Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Noelle watched the world from the passenger side window, house after house, person after person. She saw them all as the Car drove and winded around the city. Oh, what a place. Don't you think Noe? So big! So..loud! Harumi giggled, and Noe looked over to her wolf, shrugging, then looked back out the window. It was big, indeed. Noisy, of course. Noelle grabbed a hair band and twisted her long, dark hair into a pony tail, clearing her throat.
The driver looked at Noelle briefly before staring back at the road.
"We ain't there yet..." The Driver began, but Noe waved him off. "Right here is fine.." She mumbled, wringing her hands.

The Driver nodded and pulled over, leaning around to stare at Noelle. "Alright, miss. Here you are!" He smiled, tilting his head to the side. Noelle nodded and grabbed her suitcase, hopping out. She didn't have much money to pay, she she just threw him random dollars and coins. "Thanks.." He murmured, but his voice was faint as Noelle walked away, her flats making a 'Clopping' noise on the sidewalk. There wasn't many humans around now, which relieved Noe. She didn't want any..confrontation with anyone right now. Where are we headed, Dear? asked Harumi.
Though Noelle didn't know. She just..had to escape Tanken's clutches.
Um..I don't know. Anywhere, Harumi. We can go anywhere. Just as long at Tanken's not around, we can be free. Noe told her wolf, smiling brightly. Turning a corner, Noelle walked down an alley and twirled, a skip in her step.  Harumi let out a howl. We're free! Oh finally! I never liked that male, you know? Always staring at you, like you were some sort of...meat and he wanted to just eat you up. Hahaha, that pervert. No body likes a pervert.

Laughing, Noe looked behind her, making sure no one was there, before she took off her shoes and set down her suit case, bending down to open it. Whoa, what are you doing? Harumi asked, her howls dying down. Noelle grabbed a pair of shorts, and a tank top, shutting the suit case and plopping them on it. I'm changing. Why? Replied Noelle, stripping off her ripped tights and throwing them in the dumpster. Harumi growled. No, don't undress here! There's rapists everywhere! You know that! Stupid..teenagers who'd just love to catch a glimpse of your body! Don't.Change. Here!
Though Noelle just ignored her wolf. Taking off her dress, she threw that in the trash too. I need to change..don't ask me why, I just..need to change. And Don't worry. No ones around here, anyway. Grabbing the shorts, Noelle shimmied them on, then reached for her silky tank up, putting it on and smiled. I'm now, refreshed. Pulling out her hair-tie, she felt her hair cascade down her shoulders.

Harumi sighed, watching Noe with wide eyes. How do you do that? She asked, tilting her head to the side. With a confused look, Noe stared back at her wolf, grabbing her suitcase. "Do what?" She asked aloud, putting back on her shoes. Sighing, she started to walk again, waiting for Harumi to answer. Well, whenever bad things happen, you STILL always look your best. Like, when Daiken was banished. You were heartbroken, but you never let that show. You dressed fancy, smiled, danced with everyone. How. Do.you.Do that? Harumi finally said.
Noelle stopped in her tracks, narrowing her eyes. She hadn't heard that name in years, and was planning on keeping it that way. Until Harumi mentioned him. Brushing it off, she answered her wolf's question. I don't know..I suppose I just fake it well. With a shrug, she began walking again.

The night was inviting, inviting him to have a relaxing walk to clear his thoughts. The fresh breath made his eyes close and inhale deeply, filling his lungs with the night’s scents. He looked at the street and remembered that the alleys where not too far from him. The thought that new comers could appear, having the hopeful believe that a pack could open his arms and accept them, was as foolish and amusing as a mouse believing that the cat next door will not eat him. He actually could help the Alphess with those loners, if they were any, to remove some work from her. She did give him permission to accept or decline any petition of joining, depending in their intentions and in his own perception. He wasn’t going to accept anyone that could represent the slightest threat to the pack or its members. With his own experience he was able to detect that, taking the responsibility whether he accepted or not a new member of Eternal Darkness.

In a blink he shifted. His body grew in size and power, his chest expanding to hold his big lungs that gave him the ability to run for days without stopping or growing tired. His hair turned totally black and extended along his back, reaching the end and creating a long and furry black tail as several short bones grew inside it. His hands and feet turning into huge paws armed with five or four sharp, long, and dark claws, capable of cut the soul of anyone or anything who deserved it, trespassing a human body easily and turning it into shreds in one swipe. His teeth turned into sharp white fangs capable to turn a skull into pieces with one close of his jaws. His yellowish eyes where the only thing that didn’t change, shining strongly in the dark as his black body melted perfectly with the dark. His long and pink scar crossing his left eye turned more visible in contrast with his fur, the same with the large one in the middle of his chest with the marks of five claws. Several, smaller scars made their way along his frame and legs, slightly covered by the long fur around them.

With a low growl he walked to the alleys, his tail swaying slightly and his pointy ears perked to the front, getting every sound that was of interest for this demon. One in particular grabbed his attention. The voice of a female. He walked confident towards the sound, stopping at the sight of a thin and totally alone werewolf. Something about her made his memories to search for someone that fitted her characteristics but by some reason, those memories felt like blocked, by himself. Daiken stood tall in front of the female, exactly 10.5 feet. His voice was low and dark, mixed with short growls as he spoke. “Where do you think you are going?”

Stopping, Noelle kicked off her shoes. These things are killing me.
Throwing them too, into the nearest dumpster, she made her way once more, watching out for pointed and sharp objects. You might as well just throw your whole suitcase away, Noe. Harumi snickered. Ignoring her red wolf, she  twisted her tail into a high ponytail, and shrugged.
She didn't really listen to her wolf, or muchless allowed the slender creature to take control, nor did she EVER really..talk or have a conversation with Harumi. They just...weren't as close.
Hey! I have an idea! Why don't we go dancing tonight, Noe? Flirt with men and smitten boys! You could even find a partner for the night! When was the last time you had- Her wolf began, but started a chorus of growls, snarls, and huffs.
Looking about, confused and shocked, Noelle started to pick up her pace.
What's wrong, Harumi? What do you see? Though, she didn't need her wolfs answer. Right in front of her, was this...big..black, wolf. Harumi growled, and pushed at Noelle's body, wanting to break through,Noelle. Let me out, dear. This wolf is bad...trust me. Come on, dear! Let me out!
Harumi screeched, and Noelle just stood there. No, Harumi! Stop. Just, stop talking! Let me figure this out! Looking down then back at the wolf, she raised her free hand in a awkward wave. "You can shift back, Sir..So we can have a nice...friendly conversation, Hm?" She offered, tilting her head to the side and eyeing the creature.

A low growl came from his throat. Who did she think he was? Doing what she wanted. He stepped closer to her, still trying to figure out why she looked so familiar to him. He lowered his head and smelled her hair, looking deep into her, grabbing her energy, trying to remember. There was a very slight scent of... No... Tanken! With a big and deadly growl, he lifted his head again and bared his fags at her. "I asked you a question and I have another one for you. Who the hell are you?! If you reply with honestly maybe, just maybe, I will think into shifting back. Now respond!" His voice was harsh and angry. Why did she smell like Tanken?! His blood boiled inside him as he tried to calm down. This was not right.

His huge paws moved the beast to her side, rotating and turning to her back, then again at her other side to complete the circle, looking closely at the female. He could sence her own wolf growing anxious and for some reason, he also recognized her wolf. Who was this girl? Returning to his spot in front of her, he waited for her reply. 'Shit...' Slater's voice interrumpted his thought. 'What Slater?' A low laugh came from his wolf's snout. 'Just wait Daiken, you will soon discover who this girl is. She is bigger now.' So now even Slater knew her? Why he didn't?

Noelle stiffened, watching the male come closer, his large eyes boring into hers, as he smelled her, watched her, circled even. Noelle...
Noe heard her wolf speak, but didn't listen, couldn't process.
This wolf..the build, the eyes, the voice, the color..looked somewhat of someone..Noelle knew she knew. Though she couldn't figure out who. Perhaps I've seen him before...like..at a Gathering or something. Noelle guessed, tilting her head to the side. Oh, you could say that..Harumi spoke, leaving Noelle even more confused. The wolf seemed to only have gotten angrier. Smelling herself, Noelle realized Tanken's scent clung to her skin. Oh, must have been from that night...Shaking her head, Noelle eyed the wolf.

Why was he so upset? I mean, angrier. Sure, I smelled like another wolf. What's it to him? Shifting her weight, Noe narrowed her pale blue orbs.
He wanted to know who Noelle was. Who she is. Why does he want to know so much! He didn't walk like he had power. Sure, he could probably take me out, but..still. He wasn't an Alpha..was he?
Noelle felt Harumi shrug, as she eyed the wolf. Noelle..just tell him your name. Your WHOLE name. First, middle, and last. Harumi whispered urgently, as if that was the solution to this mess. Noelle shrugged, swinging her suitcase back an' forth. "Who am I?" With a scoff, she continued. "My name is Noelle Lynn Kazeshini. The last of the Kazeshini family." Arching an eyebrow, she pursed her lips. There! Happy now, Harumi? Noelle growled at her wolf, nibbling her bottom lip.
Though Harumi just growled right back. No. You lied! You are not the last! Tanken's still alive! You know that...

Though Noelle only shrugged. Harumi. We don't know this wolf. He is nothing to us! Why should you care that I lied? And how will this Wereling know I lied? Hm!? He DOESN'T KNOW US!And probably doesn't even care. So just..shut up! She managed, clearing her throat. Noelle knew she shouldn't be so hard on Harumi, but sometimes she just..couldn't help it.

Noe… Noelle… His face turned completely. There was no more anger or annoyance, just unbelief and confusion. Automatically he stepped back, shaking his head very slightly, and his eyes wide and returning to his greenish color. “No... It can’t be...” His voice was a whisper, talking more to himself than to her. Closing his eyes, he tried to focus again, breath again, think right. ‘He lied! She is alive! She is alive...’ His eyes opened again to look slowly at Noelle. How was he able to not recognize her? She was just bigger, that’s all. She had grown a lot since the last time he saw her. Then he remembered her last words. ‘The last?’ Shaking his head he talked relaxed and confident, but not angry or threatening as before. “You lied. You are not the last Kazeshini Noelle. They are still all those deserters that forgot our true customs and traditions, just to become killers under his command. Tanken’s command.”

He looked at her, still not believing she was there, with him, alive. She shifted again into his human self. His slightly long hair not as dark as his pelt, some tiny hair in his cheeks, chin, and under his nose, his fur turning into dark jeans and a black t-shirt with a black leather jacket, same as his boots. Two dog tags hanging from his neck with his personal information, a titanium watch in his left wrist, and a black belt holding a big hunting knife in his right side. His yellowish green eyes looked at her with a glimpse of light but his features maintaining serious. “And there’s still me, even when I don’t use that surname anymore...”

Noelle recoiled almost instantly. How did this wolf know so much about the Kazeshini's! How does he know about Tanken? Peeling back her lips into an inhumanly growl, she stepped backwards, almost losing her balance but she reached out, and grabbed the edge of the dumpster right next to her, leaning against it, blocking out the horrid smell.
This is why I confronted you about Lying Noelle! Listen. Hear, dear.
Harumi whispered, her wolf eyes widening as she stared at the unknown.
Gulping, Noe felt sudden nerves enter her body, sending a not-so-good feeling shiver to run down her back. Who is he? And what does he want?

Shaking her head, Noelle watched curiously as the Wolf transformed, shifting into a man. He had facial hear, and strangely familiar eyes. Remember, Noelle.
Seeing past the facial hair, Noelle let out a cry, dropping her suitcase and bring both hands up to cover her mouth, her eyes watery. No! Not him..no...
Letting out a sob, she backed away, this time, she did trip, and wasn't able to catch herself. Falling on her butt, she looked up at the Charming man she knew all to well. Daiken....No...
Shaking her head, she felt her canines bite into her palms, wishing this all to be just a dream. This is a dream, isn't it? I never really escaped Tanken's clutches. I'm still in my room, right now. And Tanken's sitting in that chair beside my bed, watching me. And..at midnight, he'd take me to the ballroom and we'd dance, and talk. This is all just..one bad dream. Noelle told herself, feeling a tear she had tried to hold back slip from her grasp and slide down her cheek.
This isn't a dream, my beautiful. He's really here. Harumi whispered into Noelle's ear. Noe felt hope slip away. This wasn't a dream. At all.
Setting down she shaky hands, she let out a low sob, bringing herself to her feet.
Noelle remembered something. After a few months of crying and sobbing for her loss, and pushing away at Tanken because he kept trying to comfort her, Noe told herself, that if she ever saw Daiken again. She'd ask him something. Just one word. Keeping her distance, her began to wring her hands, nibbling her bottom lip as more tears stained her cheeks. "W-why?" She choked out, staring at her bare feet.

His face changed with her reaction. She moved back, fell, and even cried. Why? Okay, one thing was to be very happy to see someone you thought lost or dead for a very long time and then finding that someone alive thanks to destiny, but he could tell it was not happiness what she felt right now. It was scare and true sadness. What the hell was going on?

Daiken moved some steps closer. He wanted to hug her, to feel her and confirm this wasn’t a dream, a beautiful dream where his beloved cousin was still alive and with him. But when he reached less than a foot from her, he stopped. Maybe if he touched her, he will just make everything worse. He just stood there, watching her, waiting to discover why she was reacting like that.

Her last word was even more confusing. ‘Why?’ Why what? The real question was ‘how?’. How the hell was she alive after Tanken said he killed her? How she managed to get through all this years and where? The smell of Tanken over her gave him that answer. She had been with him all this years. Why? Okay, he had the same question now, but what she wanted to know exactly? Why was he here? Why he couldn’t remember her at first? Before making his head get even more confused and filled with more questions than ever, he asked to her directly, touching her arm very slightly, still the huge need to hug her and be sure she was there.’Why?’ What do you mean?”

Noelle just stared at Daiken. With narrowed eyes and a blank face. What? What the HELL does he mean? Why is he acting like this? As if he doesn't know what I'm talking about. I mean..he has to! He killed them. He killed them all. Didn't he? He killed my family. His family. Our pack.
Noelle shook her head lightly, feeling her ponytail sway as her head did.
Well, last time I checked..yeah. Or at least, that's what Tanken said. Or claimed. Harumi answered, flicking her ear. Tanken...thought Noelle bitterly, taking in a deep breath, which she regretted. Every time she opened her mouth, breathed, or sighed, his scent came rushing at her.

Tanken had such an unusual scent. It can't necessarily be...explained. It was a lovely smell, or it was. A rich, sweet smelling scent, actually. Though, ever since Noelle realized over the years of living with the male, that he wanted to be more, so much more, then just 'cousins', his scent became poison to her. She hated it. Wrinkling up her nose, without really thinking about it, she waved her hand in front of her face like a fan, trying to rid away his scent. Which didn't work. How could it? She'd have to bathe for hours to get that horrid smell away from her. Dropping her hand, she sighed.
"Don't. Just..." She sighed again. How can I start. Or explain. Wait..no. I shouldn't explain. He has to! Erm...GOSH DAMMIT! Rolling her shoulders, she nibbled her bottom lip, surprised it wasn't bleeding, and cleared her throat. "I wanna know why...you..killed them." Noelle murmured, feeling as if there was a knot in her stomach, and right now, she really just wanted to be anywhere, but there, and lay down.

He waited for her, impatient, wanting to know why she was afraid of him? They were like brothers before, always together, protecting each other from everything since they meet. Daiken never had any sisters, nor brothers. The only one he ever had was Tanken, which betrayed him and is still waiting for the day he will have his brother's heart in his claws. Daiken never understood his actions, but he suspected Orochi was after his strange and cynic behavior.

'Kill them?' Who, exactly? His expression turned serious, almost annoyed. He had killed so many humans, vampires, werewolves, even shifters. He lost count of it after he decided to forgot his surname. Was one of them a friend of her? Maybe a relative? He would have known, and most of them deserved to die. He never killed anyone who he knew had a chance to change and do the right thing. He stopped being a Kazeshini, but he was still a hired murdered. That was what he trained for, what he was good at, what he and Slayer liked doing. But he always investigated his target before accepting the job.

Daiken straightened his back and looked into his eyes, he actually didn't regret any of those kills. With spoke clear and cold to her. "You will need to be more specific Noelle. I can't remember every assassination."

Noelle stared at Daiken again, though this time, she eyed him more.
What? Now what was HE talking about? Assassinations? The Daiken I knew..never killed anyone. He was to kind.
Shaking her head, she placed her hands on her hips stubbornly.
Well, he grew up Noelle..just like you did. Don't judge him, dear. You don't know what he's been through, nor does he know what you've been through. Harumi whispered, and of course Noelle just waved her Red wolf off.
"I mean...my..our Family. Tanken told everyone that you killed..well..everyone." She said, furrowing her brows. And Harumi, as she always did, spoke up. Noelle..what if what Tanken said was a lye? What if...everything he SAID and DID was a lye? Did you ever think of that?
And just like before, she waved her wolf off. Why would he lye, Harumi? Hm? HM? Oh course I thought about what Tanken said, and if it was all bull..but what am I supposed to believe? For years, Harumi, YEARS I have been told that this man, Daiken, took away my family. I..didn't want to believe  it. I still don't. But what...am I supposed to think? Because...I don't know anymore, Harumi. I'm lost and confused. And I'm tired, I really am.

His expression changed, his eyes widened and his mouth opened a bit, his eyes confused and even scared. ‘What?! Her, OWN family?? When? How??’ Daiken shook his head, trying to remember when he actually killed one of their relatives. Then he remembered the whole sentence, ‘Tanken told’.  Right. Typical of him. He should has known that he was going to blame him for everything that happened. Taking a deep breath to calm his rising anger, he closed his eyes for a moment, then opening again to meet her gaze, his own serious and slightly angry, but not because of her, because of him... His brother. Why the hell was he doing so much to hurt him? And their father? He killed him! No one else did, he! “Do you believe him? What he has said all these years, do you believe it’s true?”

He started walking towards her until he was just a few inches from her face, now a glimpse of pain showed in his yellowish eyes, hurt of her accusation and lack of trust after everything they passed together, everything he thought was gone when Tanken said he killed her too. He made the same mistake to believe him there, but it was logical since he killed everyone else. “Tell me Noelle... Do, you, believe, him?”

Tilting her head downward, Noelle clenched her fists. What was HE talking about? Belief? What else was there to believe!? Shaking her head, Noe finally lifted her gaze, holding back a yelp when she discovered how close he had gotten. Oh heavens no..He's going to slaughter me as well! Noelle cried to her wolf, feeling her heart beat quicker. Yet her wolf's voice was a calm as ever. No, he's not...
That was all she had. Harumi's ears tilted forward, waiting for Noelle to reply, and to see Daiken's reaction.

Opening her mouth, Noelle quickly thought twice before she questioned him, Daiken, about the situation. She didn't want to make anything worse...Shutting her eyelids, Noe took in a deep breath.
"No...No, I don't believe him. The story he told always had something..missing. It wasn't right. Nothing was right. I don't think you could have done..what has happened." She mumbled, forcing her eyes to open. Blinking away tears stubbornly, she gave a helpless shrug. "But, what am I supposed to do? What if...I don't know you as well as I thought I did...GAH!" Throwing her hands up, she eyed him. "What would you have wanted me to do? Huh?"

He looked at her calmed as she spoke but with a glimpse of pain behind his eyes. “I didn’t kill your family, or mine, neither of them. I didn’t do it. Why would I? I was the Alpha, I had to protect all my pack, including my brother, but as long as I know, Tanken did everything to be the new Alpha... After I was banished by the whole pack, trusting Tanken’s words, he searched for me along with other Kazeshini and attacked me, almost killing me. Before I blacked out, he told me he also killed you... That is why I didn’t return. I wasn’t in the condition to fight him or any one of the clan, and you were... you were not there anymore... Any of my family, anyone I could trust...” He lowered his sight and looked to the black asphalt of the alley with a big sight, trying to shit his memories down again. “You are right... You knew me, but now you don’t. I had changed, Noelle. After everything that has happened, that Tanken made me suffer, I am not the same confident and happy Alpha you remember, or the killer you thought I was, or am... I don’t know what do you think now, and I don’t have an answer for your question. I also believed Tanken’s word, about your death, so I don’t blame you for doing the same. He planned everything to perfection to make all the clan turn against me... Some years later, he sent a group of Kazeshini killers to exterminate my mate, my pups, and my entire pack.” He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, to many emotions mixing into his chest. Happiness for looking at her, anger because of Tanken, pain and sadness because of how his life changed and all the lives he lost. Looking again into her eyes he spoke low and with full truth. “I am sorry, Noelle. I shouldn’t have believed him. It was because of me you stayed with him all these years.”

He couldn’t still believe she was there, alive, with him, so close. He wanted to touch her, to hug her, to make sure she was not just a bad dream. His painful eyes looked at her again, trying to understand how destiny reunited them again. A very slight smile showed in his face as his hand moved slowly up, his fingers tracing her cheek very slightly, his hand shaking in believe she will disappear at any moment. He wasn’t going to endure losing her again. Removing his hand quickly he moved back some steps, looking away but with his smile growing just a bit. “I’m sorry...” She was there, really there, she was alive!
