Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

1 Drops of Jupiter on Mon Sep 23, 2013 10:39 pm

In the wakes of late September, autumn had finally reached the bright-lighted city, the smell of it sweeping over the woman of darkness's breathing space as she walked amongst the patchy soil of her territories. The sounds of the traffic crowded streets buzzed in the back of her ear canals, strengthened slightly as she tuned them out to hear the music off into the mere distance. She could see back into time at how everything had evolved in short periods, what the humans and even some of her kind had accomplished within those limits, and what she had proven along with it. It had all been the same loneliness left in her life on each birthday, but this, was different. There was something to be proud of herself besides the fear that struck her pack blind within their eyes when she would cross their presences. It had been like that since her exile and so forth, in yet it only made her stronger in time. As she was bred to become, she owned one of the strongest packs in all the nation, over-coming her goals and exciting them further as Bravehearts were no more. Their Alpha had fallen in the state of protection, and with them left to be along in the dust, Eternal Darkness had finally won. Sadly, along with it, Adonis had perished in hopes of murdering his brother himself. The lives she had seen come to an end never made her feel any different, never did, but she had him to thank for the gift he passed on to her, that she will soon pass down to the superiors below her. There was still much to learn and progress yet for the pack to take in, the maturities would need some aid, which never was an issue with the help she will be provided with at her side. Gabriel Braveheart, the name that left a bitter dry taste to her mouth had finally left the likes of life all together, and she was victorious. A small smile curled at the corner of her lips, eyes glistening under the dark night's moonlight as they shown a bright islamic emerald color. She had to hand it to him, he tried, and from what she had been told, his pack was something of value at some point. As much as she knew what it was like, it was none of her concern, for she was too busy dealing with her own whereabouts and business. Noctavia found herself at her goal's ending, all of the things she had fulfilled, a powerful pack beneath her control, great strength, intelligent warriors, the death of Gabriel, what more could she ever want? It felt strange to her though, as if something were still left missing in her life, but she knew not of what it was, and was too careless to keep bothering about it already before her mood would diminish into ashes.

Like every year, the week of the harvest moon rose from the ground quicker than she had expected, bringing forth another year to her forgotten age. There were things she would not reverse in order to change that moment, she wanted to stay there, and fly on towards more things that still hang above her head. Moving forwards, the sweeps of the ends of her dress lightly dragged across the lawn of the park as she walked, covering the trail behind her in obsidian silk layers. Along her frame worn a slim-fitted and custom made corset to hug her lean torso and chest perfectly aligned and comfortably cut. She had it done by common professionals, strictly providing and supporting with details needed in order to look strikingly beautiful as well as able to breath normally. They understood well of what she granted them, and she acknowledged them for the work they did in order to make her dress what she originally wanted. Her shoulders were accompanied by the same material as the cascading dress skirt that reached the ground behind her, cuffing just enough of her skin to not reveal anything inappropriate like she had asked. Her face was dashed with a sprinkle of silver dust at the lids of her eyelids to bring out the color in her hues, hidden the rest of her face in an ebony crystal coated mask to rest over her nose and the tops of her cheeks. Her hair fell in its usual best, only slightly touched with the hands of her own to be teased here and there so her waves would spring into neat long curls and pinned back from her face. It had been a year of course since the last time she had dressed so elegantly for a simple masquerade, but by living in the city of over a century, things shifted and it became the glitzier, the higher authority you prove money-wise. If it were her decision, it would have been the same anyway, and so it never bothered her on how to dress to fit the part after adapting to the life long before it became a tradition. As she looked upon the park, she found it as beautiful as it had been last year, only a bit less occupied by as many people thankfully. She knew there would be no other werelings in sight for the evening, it was too close to the harvest moon, one of the most powerful full moons in the entire year, in which was her birthday. Thankfully for her, the voices had calmed enough for her to not growl for the night as they always did in the week of waiting. In that week, she freed her mind to think of what it wanted, whether it be dead or the rarity in life. She watched as men flashed small glances over their date's shoulders, averting her gaze in a slight smile to see elderly couples pass her and arrange closer to the seating area while the younger mortal groups around the age of her appearance danced slowly at the large gazebo in the center of the park. Lights and lanterns lined all the gates and tinkly little bulbs drooped from the banisters that edged at the ceiling's base, lacing in and out of the wooden porch bars. The music of the masqueraded evening filled the september air, quieting everything else as the duos danced gracefully in gowns and suits, masked of their wondrous identities.

As the woman walked over the stoned path, flowers of all colors surrounded her as she was standing at the garden's edge of desire, brushing over the patches with the end of her dress lightly. The partially completed moon shown its reflection at the darker parts of her irises, shining them a brighter, supernatural green, providing a lighter shade of her pale pinkish skin. The bubbling of the fountain at her side made her thoughts curious, the passing and darkness of time making her wonder further than she already had. She had been waiting for her date to arrive, the Delta in fact; Daiken. His name practically made a ghost of a smile peek at the sides of her mouth, remembering back to the day they met, the tattoo she received that he had made all the way back to the moment of when he kissed her hand at her doorway goodnight in his acceptance to her offer. He was one of the few that did not care of what others believed, he, and Ryker, her Beta, were the ones to look passed all the rumors and her ridden past to get to know her more than anyone had ever had. Though, with Daiken, she felt at ease, comfortable about revealing more than just her past and present, or even the hopes of her future as an Alpha of a populated, strong pack. Where was he, what had he been up to, what all has he done in the time of his acceptance and now? These questions swirled and made her anxious, as well as hesitant as it became foreign to her mind to think such things of a simple man of worth. She had to admit though, he was different, yes, much different than the rest. Travis showed dominance over her, but he was to never be her 'friend' per say, Daiken had filled that position the night they took on a herd of deer together. He was her friend, and she hoped later on, that bond would tighten into something unbeatable, maybe even great friends, she thought. Standing there, she leaned closer to a twisted, dark barked tree that wired around in spirals much like one seen in a fairytale garden, accompanied by the noises of the night and fountain at her side. It was a beautiful setting, and so she was the only one to be hidden within the shadows with the support of her dark beauty. Waiting patiently, the Alphess kept quiet, speaking louder in her mind than one would think as she stood there, eyeing the small migrating crowds that filed out of the gazebo to leave just two other dancing couples. She sighed, looking passed the gates in hopes of seeing him near.

It was getting late and he hated that, a gentleman was always supposed to be the first one to attend to a date, party, dance, or any event. He still needed to shower and remove all the stains and oil from his arms and hands. His work clothes were almost black from their usual blue color. The Delta shifted and rushed to the hotel. He had only 20 minutes left to do everything he needed to be as elegant and presentable as he could. His left arm hurt a lot and he needed to have the broken bone arranged for tonight, but he had no time to grab a snack or anything. ‘Shit! Why this happened today? I am an idiot, I should had waited and finish it another day. Not the day of the masquerade...’

Reaching the hotel he shifted again and ran into the back door to the elevator, reaching his room and closing the door strongly. He removed his clothes and jumped into the shower not caring of the temperature of the water, washing quickly and neatly his hair and skin, cleaning his nails and everything to not show any sing of the work he was doing.  He closed the running water and ran to step out and take a towel, almost falling against the toilet and holding from the shower’s curtain, breaking the upper part and falling against the cold floor with a growl. “God damn it!!” Daiken stood up quickly hearing Slayer laughing at him as he dries his hair and body, taking the suit he selected for tonight and slipping into it quickly. He ran to the door and closes it with a lock after taking the keys of his car, pressing the button of the elevator frantically. “Shit!” He rushed back to his room almost breaking the door and took the leather black square box and his mask over the table, returning to slip into the elevator’s closing doors.

Daiken ran outside shifting reaching the shadows to get there as quickly as he legs allow him, feeling his forearm still hurting but not as much as before, feeling it slowly healing. He reached the entrance and spotted a beautiful Alphess all in black stepping in, her emerald eyes shining in contrast with the back mask and dress. Wow... Such a dress... She certainly paid for it to be made. It reflected her entirely. A big smile spread across his face as he shifted back and arranged his tie and black mask over his face, hiding the box inside his coat and he moved quietly over the grass towards the tree, stopping a few feet behind her. He was glad he never forgot how to act like a real Kazeshini assassin, moving into the night like wind itself without being noticed by anyone. A wicked thought slipped into his mind as he remembered Sonnet 18 from William Shakespeare, the thought transforming into words that moved softly and easily towards her ears, making his presence to be known. “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate...” He smiled slightly as she turned, bowing in respect. “Good evening Alphess. My dearest apologies for being this late.” He straightened again and admired her dress now more closely. “May I say thee look splendid tonight? I am flattered to have such honor to be the companion of this demoiselle.” He took her hand softly and kissed the back of it like usual for his ancient manners, releasing it slowly to place his hand inside his coat. “You dress is itself a piece of art, as well as your mask, but, allow me to add, it misses something...” Slowly he pulls out the leather box he almost forgot and opened it in front of her, revealing a necklace and a pair of matching earrings made of diamonds and emeralds. “Happy birthday, Alphess.” He passed so much time in the shop deciding between smoked black diamonds and the emeralds, but this one just remembered him of her eyes, matching the shining green pieces of the jewelry. He really hoped she would like them and accept his present.

From her position, her eyes trailed over the constellations scattered across the autumn dark blue skies, topped with the light orange harvest half moon to real in people with its warming pigment. Comfortably alone for a few moments, the feeling of someone of her pack neared, and her ears slightly tuned their hearing pattern to chime in on the footsteps behind her. Leaving it to her surprise, she smiled as she knew who it was, and slowly turned to meet the eyes of a demonic amber spark, lively specks of aqua bending at the corners within them. Shakespeare's own slipped from his sharp tongue and into her ears, making a small grin turn her pale pink lips to curl, emeralds reflecting more towards what was in his hands. Widening her eyes slightly, she glanced back up at him and smiled, chocking out a laugh of happiness, "Oh my god... Dai-.. T-They're beautiful.. I.. um.. I don't know what to say.. Thank.. Thank you so much." She finally found the words to say, slowly taking the necklace to stroke a black nailed pale finger over it delicately, tracing the outline of its perfectly cut emeralds as it was bordered with a marvelous silver jewel. They were of the same color as her very eyes, as well as her favorite besides opal, grinning helplessly as she hid the surprise in her tone, "You didn't have to go through such trouble. It's not even my birthday yet, not until a few more days at the least.. I wouldn't have expected out of all werelings for one like you to be a literate man.. A bit cheesy if I would say, hah, not every day I'm around a bit of Shakespeare." Noctavia gazed into his eyes, softened by the feelings that overwhelmed her spirits for that entire day. That day she was always in the greatest of moods, as it was her favorite time of the year, but this, was better than all of them. For once, she wouldn't be lonely for the occasion, at least, and she could more or less have someone to possibly spend it with if he were wiling to, "Forget it, it's beautiful. Would you mind helping me by putting it on?" She said to replace her words from before as it almost sounded off, arching her brows curiously for him to take her small request for easy aid.

Knowing he would help her, the Alphess did a slow turn of her body to face her back towards him, reaching her hands behind her neck to lift all her long professionally-done waves up so he could see the latch. Once it was on, she released her hair and placed two light fingers over the necklace to caress it and bring it closer for examination, seeing the quality done within each dip and cut of the diamonds. It had to be expensive of course, surely more than she would expect, however, she thanked him anyway and turned back around to gaze into hi eyes once more before smoothing down her dress-skirt, "It's a pleasure seeing you as well, Daiken, and I assure you, it's not a problem at all. Your present makes up for all of what you've done, and I thank you more than anything for showing up. I had hoped you have been keeping up with your duties and fulfilling them properly in your new position, yes?" She questioned him, tilting her head slightly as she peered at him behind her black tainted mask. It made her curious of what he had been doing while she was locked away for business around the pack and what's happened to her as of recent. There was so much to tell, so much to pass on to someone at the least. Now that Ryker had been of absence for a while, she never dipped in to search for him, as she was to trust him as her Beta, but the thought was always there to pinch at the tip of her tail. As for the rest, all she could think about was her Delta and how he was with fitting in to his new climates. The luxury had been known to get to some's heads more than once, but from the looks of it, he carried himself nicely as expected, cleaned in a suit of dashing dark navy, fledged with a charming smile like always. In the dark, the two shown beautifully in front of each other as the moon's harvest glow shaded their bodies, mirroring the image of it's palish orange in their own bright wolf-like hues. As it came so close to the moon, their wolves were predicted to be at their strongest after preparing for a month in advance like they did every month before, coming closer to exposed by the color of their human-suited bodies, the same explanation behind Noctavia's emerald hues a more brighter green than normal, seeing Daiken's just like she thought, "You are not late at all, actually. I am actually early, for the event has just begun a few moments ago. There's reasonable things to do around here, more activities for the mortals of course, but there's dancing, and always the occasion stroll through the park if you wish. I tend to stay off to the sidelines if I'm not with another, so I leave it up to you as to what you would like to do. There is also food towards the center seating area too, just for a short warning." She smiled, holding her posture at a dominant level far above him, keeping things professional between them as there was to be no relations besides packmates, she thought.

A huge smile spread across his face looking she liked his present. Her surprise for him being ‘literate’ a bit hard, but he understood it. He never showed that with his way of dressing or acting. Tanken was always the elegant one craving for luxuries. “It is not a trouble at all Alphess. I am glad you liked them and that I had the opportunity to bring this for tonight. I… I always loved a good literature. My father always taught us to be as wise and studied as we could, not only fighters and assassins.” He smiled again with her request, no doubting a second in helping her with such simple task. “Of course.” He took the jewelry in his hands and waited for her to turn, thanking silently she helped him with her hair, thinking he will ruin such elegant arrangement of her beautiful black hair if he touched it. He placed the emeralds around her neck softly and locked it. He looked incredible and he was very glad he was here tonight.

“Of course, Alphess, everything in order. I will inform you if anything happens.” He bit his tongue from telling what he was doing in the free time he could find. He still wanted it to be a surprise, but didn’t know exactly when to tell her. Maybe after the masquerade he would be able to tell her, all depending in how things work out tonight. He smiles secretly at the pain in his arm as it healed slowly, like revealing his secret doings right before coming here. Daiken nodded once and the blend his waist to make an elegant bow in front of her, his injured arm blended over his abdomen with his hand slightly opened and the other extending towards her in question. “It is usual for me to let the lady choose, but if you give me such permission, please accept my invitation to go for dance, if you like…” His eyes looking down returned to meet hers, his a bit daring accompanied with a small half-smile. He would love to dance with such beauty, but it all depended on her now. He was a bit rusted in dancing in such an wealthy place and such orchestra, but dancing was like riding the bicycle, you never forget it. Hearing a Waltz starting in the background he asked once more. “Alphess Noctavia. May I have this dance?”

Please, Daiken.” Her hand rose and waved him off to hush his charmed words, slowly letting it die off to lay gracefully upon his that reached out to her in the question to dance.A sense of electricity rank through veins and her heart skipped behind its cold boney cage that hid underneath the dress’s material and her pale glowing skin. “There is no need to refer to me by my rank no more. You’re a friend to mine, meaning it is best to call me Noctavia now on. I’m glad to see a man of taste offer me with such a pleasant gift on a night like this, and I thank you, a several times for the spark of happiness you’ve given me tonight. Your father taught you well to be a gentlemen then I must add, and as for your intelligence.. we will just have to see about that.” Her words seemed so easy, meaningfully mastered to hide her emotions and gently broadened with a hopeful smile - eyes twinkled and brightened - wistfully swept away as she lead him towards the stage, loosening her control so he could take the upper-hand in taking her there. In acceptance and complete relaxed comfort, the Alphess slid her hands into the correct position by memory, experience only driven from the past’s beyond. Being born under the Alpha’s blood long ago, she was taught these things naturally in that century as it was claimed to be something common for the mortals to attend, as well as herself when things like their true identities would be disguised. Royalty practically ran through her very veins - grasped at and prepped with high intelligence and inherited genes that made her unstoppable. It was a perfect match; breed into the definition of beauty and power all in one to create the Alphess the pack bowed to at her feet. Only time was out of their benefit, and she was the one to turn the tables - and she released her wraith upon them centuries ago in that same week.

She could only take herself back into that moment, the first shift, how it all began, and even before them she could barely remember the times she would listen to the whispers that told her evil things, faintly keeping them stored to use for torture techniques on the innocent when she would hit the painful age. A sinful smile washed over her features when the music slowed her back to reality, starting up the dance into a one-two step rhythm like she was taught from the basics. Her lips did not move - and so her mind did it all with its joyed whispers of her wolf, compelled by her own rather instead, Sure you can keep up with an ole’ wolf like me... brute?... Over the dance floor swept the end of her dress as it did upon the grassy floor of the park, glided and moved swiftly around as their bodies remained in sync to the classical background. Lights of all kinds shown upon them, only to be accompanied by an empty gazebo and wonderful music at its best for them alone. It was wonderful, how their paces instantly found each other in the thick fog of focus, beautifully working around while their hands stayed in their places and feet movement clicked in place, Not bad... When did you learn how to dance like so...? And excuse me about before.... I’m glad to hear your progress, hopefully your horizons will stretch in the social department wouldn’t you think..? There is much to be seen..., and I hope that you have found yourself settled nicely in your new room...For some it can be a lonely road, but eventually they get better after meeting some of the rest around the pack territories.. Her mind easily whispered into his, tilting her head slowly so it’d rest underneath his chin, pressing her body professionally at a distance of an inch between them so he wouldn’t feel discomfort.

Daiken took her hand very slightly with his as she led him to the stage, following her happily until it was his turn to lead her, which he did with all the courtesy he could project. Shivers moved along his body when she slid her hands and took his shoulder and hand softly, his own moving to take her hand and back in return, barely touching her skin and dress. His expression was serious but relaxed, even when in the inside he was happy as ever for being able to dance with such a lady like her. It had been more than a century since he danced with someone. His mother taught him some of the most important details regarding respect towards women, what they liked and what didn’t before she died. It was not the same for all, but some things never change. His father was the one who taught him how to dance with suck an orchestra, how to move and touch the partner with the finest manners. He was a very respectful and honored Alpha, one to be admired and place as role model. One of the reasons he stopped dancing was his father’s assassination. The memories drove back every time he heard the classical music he loved, but now, for some reason, the only feeling he felt now was happiness and honor.

A half smile moved his mouth slightly hearing her voice inside his head. ‘Lets see if I remember how.’ His words were soft and respectful, which slid easily to her mind just like before when they first met. He moved with her and the rhythm around them, never missing a step nor doing an extra one. His smile became kinder as he looked at her, her eyes shining brightly under the lights as well as the emeralds on her neck and ears, but faintly compared to her hoes. Her dress moves softly and slowly with her, like following them as they danced. Her black hair falling and dancing slightly at her back like dark waves. ‘No need for apologies, Noctavia. I was taught when I turned 17 by my father back in 1871, but I learned a few things as a child when I watched him dancing with my mother... I do actually. I already meet some of the members of Eternal, especially warrior as I had been training with some of them... My room is very comfortable and suitable. I already had the time to bring some things and buy some others in the last days. You are more than welcome to come anytime you need my assistance.’ He kept dancing with her as long as the music continued. Letting her lead and then leading her from time to time. Doing slow and delicate spins together, and then leading her to do them alone, never losing her hand. He wanted to ask her right away. He had wanted to ask her since he was in her room for the first and only time but never found the opportunity, now he had it, but he was still not sure if it was still too soon. His strange amber eyes looked directly at hers and his smile reappeared. “Noctavia...” He sighed silently and closed his eyes, knowing it was too soon. Maybe at the end of the night, or maybe some days after, depending on how everything turned out tonight. Shutting his mouth shut and biting his tongue, he opened his eyes again and hoped she will not ask for the rest of the sentence.

When the music stopped, he let go of her and with one step back, he blended his waist and bowed in thanks for the dance. Looking back at her, he straightened and moved to her side to walk to the sides of the place, waiting for her to move first. Reaching the end of the dance floor, a waiter dressed elegantly in a white and black tuxedo, offered them a glass of champagne. Nodding once, Daiken took two of the long glasses and handed one to Noctavia. The gold particles floated up and down with the tiny bubbles of the cold liquid. Lifting his glass slightly, he took the chance to make a small toast. “For Eternal Darkness and our Alphess.”

Noctavia was more or less impressed with his display of dance - not that she worried over it, as she could only be the older one out of the two and nicely hand over her aid if needed. As the Alphess of such a strong pack, she knew these things were only little to her present, but even little things made strong differences such as remembering tiny events that happened within the past that brought furthermore experience on her shoulders. She could still surge back through her mind of all the times she had danced with princes, ones of all ages, but completely mortal. Not one showed the signs of a wereling, but it was things then like so that made her the stronger one of all to hold back the hunger - the indescribable feeling to slaughter at the open advantage. As they danced, it made the area feel like they were the only living ones there, as they were actually dead inside, no more a human, but everlasting souls to walk upon the land in disguise. Without their souls to be taken, and exchanged, they'd be normal, not an ounce of uniqueness to add them as they would only be a simple human to die off in a limited number of years. From her eyes, she pictured the image of them, just them in a room of black, dancing to no music, yet still hold the grace and elegance they revealed through their movements. It defined beauty to its highest degree indeed. The name that echoed off his lips made her eyes shoot open to look at him, swaying to the classical piece that violins and piano played around them. His smile made her smile, bubbling inside a warmth that could not be put to words - as much as she tried - Noctavia could not read within the black and white lines of what all it meant when she looked into those eyes of such color. That feeling, so foreign, yet so comforting. He had seemed to mistaken himself as he was about to speak, but she ignored it as well, maybe it was just something that slipped. He was thinking of her, but why? Why on earth would someone ever want to think of a beastly maiden that only created destruction, a power that no one else could destroy?

When the music deceased, she graced her hand to fit into his as they were escorted off the stage for a bit of a break. Taking the kind gesture of a drink, she humbly nodded her head in a careless thanks to the waiter and glared at him with her green eyes to keep moving. "For my pack." The Alphess smiled and tilted her glass to clink against his, ringing out a noise that made her eardrums cringe, but her expression steadied to stay constant as she leaned her head back to sip the sweet substance down in one lap. After placing down the glass, she took a deep breath and situated her dress so it would not ride up to where it bunched at to normal, leaving it to drag off behind her as it was meant to do. She could not think of much for conversation, but as her attention worked its way to find the maze that coursed through the garden and around the golden park fountain, she smiled and instantly moved towards it. As she took off her heels, she glanced back at him with a smirk, she took off in a light jog while pinching up the skirt of her dress so she would not trip. Noctavia laughed, provoking him to follow slowly after as she ran through the damp grass without a care to those that could see her. The mask that hid her face gleamed as well as her eyes under the moonlight, radiated with a sleek shine across its black and gold front. Her smile was blinding white, and her skin was a beautiful pale to match with the clash of her black masquerade dress. Weaving through the maze, she dragged along the rest of her dress and laughed happily as the weather felt great against her skin. If she were to shift, she would be even happier, but they were in the public, and such things were to never be revealed before the innocence unless they were isolated. Every wereling should know that, especially those that didn't want their own kind being discovered.

He clicked softly the glass against hers and drank slowly the champagne. Tasting with his high senses the tiny particles of gold inside the drink. The idea of ‘gold’ inside the champagne was always amusing for him. Like if the humans liked to appear as pieces of luxury. Finishing it a bit after the Alphess, he placed it over the small round table. He looked at her working hard to hide the smile that wanted to appear by the simple fact he was with her tonight, that she was there as beautiful and powerful as always. He looked at her thin and soft body that hid so much force as she walked to the garden. A light of amusement moved along him as she took off her heels. He always wondered how women could walk so easily and elegant with that things. Her laugh was like golden bells in heaven. Daiken loved to see her smile and hear her laugh with the true feeling of happiness. He couldn't prevent the smile to now appear as he felt the need to go after her as she ran away. She was not just beautiful, she was perfect.

He hurried and looked around slightly to make sure that no one was looking as he speeded up and passed her quietly and as swiftly as he was taught to do as an assassin. Taking advantage of her distraction he moved right in front of her and stopped to trap her slowly and softly with his right arm around her waist. With a swift movement the Delta made her spin with all the care he could, making her lose the balance of her feet and make her body turn to rest her back over his arms, holding firmly and secure her body from falling. Strands of her soft hair fell freely from her elegant coiffure. His own hard body leaned over hers, his face very close to hers, their lips almost touching. Waves of warmth and excitement ran strongly all along his body, making his nerves scream with desire to kiss the lips of such a dame. Clenching his jaws and swallowing quietly, he let the trapped air leave his lungs to relax and suppress his need and want. His greenish amber eyes suddenly changed into an aqua tone thinking if he should take the risk and kiss her, or simple leave it straightly professional as she said before. If he would have been still a Loner, he would have kissed her without thinking it once, but she was his Alphess now, and respect was always first before anything else. Felling like if he had been holding her like that for decades, he retreated his head with a tiny half-smile. “My apologies.” He straightened his body lifting hers slowly to let her stand again. Releasing his hold from her, he backed away a step and hoped she didn't feel uncomfortable as her personal space was violated by the Delta.

Her emerald hues widened slightly as she was swept away, twirled and dipped back towards the ground by his strong grasp. Peering into his charming gaze, her mouth lay left agape as it was so close to reaching his - and so the color began to rise upon her cheeks. However, with that time and place specifically, the light did not cast over her, thus she was still hidden beyond the eyes could see. The only thing she knew he could see, was her eyes behind the mask, and the possible light color of her face where it was how shadowed. She looked to him with bewilderment, though slowly her expression shifted in retreat back to her normal smirk-like grin, "It's alright, just a bit unexpected." When released back to her original position, she kept her arms still safely around his neck until she was sure that she had gained her balance, ...Drop it... Noctavia looked away after letting go, rolling her eyes to her wolves as she silenced them to not speak. Their whispers could not be helped, they would soon be returned with their waiting by whatever they were pleased with under the full moon. Her thoughts ran wild under the control and thanks to them, making her take a deep breath to just ignore it all. The Alphess knew herself sure enough that there was nothing to be going on between this relationship, however it almost angered her that her thoughts seemed to think differently.

While brushing off the dirt from her dress and lifting it up like she had before she started off towards here, Noctavia tilted her gaze to avert up towards him, "Excuse my thoughts, but have you ever wondered what life would be like if we weren't allowed to live this long, Daiken?" Slowly her feet started to walk over the stoned path that lead into the garden, freeing away her eyes to glance over the several vibrant colored flowers that stretched over the ground, "What things could we ever earn in such a short life-span, I mean.. Of course my age has grown wildly since my birth, but have you have thought about what it would be like to actually die? Where would we go, and all the things that happened were no longer important?" As the Alphess moved along his side, she exchanged small glances up at him to make sure to if he were listening. She didn't really mind if he weren't, she didn't care, but the thought of such a question always made her wonder most. Immortality was a great gift, and it was one of the few things she ever praised about her life, including her pack. "What if we never existed, as if the term and or species 'wereling', did not exist? We'd be mortal, maybe not even. We'd be... boring." She said with a bored face, shaking it off slightly to eye a favorite flower of hers as known as the white peony. Her fingers grazed just over the soft petals that ran around its center, a match almost to her light colored skin. Moving along, she made her way at his side towards the grass and sat down carefully, patting and smoothing the skirt of her dress to hide her legs beneath her as she stared up at him.

The Delta sighed and looked at her as she moved along the garden. Maybe he made a mistake by coming here with her, alone. He wanted to tell her everything, to do what he was just about to but couldn’t. He wanted her, just for him. He had never been selfish, but now, he was. He wasn’t going to endure looking at her with someone else feeling what he felt for her, but what he was going to do if she didn’t feel the same, if she loved someone else. He couldn’t just fight with the lucky one who got her love, or just leave the pack without explanation. ‘Why do you care so much about her. He is not worth of it.’ Slayer’s unnecessary comment sounded inside him. ‘Please, Slayer. I know you also like her, and that you have interest in her wolf.’ ‘I don’t, Daiken, and that will not change. Let’s see what you do when she crushes your heart like a cucaracha.’ Daiken sighed again and knew he will never win a fight with him.

Lifting up his gaze and putting his thoughts away he looked at her. He followed with his eyes her black dress contracting with all the flowers, taking a notice at the white one she spent the longest time watching and taking in her scent. He didn’t knew what flower it was, he never cared much in leaning the names of them, but he believed he saw it before, somewhere, and made a mental note to remember it if he ever got the chance to give her a bucket. Daiken then looked down when she sat and took a step forwards to answer. “Indeed. It will be boring, and more complicated, but with that, easier. So much easier. You know. Humans are very naïve. We have the knowledge and wisdom no mortal has thanks to the decades, centuries, millenniums we could life, if we are not killed first, but being stupid and naïve also has its advantages. You don’t worry about details and specifications that life has. Look.” He turned slightly to see all the mortals walking quickly to the dance floor, to their cars, to the food so another will not steal the last piece of desert they wanted. Talking to one another, through phones, or just sited alone waiting for a blue prince to come a ask them to dance. He smiles slightly looking at their short but with that, valuable lives. “You see what all of them have in common? They will always care about time. About what they forgot, what they have to do, what they didn’t. Looking at their watches and or phones as it’s getting late. They try to enjoy what they can, but at the same time they are slaves of the clocks and time. They know one day their life will end, as well as the life of their loved ones. That makes them value their life more and more as time passes. Humans crave to do and see everything with less than a century of life, if they get there. They grow old and envy the kids that are just starting to live, but, most of them, get tired with a few 50 years and already want their life to end. Believe they had seen enough and do what they came to do here on Earth. They die happy at the end. They believe their time has come and they can’t do anything about it. They could finally rest and be in, what they call, heaven.  Happily ever after...” He chuckled thinking in how stupid that sounded, but at the same time, how inviting that sounded. Looking back at her with a small smile he continued. “You knew that, everything in life is never free? You need to pay for it. Every happy moment, every gift, every dream, you pay some price later, or you paid it before. Why do you think this little word, is not already highly populated with so many humans, animals, werewolves, vampires, that born every minute? Because as someone born, other dies. Is a damn cycle. Dreaming. The price to that, is the idea that you will never have it, or that you will need to work hard for it to be accomplished. If it will not be hard to achieve, we would never have to dream it. That you have luck and find something on the floor, means you lost or will lose something. Is very interesting if you think about it, but why do I mention this? Humans, mortals, have a determined time to gain and lose things until they have to pay as well for the life destiny gave to them when they born. We, immortals, have eternity to gain and lose everything, and at some point, we will die too. Not by time, but by something worse. With the ‘gift’ of eternity, the price comes as well, by suffering for far much time than humans, and to then be killed by something, or someone.” Returning to be serious as always, but with the glimpse of his soft smile still in his face, Daiken felt a slow breeze moving slightly his dark hair. Looking down at Noctavia he unbuttoned his jacket and took it off, slowly placing it over her shoulders. Taking a sit at her side, he looked up at the night sky and the moon that seamed for far much immortal than them. How many lives and eras it had to endure until now? “I am not saying I wish to be a mortal, or to be killed and be gifted with death. But I had endured more than what I wish. Maybe more than what I had gained until now. Could it be that the balance between gain and lost doesn’t matter in our case because we have eternity? Or, maybe I am just selfish and wished for more than what I deserve.” Smiling he looked at her again, pain or anger hidden in his eyes, maybe a mixture of both. “Sorry if I am just babbling.”

Her bare shoulders were kindly touched underneath his scent, dismissing the bitter cold breeze to be hidden beneath the dark jacket he was wearing. She smiled faintly at the kind gesture, striking a dark green gaze sternly into his own as she nodded slowly along to his trail of words. Noctavia hinted towards the more important details he intricately described without trying. It was easily revealed through his softened features and emotions that whirled around the vibrant colors of his strangely shaded eyes. She could not describe such a color, as it was almost a mix of everything that changed every so often to different atmospheres. The woman almost laughed at herself as she smelt the small tinges of her pack finally embedding into his scent, slightly enjoying it as she knew he was finally settling without having to ask. As their leader, she agreed with many things upon the topic, knowing greatly of how the mortals displayed their actions in a processed cycle; the cycle of life. It was something she could never understand, yet sympathize with all as well. She was simply a wereling, an immortal creature in disguise as a mortal's mere existence. If they were to be discovered, that would be the end for them. The humans would put ideas in others heads, to populate the truth with evidence of their species, exposing it to the public in the hopes of ridding them all together. It was the Alphess's one and only fear.

Like something had snapped into two, her thoughts shattered over the dark eerie floor of her mind and she glanced up, "I don't mind the babbling, actually, for once. I tend to get rather annoyed with it on a usual basis, perhaps its because I actually enjoy talking to you instead, Daiken. That's very rare, in this case, consider yourself..." Her pupils rolled slightly to the side of her eyes, letting a piece of obsidian silk swing passed its barrier to hide the side of her face almost from his presence as she thought, "Special." She said slyly with a turn to her head while peering back to him with certainty behind her faciel expression. He body was shadowed through the background's pale glory of a moon - and as he stood there, the eyes of greatness could not be taken away. Tracing his every muscle she found see visibly from a distance, Noctavia watched him for a short moment with a bit of a smirk at the corner of her soft lips, "I assure you, Daiken, that I know lots about the mortals. I've lived with them for longer than you could probably imagine. They live and die like the rest of the living, and as you have sad, eventually, yes, we will die, but let's hope that won't be until long from now. Whatever life has given to me, or thrown to my direction, I've dodged it and moved around it order to get where I stand today. Think about the idea if I weren't to be able to get passed such difficulties, where would be in this world if I had not done them?" Her brows slowly rose in curiosity, traveling inside her mind a million waves and striking conclusions or predictions as to where she would be.

"Imagine if I weren't to of met all the people that have given me a curve ball at life to try and fiddle with to get to this second... with you, Daiken." She whispered softly for it to be overthrown with the song-filled whistles of the light autumn wind that blew onwards around them.

The revelation was all of too much to take in as she began to over think her wondrous questions that hung in the air. This is where she wanted to be in life, a pack to rule, and a friend, or now two to trust, and of course; power. The things she was able to be gifted with and taught through none other than the enemy's blood was probably the greatest thing besides having a strong pack to come to her. And now she was here, spending another day in the immortality of her long-lived years that would go one forever. Eternity was a long time, but she knew if she lived it the way she would want it to be done, then she would do anything in her path to strive towards that goal. It made her smile to herself, slowly reaching out her dainty hand for the Delta to take hold and lift her back upwards. When she would stand, Noctavia softly grinned to him and lightly tugged the jacket a bit closer to her exposed skin. Her breath could be seen as its icy puffs of exhaled clouds flew around her as she released the air out of her lungs. The night was turning colder, as would the rest of the land as winter was setting in close. Before she would know it, autumn would be a speck in the past as winter's snowy blankets would devour the leaves over night. It was strange to see how fast life went by, for even for herself she could not believe that she had made it this far on her own, and praised her self being to what she accomplished. Easing her nimble fingers to embrace his bicep, she made herself comfortable at his side while locking her hands around his arm in a sort of escort, "I would believe the night is quickly ending.." She said sadly, feeling the pain in her voice slowly decease as she shook it off. For the rest of the night, she would most like bathe in a hot shower and slip into something comfy before heading back out. Her plans were very limited at this time of the year. With the change of weather, the Alphess knew it would be cutting short to finding supply and shoppers will be filling the street for Christmas. Halloween was her birthday, and harvest moon, the strongest yet, but only time will tell as to what her wolves would have in store. Her inner wolf chuckled in unison, and it made her almost cackle as she could already begin to imagine what cruel things they would want to do. They seemed to get even more extreme each passing year, but only her other side would remember, and she envied it terribly, "Care to walk me back to my quarters, my Delta?" With everything she had was recently feeling inside her chest and mind, it felt almost natural to call him her's, but foreign, and almost off at the same time. Looking blankly up at him, her eyes softened their intensified green to a darker shade, smiling half-way.
