send postage my way?" he was curious of her answer, slightly worried he knew what she would say. "Well, I doubt I need to tell you of my feelings anymore. Seems you don't wish to hear such nonsense anyway.." He walked to the window, staring outside to the night sky. He watched as the cars moved at a snail pace before the light shifted to green. Humans shuttled themselves on foot, running, walking, and jogging at this late hour to who knew where. As his eyes studied them, his ears were focused on the Alphess. "A sister? What is her name? Any relative of Noctavia's is surely one I must meet, that is, if she is even here." He gave her a soft grin. His eyes looked to her adoringly, though trying their hardest not to be subjective. Axel did care for the Alphess, he always had, but it was obvious she no longer cared for him. "She only speaks words of ill nature towards you... Why even stay?" Axel thought amongst himself and the wolf, "I cannot... I swore if I found her, I would never leave again, no matter what."

"As I have told you, I've changed since our separation. I grew desperate to find you and then gave up when nothing came flying back in the spite of actually freeing you from the prison. That woman you loved is no more, for she loves another as you've been replaced. I shall not treat you like I had before. You're a warrior, under my ranks and along with the rest I will treat you just as I am with them. Nothing more. The only pride I have left for you is the training and age on your shoulders. Want to be my friend, then start acting like it instead of the fuddy duddy love bullshit to try and make me look the other way." Noctavia flashed a bright emerald gaze over him, reminding her inner thoughts to cool down before she could continue. Her teeth began to sharpen behind her lips, elongating slowly as her emotions gradually rose in temperature. Her eyes glared up at him as he so dared to take away her mug, "Relax, warrior, it's decaffeinated. I may not know much about pregnancy nor have had a child before, but I'm not a moron when it comes to the little things like what I can and can't eat or drink. The friendly gesture of the glass is not needed." Noctavia took the glass of orange liquid away from him anyway, and put it on the coffee-table, not at all bothered to even pick it up for a taste. He was starting to be a real pain in her ass and the voices could do nothing else but to agree and secretly wish that her mate was here to endeavor in the presence of her once was to be mate. The Alphess shook her head grimly at him and leaned back against the couch's arm, "Looks like someone's lost their touch in remembering all about me, as you would know I hate grape juice and it's not wolf's, it's wolves' mind. Plural, remember? Hadn't I told you that there was more than once voice in my head?" There were only two people that she had directly told about the multiple voices, and she knew one of them was Axel, as he had been the first ever to hear her story, the complete version, that is.

"As for my sister, she is one of the leading Doctors of the pack, her name is Vitani. She is but only a few hundred years lesser than I, yet several more than you, so I would suggest you be on your best behavior when meeting her, if you ever do. Like any of our family, she was trained properly and is not afraid to punch some sense into a lowly warrior like you. If you wish to meet her so badly, you can contact her through one of the hotel phone books or perhaps in person in the Doctor's office upon the lower floors nearer to the lobby. The Elite position has been granted to Damian Arevalo. You can find him on the third to last floor from the top I would believe, if not the next floor down." Making herself slightly more comfortable over the couch, she let out a long yawn and rubbed under her tired eyes. The night had felt to of dawned on forever, and already she could see dark purples and lavenders bordering the city buildings as it was turning to sunrise. It made her wonder where all the time had been swept away and what was she doing with it precisely. Her stomach wrenched with hunger, causing slight changes in her cheek bones and lips to give away hints to what she felt. Only then did a small rumble in her shrivel up and roar out into the open silence, sighing in defeat as she knew that he could hear it.

"As I already stated, you shall not hear anything of that nature from me. I got the message loud and clear. I made a promise to myself and I will not break it." Axel looked to her for a moment, then back out to the city streets. "You want something to eat? I am famished," he said as he moved from the window towards the kitchen. Opening the pantry, he saw a loaf of bread and many cans of food. His eyes trailed back to the bread, grabbing it and walking towards the counter. "So other than starting your own pack, what else have you been up to?" he asked as he looked into the refrigerator. Opening the door, he peered in, looking at all the shelves and even the door. There was truly nothing of interest to him, so he walked back to the pantry. There he saw two jars of peanut butter. One was chunky and the other smooth. He smiled as he thought of her, listening to her as she answered him. Grabbing the chunky jar, he walked back to the counter and spun off the top. As he was going to look for a knife, his eyes caught sight of a bunch of bananas resting on the counter. Wrapping his hand around one, he pulled it from the others. As he began to peel, he called out to her "so this Damian character, what's he like? Do you think he deserves the rank he holds? I mean, I know you gave it to him, but surely you could find another who is more qualified for such job, than he is." Axel took the fruit from its wrapping, placing it on the counter. He looked around the cupboards, opening and closing doors as he searched for a plate. Finally finding one, he placed it down. As he opened the bag, he put two slices of bread on it. Next he had to find the damn knives. As he scanned the counter, he found a nice collection of them resting within the slots of a bamboo block. He chuckled as he thought of using a butcher's knife instead of a mere butter knife.

Opening and closing drawers, he finally discovered the location of the plain silverware. Taking out the perfect butter knife, he walked back to his work station. Dipping the knife in the jar of peanut butter, he watched as it clung to it, the peanuts nestled deep in the spread. Pressing it to the bread, he smeared it over the entire area. Once he had a sufficient amount of peanut butter, he started slicing the banana into little pieces. He laid them onto the butter in the shape of a smile face. He smiled down to it briefly and then covered the rest with the remaining slices. Closing the sandwich by placing the other piece of bread on top, he cut the sandwich diagonally down the middle. He walked over to her in the living room and handed her the plate, "I made your favorite." He smiled to her and rubbed his palms together, moving back to the kitchen to make food for himself.

As Noctavia looked at the sandwich, her stomach then growled again, but she wasn't too worried on her hunger at the moment, only the food in his hand. Her mouth opened slightly to reject, though nothing came out. She took the sandwich lightly and stared at it a while as she heard him behind her retreat back to the kitchen to make himself something as well. The female glanced over her shoulder to see him for a quick second, fathoming the idea on how he could still remember the little things like that and then smile slightly to herself as she returned back to the sandwich to take a large bite. "Thank you.." She mumbled stubbornly while fidgeting in her seat to sit as her legs were beginning to fall asleep. Sighing, she finally got up and limped around to relieve the pain in her one leg till it was soon shaken off to feel the blood begin to circulate back to normal. Her bare feet were cold as they touched the kitchen floor and leaned against the stairway as she watched him make the food, "Lots have happened in the many years you've been gone. It'd be difficult to explain it all, asides from leaving the ill events for which you will or will not care for most. Meaning how I fell for another, and what not. I'll try to leave those parts out, unless you wish to hear those as well." Noctavia smirked slightly, chewing on another bite of the banana and peanut butter spread sandwich, "As for the moment, I've just been kinda roaming freely and trying to get rid as of much stress as I possibly can with being gone from work for so long. Feels strange being this useless right now, actually, when I have nothing to do but sit in here." Shrugging, she looked to him with a faint emerald gaze and sighed again.

If it weren't for him coming to her suite at such a boring time, she wouldn't have any other choice but to sleep or probably beat another game for the thousandth time. Ryker had told her repetitively that she should be getting rest, but she refused. She couldn't sleep and right now, being that Daiken was gone, she could barely eat. "Damian has been one of the few first werelings to join my pack. I met him in Rapture, a place I found quite rare for my time to be spending as you know I'm not a fan of crowds... or people in general. It was just the fact I found him there that makes it special to know I have him as an Elite today. He's wise, but a little cocky for his age if you ask me. Mutt, from what I sensed at first hand. Still quite young.. but everyone is young to me these days. Even you." Raising her brows slightly as she finished, Noctavia walked nearer to his side and rested her elbow on the counter, tilting her cheek to rest in the pit of her palm with a blank expression on her face, "I'm so tired..." At that moment, all feeling had left her and she no longer cared as to why Axel was here or even if he still cared for her like before. She was wearing thin, and for once, she was exhausted. Coffee never did her justice, after all, and it showed. She groaned and lightly leaned a little of her weight against his warm side while her head began to droop along her forearms.

Finishing the final touches to his sandwich, he began to eat it, turning around so his back was resting against the counter. Holding the two pieces of bread in his hands, he looked to her as he took a large bite. "Noctavia, I know you have a life outside the one we shared together. If you wish to tell me it, I am very curious as to how this male had taken my place. I'm not saying I am the best, but I know I am damn near close to it." He gave a chuckle as he ate more of his meal. He didn't mind eating a sandwich with her. She was precious to him, eating dirt would be a blessing as long as she was with him, or laughing at his foolish display. He loved her laugh, wishing he could hear it again. But for now, he could tell she was tired. It was obvious. He recalled the times she would fall asleep on his arm, forcing it to get the painful yet tingly sensation. They would cuddle together, watching TV until the sun peeped through the windows to wake them from their pleasant slumber. It was in these times he would smell her hair, imprinting her scent to his memory, never letting it go. His hands would rub her skin gently, letting her know in her slumber that he was there and would never leave her. He often wished these times had never passed, that he had been able to control the wolf that night. The wolf itself snarled angrily, fueled by the loss of the wolf he loved. His heart hardened, trying to get Axel to feel the same feeling, but he could not. Axel loved Noctavia, and even though she wished not to see it, he would never stop.

"Well I guess I shall be informing you now. Damian and I shall have words, perhaps more so than just that. I hope you do not mind, though I think this mutt needs to be tested. I shall handle the task myself, but do not be sad if he finds himself void of Elite ranking. Oh,and need you not worry, I shall not kill him. I might bruise his pride a little, if he has any." He smirked as he finished the last remnants to his snack. After leaving the dwelling of his Alphess, he would make his way to the city streets. Hopefully a place would be open, serving a decent hot dog. He looked to her, watching her features as her eyes became heavy, her chin sunk into the palm of her hand. "Noctavia, I feel you should perhaps head to the bed. But in your condition, I feel I should at least aid my Alphess in finding her bed." Moving closer to her, he opened his arms, looking to her with a look, waiting for her approval or denial. Once she approved, he lifted her into his arms, cradling her in his as if he and she were just married and he was prepared to carry her over the threshold. He looked around the place, seeing no sign of a bed, but he did notice the stairs. It couldn't hurt to check out her new place of living. As he walked up the stairs, he held her close. Even with her pregnancy, she still felt almost weightless within his grasp. His eyes rolled over her features, looking to her, watching as the shadows played against her skin, just as he wished he could have. When they reached the top of the stairs, he moved towards the bed. The sheets had been made, as always. Noctavia loved when the bed was made, or at least, she had when they lived together. There was something about fresh pressed sheets, something he never understood. Lying her down, she laid on her side. Axel could not help himself. "Alphess, if you do not mind... I would like to lie beside you, one last time. I promise no funny business of the sort, just giving me closure to our long history. If you do not wish it, I shall leave you to your slumber. But should you accept my offer, I shall leave after you fall asleep."

She nodded to the accepting of taking her into his arms, letting him do all the work as she could not, wrapping her arms around his shoulders until he finally lifted her up. Noctavia sighed into his shoulder, leaving her eyes slowly shut in the moments it took for him to finally reach her bedside to lay her gently down. She looked to him from an angle on her side, listening to his words to what he had to say and then peering away as she thought of them. The wolves within were restless and tried to find comfort in the idea, switching left and right to find the right or wrong answer whether to what they knew not. Torn were they in deciding - was it wrong to lie appropriately with another man while her mate for eternity was gone, or would it be fine? Noctavia did not know, but she was willing to test it and knew for herself that she found comfort in the arms of his, just as she did over hundreds of years ago when they were together, "Just this once, only if your word is promised, I'll allow it." she said in a low-soft tone, scooting over on her bed for him to lay down and curling under the covers against his side. His scent rushed over her and filled her insides to the very brim with bitter delight. She had almost forgotten what it was liked to be held so warmly by another now that Daiken had been gone for a while, but now she could remember, and slightly feel her lips curl as she nuzzled into his broad shoulder, "I had met Daiken, my mate when getting my tattoos recolored one night. It had to of been summer, if not earlier by the time, and I had been struck bored with being stuck in my room. Ryker, a dear friend to me, and my Beta has been wishing me to get out and get some air, but I refused. It was not worth my time until it really mattered most." She shrugged, taking a breath before continuing, "When he had come inside, I had no intentions of meeting the loner, at the time, and he smelt of Braveheart, the recent enemy of mine that had perished and divided. He had suggested I get a tattoo on my hip, and I told him if he could impress me by drawing me up an outline as to what the design would look like, I would get it. Before I knew it, my eyes were mesmerized by this, and I was already laying down in the chair having it put on." Noctavia chuckled, lifting up her shirt to see the black ink embedded into her skin of her right hipbone.

Before his eyes she revealed the tribal imprint of a wolf's black skull, a raven just above it with it's clawed talons locked inside the bone's eye sockets where a simple black rose was snapped between the wolf's clenched teeth. It was a remarkable tattoo, to what she cherished and will forevermore love for the rest of her life now that it held meaning to her. It made her smile, then fade as she missed her mate so dearly the warmer Axel's side was to her. She sighed and continued again to what she was saying, "After that, he had taken me to Finaqua, where we hunted together and then parted out separate ways. He had originally wanted to go with Braveheart, but as a wise loner would when meeting me, his opinion changed, and he did it to be a warrior of my ranks. He has taken me on many, many dates, and on my birthday he gave me an emerald and diamond necklace. I had it changed in his absence to fit my daily attire and finalized it to a neat amulet you see around my neck, here." Her hand touched the single emerald stone that hung from it's thread around her neck, bringing him up to see before putting it back down as she spoke, "He had not bought me with gifts, for I had told him that, but when we danced together that night of another year to add upon my shoulders, I never thought I could feel so happy again. He made me feel like a young wereling again, and still does. And on our last date, we shared our first kiss and he wished be a polite goodnight before dipping back to his duties. The fact he was patient with me, and took so much time out of his day to know me more above the rest was what made be love him and fall so fast. It still surprises me to this day as to how I got my head wrapped around all of it.. He purposed to me in the winter, weeks before he left at Wonderland, and on the night before his trip, we finally made love. And now, I'm left to be here, and wait for his return as I have news of his child inside me. I fear he will not accept it, as I don't know whether I should or not, to tell you the truth, it's so difficult being alone in such a vulnerable time..." Her happiness then disappeared with the rest of the color in her eyes, fading to a light green, an almost grey color as she looked down to her hands. It felt strange reliving her past and telling him so much of what she had been through with the male instead of waiting for him. But if he wished to know, then so be it, she told him.

Shivers crawled up her skin and the whispers rose up from the darkness in her corrupted mind....Show him what you've learned... Out of the blue, the emerald fire burned back up as an idea struck in her head due to the voices' suggestion. Noctavia glanced from the side of her vision to catch the sparkle hued in his titanium eyes before scooting out from the covers to sit up against the bedpost, "I did learn something while you were gone, and that was power. Ha, an old Elite, the one that Damian replaced had taught me a precious skill I don't think could be any better than having wereling strength." She chuckled, keeping her laughs short to point to the end of the bed, "Watch." the Alphess whispered into his ear, leaning on him in her seat as she looked forwards to think of what she would create. Rolling her eyes, she thought she'd make the background a bit more cliche and make him believe it was just 'magic'. She held out her hand in front of her mouth and blew into her palm, projecting a wind of sparkled dust to fly off her fingers from no where and into the air surrounding the bed. The room went dark under her command, warping the room into what appear to be a stone cell, bars attached from the floor to the ceiling, cobwebs draping from every corner. She added the loud noises of criminals in the darkness, picturing an exact replica of Axel within the lonesome cell strapped to the ground with chains. He was shirtless, something she found very sexy as she morphed his body to ripple against the restrains keeping him down and unable to change because of the beast. She knew what it was like to feel trapped, as she was on the night of her first shift. Flashing her eyes to the image, her wolves within growled and erupted their snarls to project Axel's beastly red soul trying to reach out of him to get free, thrashing it's claws into the air around the trapped man's chest and head to make it look like the criminal was fighting himself from the inside out.

What do you think.. she asked through to the mind, holding the image easily still.

11 Re: I Miss You (Noctavia/Private) on Tue Jan 07, 2014 6:55 pm

Listening to her speak, even about her new lover, was all he wished for. He could listen to her for hours, like he had when they were young in their love. He would listen to her talk and talk, never asking her to stop or even wishing that she would. He loved watching her talk, the way her eyes would light up as she spoke of something she utterly enjoyed, or even loved. She once spoke of him that way. But as he lied down to cuddle beside her, he watched her talk closely. His eyes lingered on her facial features, while his hand moved to her face, moving the stray hairs that covered her beautiful face, putting them back behind her ear. His silver hues watched her lips, they were plump and juicy as he had always thought of them. Her nose was adorable as ever, twitching slightly as she spoke certain words. But it was her eyes which struck him. As she spoke of her building love with the other male, the Alpha she called her mate, her eyes began to glow and were filled with cheer. She loved that male, but surely he knew you could love two people in the same existence. At this time, he was uncertain if she loved him any longer. He loved the feeling of heat which rested between their embrace. A tender hand ran over her arm, moving to clasp her hand in his. It was not in a flirtatious or sexual manner, just as friends, leaning on one another in their time of need. "Enough already.. If you love her, remind her of the wonderful things you can give her, of the moves you never forgot.." the wolf had finally chimed in. His eyes looked to the wolf across from him, licking his chops, wishing he could bust from the meat cage and take the Alphess how he had ultimately wished. She continued on their dates, though he had not cared about what she spoke of, unless it was about he and her. "Several dates and then he got a first kiss? Pathetic, I tell you.. Remember the first night you two met?" his voice was somber, alluring as if he was trying to change the manner of how things were currently, shifting the mood into something the beast truly desired. "The lust and intimacy that came from the very first night... I remember it just like.." Quickly Axel cut off the wolf, stopping his sentence in a dead halt. He growled internally, all the while keeping and cool and calmed look on his face. His eyes never left Noctavia. "I love her, and because I do, we cannot engage in activities that you want to, no matter how you wish. If she wanted me anymore, she would make the first move. I shall not." When she spoke of being vulnerable, he tightened his grasp on her hand. "Now that I am here, you will never be alone. You can always find me, if ever you need me."

With the changing of her position, he watched her. As she whispered into his ear, the wolf stirred, wishing to show Axel that he was correct all along. But he watched her even closer. Her face changed and her eyes, they were not the same. Soon a darkness fell over the room, forcing Axel to look left from right. The lights seemed to disappear and a fake light came in through a new window decorated in titanium bars. Before the image was even completed, he knew what this was. He knew this place. Looking around the room, an image finally appeared before them. It was a man, chained to the floor, his clothes almost non existent. His shirt was gone completely, and it was then the beast looked up. Axel stared at the male, watching his movements as he tried to break the binds of the chains. He saw the pain in the male's eyes, he saw the hurt and the blood which stained his skin. The lashings were very visible, almost fresh. The image seemed almost real, as if this was what Axel looked like all those years he was chained up in the jails and prisons the humans had made especially for his kind. The wolf snarled and growled loudly as it shifted back and forth, trying to get out, to stop the memories from flooding his eyes. Axel found himself moving to the edge of the bed. Tears streamed down his face, resting on his lap. He watched the pain he endured for years right before his eyes. His hands trembled and his breathing was labored. He tried his hardest to contain himself, to stop himself from crying in front of her. But it was because of this memory, this event, he lost her. Clearing his face with a hand, his eyes stared at the image. "It's a neat trick, definitely one of great use. What does it target?" He did not turn to face her, just staring at the wall until she forced it away.

With a sweep of her mind and a dimming to her eyes, the image snapped to reveal the same room she had been in for at most fifteen years or more. The sound of tears made her break away from the imagery, facing her attention to turn to him with discomfort as she had not intentioned to make him feel remorse for leaving her. Moving to his side at the end of the bed, Noctavia wrapped her arms around him and rubbed his back to try and sooth his pain away. Her wolves did what they could to ease him back to his normal state and curled around him like she would have done if in the other suit, "It's supposed to be used as a distraction, and if known of the person you're fighting's history, it can be used on them to make them feel just as you would. They'd become vulnerable and easy to take down, simple, really." She replied, referring to the display she had done to make him to bit of interested into what she had been doing most of her time. It was probably the only thing that kept her from going mad in the boredom Daiken left her in. Luckily for her, only Ryker had learned to master the skill from her, and a bit of her Delta male to follow. As she moved to have her thighs matched with his, her hands went directly to caress his angular jaw gently, pulling his eyes to face hers as she leaned in to kiss his forehead. Her thumbs stroked slowly over his stained cheeks to rid away his tears, averting her emeralds to meet his silvers as she sadly smiled, "I'm sorry I had to show you that, Axel. I had no real intentions to bring you down to a saddening point so as this. You need not to be guilty for yourself in leaving me so long ago. There was not much else you could've done besides face the consequences you knew would come eventually running to catch up with the rest of you. Though could you please forgive me?" Noctavia gave him a knowing look before sliding her hands down along his shoulders, massaging gently till his tears would dry and brightening the mood as she received an idea to make him feel better possible.

Nodding her head, she told him to come back and lay with her like before, waiting till he would do so so that she could curl up against him while keeping her arms secured around his sides. Again the room had changed, fitting the standards and appearance to what appeared to be a strip joint. There was no audience to fill the chairs, for there only like an empty stage. The lights were dimmed, and along the walls were small twinkling lights to give the room a romantic glow. Noctavia took a breath of air to smell his scent being wafted towards her the closer she pressed against him. With a bit more thought put to the image, she made two silhouettes walk out into the darkness and peer beneath the little light showing down onto the stage's center. It was a woman of obsidian hair and green eyes, whereas the male was an exact resemblance of him. She had remembered the night they shared the first meeting, but after those times they had, there was one that kept her to remember most, "Do you remember this when we were together?" The Alphess laughed awkwardly almost at the memory as she gave his side a small squeeze before continuing while holding the image still, "I remember the part where you carried me to the car because one of my heels to my shoes broke. You took us home to that small little house we had and rested, tangled together just as we are right now.. I still remember things like this too, Axel. I always will.."

13 Re: I Miss You (Noctavia/Private) on Wed Jan 08, 2014 11:03 am

Her embrace forced the male to stiffen his mind, his body, and his heart. He could not let her see him cry, could not let her see the hurt he was feeling now. He loved her far more than anything in his life. It was because of her, he escaped from prison time and time again, and it was because of her, he came to this large city. He could have found a whole new life in the Americas, whether it been north or south. But he chose to come back. The vision was so real, reflecting the feelings and the pain that he felt locked up all those years. But as her hands moved across his back over his shirt, his breathing calmed down. The tears dried themselves from his skin, all the while leaving small puddles among his pants. It had been a long time since the brute had actually cried. The last time he did something of this magnitude was when he was taken from her that first night. He did not cry in front of her, but once he was in his lonely chamber, his lungs sang a sad song, forcing the guards to beat him, whip him, and tighten the chains around his limbs. This was the vision she showed him. But how could she know? "It seems to be a very good tactic. But I would not show it to just anybody. Wouldn't want some crazed fool showing all kinds of strange images to people or even the humans for that matter." Axel tried his best to calm himself, while the wolf controlled the urges he wished as the wolves lied around him. Their scent was strong, he could tell they were with pups, which only drove the male to want them even more. She had forced the boy to cry, surely that was enough to receive a bountiful apology mixed with exchanged fluids and heavily breathing into one anothers' mouths. Axel did not listen to his counterpart, instead he looked to Noctavia, his silver gaze looking to her for comfort and affection. As she pulled his face to look to hers, he obliged her every move. As her thumbs rolled over his skin, his eyes looked up to meet her emerald gaze. Trapped by the glow of her eyes, he was powerless against her. He reached up a hand to rub over one of hers. His thumb moved along it gently, almost as if he were petting her hand below his. "Noctavia," he said in hushed tones, "it is my fault that we were separated. I shall never forgive myself of the things I did. I care not for the humans we killed, I only wish I would have not done the right thing. I wish we would have fun away together, instead of allowing them to capture me. All these years I have been thinking of only you, missing your touch, and hearing your voice. You alone keep me going." He paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts as he stared into her eyes. "Noctavia, I know you don't wish to hear of my confessions for you, so this shall be the last time I do, unless you ask it of me. I will always love you and I will always be here for you, if ever you need me. Of course I forgive you. I forgive you a thousand times over. In reality, it is I that needs to be forgiven.. Can you forgive me, Alphess? Can you forgive this old soul for his trespasses against the humans, for his wrong doings by you and your heart? Can you forgive him for never letting go of the love and adoration he feels for you, and shall continue to feel for an eternity?"

Just as she had requested, he moved with her. He moved back to the bed to rest his head upon her pillow. His arms wrapped around her protectively in a loving manner. It was true Axel cared for her like no other and would do anything if the Alphess asked him to. Anything. Axel laid with her in the bed, looking to her. His eyes noticed the change in her before the room around them. He smiled as the images around them became clear. He rested his head against hers, watching from an angle as the two people met with one another. He could see the love they shared between one another, forcing him to smile. Her words only forced his smile to widen. "I will never forget that night. I can't remember how many times I told you not to wear heels, for they make you taller than me or just about close to it, depending on the heel, but I was glad you broke it and did not get hurt. It was one of the many ways I wanted to show you I would always be there to catch you when you fall. Being close to you is enough to last me a lifetime of joy. I never forget the good times, I don't think myself or my wolf would allow such things to happen." The wolf nodded in agreement, resting beside Noctavia and her companions. Axel moved his lips to her forehead, giving her a single kiss before nestling back into place. His hand searched over the sheets, looking for hers, grabbing hold of it tight in his grasp.

Her hand was taken firmly within his grasp as he finally broke back to his comfort and curled against her like a child that had lost it's mother and has finally found her after so long of searching in the grocery store. She kept her arms safely around the male, protecting him from all the dangers and tragic memories to come back with another wave of tears she'd have to then face once more. Noctavia was never one to break down and cry, and if it was, it took a lot. Not even as a child she would cry, and with that being said, seeing Axel crack open before her almost meant as much as the chemistry they used to hold between one another. It was valued, making her realize only that the things he was put through was complete torture, and that he needed her more than ever now, even if she wasn't able to do as he truly hoped for in coming to her lands, "I do, I do forgive you for leaving me there in the dark that forsaken night, Axel. I could have done what I should've when you were being captured. I was strong, but not as strong as I was now that I have a pack to give me more strength inside. All is purely forgiven, and even if my heart does beat for another, you will and always be my first love in this world. But you must learn first and foremost that this heart is no longer yours to hold, and that yours must be freed from the image of mine being it's other half now." In yet still she did not take her eyes away from the titanium-rod shaded hues. They made her look and peer through to them to find the wolf lying safely inside with the comfort over her wolf-like senses to cause her counterpart into action so that they could all cradle around the great brute - treating him with warmth and great care, just as the bodies they owned did beneath the covers of her bed.

"Hold out your hand upon mine." As he did what she asked him softly to do, she held his hand out in front of them where their chests almost met. There, she opened his hand and within it was the image she projected of two wolves - one brown, with silver eyes, the other black, with green eyes. The two wolves circled each other slowly before greeting each other with a playful nip of the ear and wag of the tail. Together, they nuzzled and pranced upon their hands with an eerie dust to travel behind them, their eyes shining brightly like as if they were spirits of the wind, "Pretty cool, huh?" Noctavia smiled down at the similar wolves to them as she made them finally come together and raise their snouts in a call of being reunited. Then the wolves disappeared back into their hands to whom the wolf was owned by and slipped away to only see their palms slightly overlapped upon each other. She found him a wonderful source of heat when it came to peaceful times like this. It made her slightly smile as some memories returned to her mind in the mists of silence within the room. She remembered one in particular at the moment, finding herself seeing the earlier version of herself and Axel towards the beginning of their relationship had gotten into a brawl with some bar fighters. One rogue wereling had managed to knock the wind out of her, breaking a bone in her ribcage that night, but still having the enough strength to defeat them as their two-man team. Axel had helped her out of the bar and to the car as the sped back to safety, where he then cared for her rib in handling her wounds his blood and holding her close like so till she'd fall asleep for recovery. And soon, her eye-lashes started to drift and flutter again, her shoulders sinking the more she tried to cuddle up next to him like she remembered. A soft groan flew from her closed lips as she lay her head over his chest and soon drifted off into a dream. A dream where she smiled in her sleep, nestling her face in his neck aimlessly before the world became black to her resting mind.

"Noctavia, I will try my hardest to do what you have asked me. And I will take no further steps towards your relationship with the Alpha. But I will be keeping my eyes on him. If any negativity comes from him towards you, I will know and I will deal with it myself. After what I did, I could not let another hurt you, or break your heart. I will always be here to catch you when you fall." He looked over her, doing as she had requested of him. His hand meshed with hers perfectly, just as it had many times before. The heat of their bodies grew as she was only inches from his chest. His heart beat ran rapid among his chest, pounding its way, trying to escape from the hurt of rejection once again. Though the wolf was calmed, enjoying the closeness the female could offer them both, Axel was still very anxious. He wanted much more with her, but knew it to be wrong. She had spoken the words to him, over and over again. He would get the message this last time, making sure she would never have to remind his heart of her truths. Axel looked over the Alphess, their eyes meeting in a clash of green and silver. He loved the way she looked to him with love and adoration. For a brief moment this look came back to his eyes, he could feel her empathy for his wounded heart, the love she was secretly fighting for him. She was an Alphess now, had taken a new mate, and lived on without him just fine, but Axel could not fathom himself doing the same thing. He had held a fire for her for too long, the flames too large to snuff out. He watched as a new image displayed upon their hands. The small wolves seemed happy, in love, enjoying the togetherness of their company. The wolf watched this display through the silver eyes, lifting his chin as the tiny figures did and howled in joy with them. He was at peace, all was well for the moment. When the image disappeared into thin air, Axel saw the tired look upon her face once more, only more severe than last. Slumber was calling to her, pulling her away from the conscious world, slipping her soundly into the darkness of her mind. He waited until the last flutter of her lashes stopped before he decided it was time for him to leave. Slowly he moved his arm out from under her, careful not to wake her. When he made it to the floor, he stood beside the bed. His silver gaze stared upon her form, watching as she curled tighter among herself with the lack of his body to her side. The blankets swirled around her shape, pulling tight to her body as she slept peacefully. Taking one last look at her, he leaned his body over the mattress, supporting his weight with one arm, and leaned down to kiss her still lips, soft and full, one last time."I shall love you until the day my heart beats no longer. Forever and always." Before moving from her completely, he kissed her forehead, pushing back the hair that fell over her face as she slept.

Making his way down the stairs, he adjusted his clothes, smoothing his shirt out and fixed his hair. The pillow had taken advantage of the evaporating gel which tried so hard to cling to his hair. Moving to the kitchen, he washed the knife he used for the sandwiches, put away all the extra things he did not use. He wiped down the counter, knowing full well the maids would be in the next morning to clean and tidy up. But Axel was stuck in a routine. While Noctavia slept in their private home in the farthest part of town, he would clean while she slept. Axel did this for her always, enjoying the feeling of seeing her face when she woke to a clean house. Turning off the lights in the room, he made his way to the window once more. The streets seemed to get busier as the sun was starting to rise. His first night in a pack was a success, being able to spend it with her, and her alone. He released the hidden secrets from his past to her, finally able to lift a great weight off his chest. In the next few days to follow, he would look for the wolves she spoke of, Elite Damian, Doctor Vitani, and Beta Ryker. They seemed of great importance to her, or at least enough for them to be mentioned. Walking to the door, he took one last look around her room, smelling her scent one last time as he slowly closed the door behind him, hearing it lock gently between the frame. As he slipped down the hallway to the elevator, he made his way to the lobby and went on with his day. He was far too happy to sleep, much too awake for the world not to see him. With hands deep in his pockets, he fished for his cigarettes and lighter. He made his way down the streets, no sense of where he was, or where he was going. His legs carried him into the daylight, enjoying the subtle pleasures of nicotine throughout his body.
