Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Venantium or Eternals?

1 Hidden behind a mask~ on Mon Nov 18, 2013 11:11 pm

Laundi had been wandering for years upon years upon years, it was time she found a home. Somewhere to stay or live. Not that Laundi didn't enjoy being alone she loved it, no one to boss her around, no one to tell her who she could or couldn't kill. The loner life was good, but for some reason she felt the right pack, the right home home would be better. The right meaning not just teens or apprentices or lovey dovey ones who pooped rainbows and hugged butterflies, no, never, the right pack meaning wolves with a twisted mind and dark personality, large and muscular, like her. She just wanted to find more like herself. More devils hidden behind feminine beauty and cruel masks.

A tin can rattled against the wall and Laundi threw it only to pick it up again and throw it once more. Boredom, no one around to kill and nothing around to do. A few moments before Laundi threw the can again an Alley dog dame around the corner growling, only to be stopped in its tracks by an even louder growl escaping Lundai's mouth. It whimpered once and lowered its head and she bent down to pet it's white head, a pit bull. She loved these kind of dogs. After petting it she waved her hand to shoo it off and pranced back into the Alley. Turning around a car rolled down the road, three men honking and whistling as she walked, ignoring them, but listening for the sound of a gun being loaded or the turning of tires in case they wanted more than what they saw. "I dare them.." Her wolf spoke, Laundi smirked and scratched her neck just above the collar. Another alley and she turned into it, only this alley was different. Inhaling deeply, the faint scents of others like her filled her nostrils. A smirk again leaked across her lips as she walked down the alley, combat boots hitting the pavement with a soft thud and her collar chain links made faint clinging sounds. Graffiti littered the walls as well as blood, obviously disguised by the graffiti to a mortal eye. The smell of mortal blood often sent Laundi into a frenzy, Eager taste it, a lust for it, a need for it.

Now the alley grew silent and cars honked off in the distance, Laundi bent over into a dumpster and rumbled through it and lifted her head again with a small brown bag, inside nothing but rotten food, tossing it on the ground Laundi looked around before growling under her breath, leaning against the wall and sliding down onto the pavement she'd wait for someone who was doing their rounds to come and find her.

The streets twinkled abroad the populated city, shining and filling the surroundings of every living civilian with something to mesmerize in their time within the NYC. As much as the noises caused a wereling's hearing to hurt, the fae had gotten used to it after so long, and it no longer bothered her as it did when she first arrived decades ago. Since then, the city had blossomed greatly in its favor, and it evolved slowly to what it was now the greatest city of business. When finally the cold night settled in, the female shifter slipped away from her quarters to take a long walk throughout the lands in spite of a bit of mind searching. Her breath was easily seen in short gusts that blew from her plump full lips, scented with a more recent meal she had captured as it smelt of blood. Luckily for her, the city paths had been cleared of commoners, so that she could easily move about the way she wished in the comfort of her wolf's skin.

She stood tall, ranging at most a little over half of nine feet at a grand total, paired with a lovely set of diamonds for eyes. They resembled that of a ghost's eyes, shining with a pure gloss and cloudy color to reflect within them. Her coat was a dark brown, speckled in rays of ashy greys and blacks here and there, and a peppered muzzle to mesh all together. Her ears flicked at the sound of another near by, turning a sharp left down the darken alley as she quickened her pace. The closer she became, the stronger the foreigner became, only to be brought to the presence of a lonesome vagabond before her. She was female, given both by her appearance and scent, watched carefully under the doctor's wolf-like eyes as she walked closer, exposing herself from the shadows that encased the alleys, "You there," Vitani called out to the fae, rising to her tallest in a natural dominance as she rolled her shoulder-blades back into position. Her elongated snout and limbs shrunk back into her human body, phasing out the rest so that she stood to a normal five foot, eight once more. Her hair ran in long waves down her back, caressed in a dark brownish black much like her wolf. Looking to the female, Vitani tucked her hands in her puffy white coat pockets and smiled kindly in welcome, "Salutations, miss. What brings you to the great boarders of my wise sister's pack, Eternal Darkness?" She wore a pair of dark denim skinny jeans that had slight tears down the front due to age, covered at the ends with two comfortable dark grey boots that reached almost to her knees. Underneath her coat, she wore nothing more than a tanktop with a black sweater over top and a dark grey scarf around her neck. Reaching out her hand, her eyes twinkled with kindness, "The name is Vitani Dark, I'm a doctor here, and you are?" She said softly with a tilt to her head.

The sounds of the city irritated Laundi but she had lived here for less than two days and was already used to it. Adjusting was easy for her, adjusting to loss, to new surroundings, deaths, births, adjusting to just about anything. As Laundi sat in the alley she turned her head to the side, narrowing her eyes  before standing and scratching her neck once more, staring at the end of the alley way. Soon enough a large creature made its appearance and Laundi bowed her head once and lifted it regally again, not looking into the ghosty pale eyes. This female turned back to her human form, her wavy curls and facial features took Laundi at slight surprise, beautiful was the only word that could be used to describe her.

Shortly after she held out her hand Laundi reached here out and shook it once and released it, she didn't enjoy being touched or touching others, a from of protection to always keep your guard up and your body free from hands. A soft smile formed along her lips, no teeth shown. As Laundi put her hand down her chain links clunked together and She spoke. "I was hoping that you'd have an opening for a poor loner like me.." A soft chuckle left her mouth that almost turned into a growl out of habit but she caught herself. "I'm Laundi." She spoke her name softly, not a fan of it. Never has been never will be. As silence fell over the two Laundi looked down at the one before her and back at her face. "I like your pants..." Laundi wearing almost the exact pair, the same shade of color though not as many rips.

As her eyes peered down to look at the material covering her legs, she stuck one out so she wouldn't have to look completely to the floor, wiggling one of her booted feet just slight as she grinned, "Thanks. They're kinda old, though. Fortunately for me, I don't have to where all that doctor junk, so its nice to just work in these from time to time during this kinda weather especially." Peering over the female, she sized her on her own time, taking small glances here and there as she nodded, "I like your name, its very.." Her eyes rolled slightly, pursing her lips as she thought of the word to originally describe it as. There was something about the female that seemed to make her eyes shine brighter than they initially were, and with that, she knew there was to be something special about her that could be of use having. "Unique. Kinda like mine." Laundi was an interesting name, certainly one she hadn't heard in her many years, she saw it as a sign of goodness to come within their dark alleys. She eyed along the brick apartment walls, lined with various arts and gratifies, all painted by the runaways and street artists that held nothing better to do by expressing their artistic abilities. A bright smile shown white behind her lips, already seeing this female could fit in, "There is always room for members, miss. What skills would be happen to benefit from you, and how well do you keep your respects towards your superiors, as well as ways of staying out of trouble? My sister, and the Alphess named Noctavia prefers not to hear reports of some disruptions going on, so this is necessary." Vitani swayed slightly on the balls of her feet, using the body heat of her counterpart to keep her toasty warm as the climate started to drop.

A soft nod while e chain links clanked together again, feeling slightly pissed off that they were making more noise than usual her wolf growled "They knew I'd get out so why'd they have to chain me up..." Laundi shrugged and nodded at her wolf in agreement, it was true she had the genes of her grandfather a purebred wolf as well as her mother and father. She was a purebred and tiny chains weren't going to keep her attached to anything, not on her first turning.

Listening quietly she gazed behind the shoulder of the woman and saw the white pit bull again before back into the eyes of the one standing before her. Laundi chuckled "Old is good.." Referring to herself though she hasn't any idea how old this doctor was, as she just implied as her job. A superior to Laundi and another small bow motioned and her head normal once more. "I keep my respects well enough not to get my head ripped off and tossed with the other dis respectful members." Shrugging slightly. "I'm loyal to those I dare care about as well as the Alpha whether I care for her/him or not..I know my place in a pack.." Cracking her knuckle once Laundi continued, "I being a purebred have great speed, strength and agility used toward good or bad at times.." They could speak freely about themselves as no mortals were around and if they did hear they'd probably just think of them as some sort of crazies. "I can stay out of trouble, being able to control both forms and change whenever I want, but I chose not too..." But with a crooked grin she scratched her boot against the pavement. "I can stay out trouble well enough to keep the reports off me..." A small shrug. "But we weren't made to be nice all the time so or any of the time so I may get into some trouble, being honest.."

Vitani nodded along slowly to what the female had to say, seeing and hearing enough just to prove her worthiness as well as her loyalty to packmates. She understood the ways the pack; that was all she needed to know. Her eyes danced around towards the chains that hung from her lean body, tilting her head slightly to the side as it appeared to be as if she were trapped and kept somewhere. There was small changes in the chains, scratched and rusted around some places to tell its age difference. In a hotel, they would not accept any sort of metals as that, so Vitani took this to key before walking her back to the camp. She wished to keep the conversation going, wondering what all there as to know, but keeping it short and sweet and to the finish, "I'm pleased by your words, and with that I grant you with the powering rank of a warrior. Our pack is at a majority of purebloods, as they too are strong. That is what makes them equal, in a sense, so I fear it won't be long before you will have someone to call friend. I mean, you've already got me on your side." Her lips formed a tender smile, gazing deeply into the loner's eyes as she meant truth.

"You see, I am of the rare kind of wereling in the pack. Most here are up for any fights and what-nots to set someone off, but I believe what's best if for the best. Neutral, mostly, so your past and present, nor looks and skills will not be mislead through me. I am one not to judge a book by its cover, if you understand. But, I do have two questions before we get ahead of ourselves..." Pointing a dark red nail to her collar, Vitani arched a curious brow. The question was little be spoken of, as her actions described louder through her body language. It wasn't difficult to pick up what she meant, but she asked it anyway, "Um.. What's with the collar? You're not a dog.. are you?" A small laugh reached through from her throat, not out of mockery, but just out of a tad humor, "And my next question is how old are you, precisely? If you can't remember, like I, then an estimation will due."

Laundi listened quietly and when Vitani pointed to her collar Laundi placed a hand on her collar as if to hide it. No, she wasn't a dog nor would she ever be a 'dog.' Her wolf let out a soft growl and mumbled words but Laundi couldn't make the words out.  A small smirk leaked along her pale lips and a white tooth showed a bit. Referring to what she had said before, totally letting out brush over, a small nod and a small grin, she had a pack now. Some place to call home, some place to make a few friends. Though trusting others and expecting them to not let her down was a risky task, not often acted upon. A pleasant grin as Laundi looked up from her boots that had small blood stains on them but only if you got to eye level with them as the doctor had said Laundi had her on her side, a companion already, a beautiful companion for that matter.

As the woman looked into her eyes Laundi scratched the ground with her boot again. "Being different is ok, most people everywhere not just in the pack judge people and if they don't dress good enough toss them to the curb.." Shrugging slightly, Laundi couldn't say she wasn't like that, because she was. Walking over toward the wall she placed her hand on and walked along it, her fingers rubbing over the bumps of the wall. Ahead of e woman now she looked back and grinned half way on her face before turning forward and walking forward once more. "My collar.." She remembered the woman referring to and turned around to face her respectfully. "From my first turning..they thought they could contain me or something.." A wicked grin and her pale white teeth showed at the moment before a emotionless face looked at the woman. "No, I'm not a dog.." A forced laugh came from her parted mouth and her dry lips stuck together again for a moment until her next question. "I'm around 120 or so years I think..." She shrugged and twirled once. "Looking good for my age huh?" A small chuckle as her clothes and hair settled back down, facing Vitani. "You're beautiful in both forms you know, as long as you're beautiful being different is ok." A small chuckle and she clacked her teeth once. "Not that I don't like different others.." She stopped talking before she made an even more fool of herself.

"Well, if it makes you feel better, we don't judge a lot of people around here, as we all have our stories and pasts. But if someone is bothering you, just let me know. I'm always willing to rough someone up a bit if allowed." As she said this, Vitani took out a small sticky note pad from her coat pocket, jotting down her number in the case of a disruption for the female to call her at any given time of day, "I don't usually get a lot of patients, we're quite independent here it seems, so I have all the time in the world if you're free to just talk or have fun." Her compliment made her blush and grin wider from what it originally was to begin with. This female had her behaviors quite nicely ordered, which pleased her greater to know, "That's so kind of you to say that, Laundi. Thanks, and same goes for you. Judging from my senses, any counterpart that is quiet is a beautiful one. Ha, a picture paints a thousand words, am I right?" She laughed softly. Looking to the collar, Vitani nodded and then sighed, watching as Laundi scratched her foot against the cement floor. Her lips pursed into a flat smile, stepping towards the female as she reached out to touch the chained collar. Right as her finger tip tapped against it, she pulled back, finding the metal to be icy cold at the temperature of the evening.

Cocking her head to the side, she examined the collar, remembering back to the female's few facts about herself. She was young, well, to her she was, as were most around her in that case. Vitani in more or less terms knew she was over thousands of years old, but only mattered in strength and knowledge to a wereling. She had to admit, the fae was in great shape for being that well-trained at over a hundred years. Though, the Beta wasn't far off in difference, so she chose not to see who could beat another at this point, "I can break this. The hotel as restrictions against having metal objects. The stupid humans don't get it, but if I were in charge, I'd let you wear it as you pleased. You might not of been able to before, but I know I can with my age. If you didn't know that already, werelings grow stronger each passing year. Being that I am... really old, it helps with these sort of situations in my favor." Vitani smiled, making sure the distance between them were a few inches apart as her eyes when back down the collar. Her hands caressed the bitter cold chains between her small fingers, slowly clenching around them till she pried them apart with enough effort. As the chain feel off the neck and into her hands, she looked to the women, turning away so she wouldn't see what she was about to do. Biting her lip in concentration, Vitani bent the chain back together, but smaller as it warped into a neat bracelet. She then dug in her purse to find an old earring she lost the match to from dancing at a club one night, still a bit frustrated that she was never to find it again, but she kept the other earring anyway in case she were to use it. Luckily enough, she found a reason finally instead of having it collect dust under all her crap. With a slight move of her fingers, the doctor pinched the pink diamond earring around one of the chains, then turning around to show Laundi, "Viola. This will pass easily through them, and its cute to wear, don't ya think?" As she stood forwards, Vitani happily smiled and slipped the bracelet around her wrist again, then gazing into her eyes for her reaction towards the creation.

Laundi watched the woman with an anxious look. "Thanks, it means a lot for a loner-" she paused as now she had a pack. "For a newbie.." Talking the notecard she placed it in her jean pocket and grinned widely, showing her pearl white teeth and nodded once and laughed softly at her words. When the woman reached toward her collar she stepped back an inch or so before stopping and letting her touch it, when she yanked her finger back Laundi sighed. "Cold, isn't it?" Laundi had to always feel the cool temperature on her neck or the hit temperature, but she didn't mind it. She never really felt cold or hot anywhere else on her body but where the collar touched her. When Vitani spoke about the hotel restrictions a forced smile formed along Laundi's pressed lips and she shrugged. When the woman touched her collar Laundi almost snapped at her out of instinct of others touching her or her things, but held back. Her wolf growled and mumbled again and Luandi watched Vitani bend the collar, come to think of it, Laundi never attempted to take it off, she never wanted too.

As the collar fell from her neck Laundi readjusted her feet and lifted her head as it was hanging low to watch the woman work, a part of Laundi was sad and the other part felt no emotion. Certainly not showing it she nodded as Vitani turned around to do her work, shuffling through her bag Laundi became intrigued. When she returned the chain and placed it on her wrist over her tattoo Laundi looked up at the woman and smiled. "It's amazing...from what materials you had you made it look amazing.." Repeating the word she hadn't an idea what to say but it was truly amazing what she came up with. Laundi's neck felt bare and turned to the temperature of the rest of her body as spree sadness seeped from her veins Laundi turned around. "Take me to the hotel?"
