Her newly cut hair was tied back into a high ponytail in a lazy manor, stray hairs escaping the binder and falling to frame her face. She wore a recently bought white t shirt with an X pattern in the front across her chest along with a pair of skinny jeans and black leather boots. The heels stuck and sank occasionally in the mud when she stepped along the slow moving creek, annoying Melissa slightly. She'd just come from the shopping district and overgone a makeover, then came here rather than venture on towards her new home. It was all still strange to her, and the stares from her new packmates weren't exactly welcoming.
She'd not yet met her Alphess Noctavia or any Eternal werelings except one. It was a simple omega who had met her in the lobby, escorting her to a room that was now hers. He gave her a key and simply said to give him a call if she needed anything, excusing himself and calling her Elite Melissa. She thought it was strange, still did. She'd walked slowly around her room, dropping the small duffel near the closet mirror doors. Set neatly on two of the fluffiest looking pillows Melissa had ever seen was a simple card, addressed to herself. The note was written with exquisite handwritting and simple read,
Welcome Elite Melissa,
Melissa was never called down to a meeting with her new Alphess. She gave up waiting and decided to take a shower, washing off her filth as well as try to escape the pains of her past. After she left the shower, wrapped firmly in a single towel, her old clothes did not appeal to her. She threw them away, calling for an omega to take them away immediatly. The only piece she kept was a shiny heart necklace and her favorite pair of pajamas. She wore the pajamas to town, first to her new haircut appointment, then to the store where she proceded to buy a new wardrobe, as well as numerous pairs of shoes and boots. Including the outfit she was wearing as of now. She sent the clothing back to the hotel, directing it to be delivered straight to her room. She had to admit, she rather liked telling someone to do something and having them do it right away. It saved her so much time.
And now she was here. Walking around her new territories, familiarizing herself with the land. Or at least that's what she told herself that's what she was doing. In reality though, she was thinking about the past and the friends she'd left behind. She hadn't seen a single packmate take the same route as her, and she couldn't help but wonder where they went. Even her past elite partener was gone, as well as her friend Kaiko. she'd came here alone, and it seemd she was not followed. It saddened her, but at the same time Melissa was filled with relief. She didn't want them to see who she'd become.
Melissa found herself a rather large rock, absent of moss, and decided to stop walking and sit for a while. She was aware of the rain that had just recently fallen, leaving everything slightly damp. No doubt she'd have an unatractive mark across her butt when she decided to get up. Dismissing the thought Melissa crossed her legs, propping her head on her elbow as she rested it on her knee. She gazed lazily at the creek, watching the bubbles that formed get carried away with the creek.
