Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Venantium or Eternals?

Being among the pack, he never really felt like he had anything to do here. All the members had been finding mates, or at least dating. His attempts had come shy, short of anything with any purpose. No matter what Liam had done, or tried to do, he had his short comings. The holidays only reminded him of his long departed love. Skylar had been his everything, the perfect wolf to him. He was a mentor, a lover, and a best friend. Not a single soul could replace Skylar or the impact he held over Liam. He hated his family for what they had done, promising himself if he had ever met his brother again, he would be sure to kill the bastard. Wandering around the hotel for hours, he saw all the lights, the cheery faces, and the love shared among all the people. It was sickening to him. He could not take the look of the cheery people anymore. He just wished to be in solitude, to think and get his head straight. Leaving the hotel, he wandered to the darkest parts of the streets, until the human creations were no longer in view. He made his way to neutral lands. Large trees could be seen ahead, the area around them a dark and ominous look to it. Liam was direct in his approach, never looking back or changing his mind.

Finally making it to the Crimson Forest, his eyes looked around the tall peeks, observing their large limbs and thick leaves. The trunks were dark red, almost as if they were soaked in the blood of an ancient foe. Liam could only speculate as to why their color was in such fashion, but it was not really a concern to him. Liam moved deep into the woods, the night sky no longer able to be seen. He could not see the city lights or hear the joyous features of the people around him. Finding a stump deep in the sea of trees, this is where he decided to find his resting spot. He rested upon it, legs crossed and began to allow his mind to wander. It brought up thoughts of Skylar, forcing the Warrior to weep, crying hysterically at a point.

The thirst had called the silent predator out on this night. His senses were strong in their ways, able to smell out a simple human as easily as he ever had wished to. His was a rogue, living by his lonesome, no clan to call "family" or anything of the sorts. He was a monster, no cares or considerations for anything other than himself. Licking his lips, he picked up the scent to a creature which was normally found to reside in packs. But this one was alone. Moving about the treetops, he leaped from branch to branch, until he was right above the interesting foe. He could go about this one of two ways. He could toy with the attempt to a meal or he could attack from the shadows. As he rested on a high branch above, he could hear the pathetic sobs of the werewolf below him. He held in a chuckle as he slowly dropped himself into the dark. His mind was made up. This would be a fun game. Approaching softly in the night, his steps made not a noise, a trained wolf would know his scent, would hear him coming. But this wolf was obviously too concerned with crying, most likely over something so stupid. But tonight, the hunter wished to toy with his prey, curious to the cause for him to be so upset. "What's the matter wolf?"

Liam had not noticed the creature that had now shared the forest with him. His tears drenched his shirt, forcing it to become soaked with salt and water. He sniffled his nose, trying to stop the boogers and snot to roll onto him as well. His breathing was labored and interrupted by his upset demeanor. But as a voice rang to his ears, he was quick on the defensive. He quickly jumped to his hands and feet on the stump, staring at the darkness. He could not see from his clouded vision from crying, but he could smell the vial scent now. Trying to calm himself down, he snarled to the beast, "leave me be." His voice sounded as angry as he could, but it not the easiest thing to do, especially in this situation. He glared to the creature. He had heard of them before. It smelled like death, nothing like the scent of a human. Nor would any human have the guts to stand up to a known werewolf, if there were even any that knew of their existence.

"Aww, the poor will wolf lose his binky?" the vampire heckled at the wolf. His smile was wide, his sinister eyes stared at the defenseless wolf. "What's the big bad wolf doing out so far from home?" he asked, pretending to care or even worry for the creature. "Those crocodile tears look rather real.. didn't get your way in the pack?" He continued in his ways, prying at every fiber of the werewolf. He was going to have fun with this one. He moved slowly, circling his prey as his eyes never left the creature, even as he re-positioned himself. The werewolf was keen to his ways it seemed. Every time the vampire took a step, the wolf moved to mimic his ways. He could not help the snicker from being released from his lips. He shook his head to the other, disappointed in the lack of attempt that he made towards him. He thought the wolf would at least play along with his little dinner game. What a boring kill this would be.

"Shut the fuck up! You have no idea what I have been through! You don't know what it's like to lose the one man that means everything to you, the one who completes you and finally makes you feel happy. What do you know about anything? You are just an ugly undead asshole who will never know what it feels like to have a beating heart and feelings. So why don't you go and terrorize some humans before you really piss me off?" Liam was no longer crying now. He breathed in heavily, slow and steady, trying to calm himself enough to protect his hide if need be. He hoped his anger would force the other to leave, he hoped for this very much. But he could not be completely sure with the creature. His cheeks now dry, he stared at the other. He moved with the creature, making sure not to show his back. He wondered what the vampire wished with him anyway. It was not normal for the two species to mingle, at least, that was what he had been told. Liam never took his eyes off the other, making sure he was never at a clear disadvantage.

A loud laugh escaped from his mouth, lifting his head up as his voice echoed among the trees. The birds that did rest within the area had now been flying out of sight or the area completely. "I remember when werewolves used to suck blood, not dick." His snide remark was enough to spark something in the Warrior. He saw it almost immediately. The Warrior lunged for him and the vampire moved quickly out of the way. Fangs bared and mouth ajar, he was ready to take the kill. Liam was in a blind fury. His tears came back and he did not even think to shift to his wolf form. This was a huge advantage to the vampire. If the boy had shifted to his beast, it would have been an even match, or very close. But in this flesh form of a human, he had no chance. The vampire roared to the male, taunting him. "So, you gonna try and suck my dick as well?" His words were all a part of his secret plan. The male obviously had a vulnerable spot, his sexuality. Chastising the male forward, he was lunged at again. This time he was ready and waiting. His dark eyes watched as the wolf sprang towards him. His back legs pushed off the ground, hurling his body straight for the silent predator. The undead creature smiled as they clashed into one another. He grabbed the wolf in a head lock, wrapping his strong arms around the succulent neck. He could smell the blood, he could hear it. The wolf was scared and thrilled at the same time, which only pushed the vampire to want his blood even more. It was invigorating. The wolf tried his might to get out of the hold he was in. But it was no use. Not being in his wolf form was a detriment to him. Grabbing a hand full of hair, he ripped the wolf's head back. His neck now exposed perfectly for attack. The vampire chuckled and licked his lips, allowing the werewolf to see his plan slowly unfolding. Fear filled eyes stared at the vampire and Liam knew it was too late. "Tell your faggy boyfriend I said hi," he teased as he lowered his fangs to the wolf and finally bit into his skin. He took his time sucking the blood dry of the brute, enjoying every drop as if it were the very first.
