Adventures Of The Heart (Vitani)

After walking the beautiful lass home, Travis was curious as to the feelings that swelled within his body. It was not only of lust or passion, but something foreign and strange. On his way back to his own room, he rested his back against the walls of the elevator, wedged in the corner. As the elevator sounded off its chime, the doors opened to reveal his floor. Pulling his door key from his pocket, he opened the door and walked into his room. Closing and locking it behind him, he made his way towards his bed, falling and lying on his stomach. As his face laid on the mattress, he stared to the wall. His hands tapped the mattress, making a beat as the Guardian fought with his thoughts and wolf. "You are pathetic, seeing you like this. It cannot be love Travis... No person will ever love you.." Travis rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling. "When did I ever say I was in love?" A deep chuckle rang int he walls covering his brain, "you don't have to say it dumbass... It's the look you get on your face, the stupid one.." Travis lifted himself from the bed. His eyes looked to the mirror as he walked there, standing before it. His emerald gaze searched the depths of his expressions, but could not find the one he spoke of. "I see nothing different.." he said as he made a goofy face. The wolf shook his head from side to side, "you cannot recreate a face that you only get when a certain someone is around.. moron, I tell you.." Splashing some water onto his face, he hung his head, still deep in thought. "Go to bed, think about this more later lover boy.." The Guardian moved from the bathroom, walking back to his bed and falling just as he had before. With the use of only his arms, he pulled himself to his pillows. Deep sleep came to the male almost immediately. His mind was too tired to keep him awake, forcing his eyes to close and stay sealed for many hours.

~ In The Afternoon ~

When the sun finally decided to blare through the closed curtains, only one portion of the covers revealed, it targeted his emerald eyes. Groggy and tired still, the male rolled over. The sun pushed through with its bright light, illuminating the room as a whole. Groans of displeasure and anger seeped from his lips. Forearms planted to the mattress, lifted his body from the comfortable position he had slept in all night. Rolling off the side, he stood to his feet and headed for the shower once more. The smell of smoke and sex still clung to his skin, hair, and clothes. Stripping the material from his muscular, fit body, he stepped into the shower. As the particles and memories slipped from his rugged exterior, he ran his hands through his locks. Applying the three in one shampoo, condition, and body wash, he rubbed himself to be brand new and clean.Turning off the water, he shook his head from side to side, flinging all excess water from his head and splashing against the already drenched walls. Grabbing the towel, he dried off his body and then moved to his hair. Taking the towel off his head, he looked to the mirror. Even after the rustle from the towel, his hair rested perfectly in place as he always kept it. Giving his reflection a smile, he walked out, tossing the towel over the sink. Making his way to the dresser, he started pulling clothes out to wear. When he was finally dressed, he looked to the window, pulling the shades back and allowing the sun more space among the room. He grabbed his things and walked from the room, heading for the elevator once more.

Stepping through the double doors, his mind was flooded with thoughts of the Doctor. He wished to taste her lips, or look into her eyes once more, perhaps a couple after that. Travis walked out of the double doors, and into the lobby. Making his way to the clerk behind the desk, he spoke softly. "Hello.." looking to the name tag quickly, "Samuel, would you be able to do me a huge favor?" The attendant nodded his head and gave a smile to the Guardian. "Please let miss Vitani Dark know that she has an important meeting in Finnaqua and must be there at precisely 5pm, and not a minute later." Samuel nodded his head and jotted the note down on a pad. Travis walked out of the hotel and onto the city streets. Another day filled with snow flurries fell from the sky. He looked up, catching a couple on his face and one evil flake in his eye. Lowering his head, he started to rub it, trying to get the sensation of pain away. When he finally started walking yet again, he saw the most appealing sight, right in the beautiful city of New York itself. A beautiful black and white Clydesdale was strapped to a sleigh. The sleigh itself was painted into holiday cheer colors. Golden rods propped the sleigh up off the ground. The driver was wearing a tuxedo and top hat. He decided to walk over to the man and ask a couple questions. After a short exchange between them, he smiled and exchanged hands with him. With a nod of his head, he smiled and made his way towards Finnaqua.

~ Right Before 5:00 pm ~

Standing at the entrance to Finnaqua, the snow was coming down harder than before. His emerald gaze searched for the female of his interest. He stood before the sleigh, waiting and watching. When she finally arrived, he held out a hand to her, "let me help you up Vitani." Taking her hand, he helped her into the sleigh and got in after. Once they were both inside, he wrapped a blanket over their legs and placed an arm behind her back. "Go ahead driver," he said softly as he looked to her, trying to gauge her feelings on this event.

"But I don't want 'good' and I don't want 'good enough' I want 'can't sleep, can't breathe without your love' Front porch and one more kiss, it doesn't make sense to anybody else. Who cares if you're all I think about.., I've searched the world and I know now.., it ain't right if you ain't lost your miiiinnd.. Yeah, I don't want easy, I want crazyy.. Are you with me baby? Let's be crazy!" Her voice rang throughout the empty office in harmonious tones to accent the lyrics she sang, sweeping peacefully with her broom with her ear-buds tucked under her hair and sliding on the little material of her socks covering her feet. She danced along to them, keeping her hair out of her face as it was pulled up into a high, messy bun at the top of her head. Closing her eyes, she pretended to use the broom as a mic-stand, singing into the handle to when the chorus would arrive and pulled a few moves as she swept up all the debris and dust from the floor. The outfit she wore was comfy, and fit her standards of a normal casual Sunday appearance as she held no reason but to finally spend her time wisely in tidying up a bit. Little did she know, her ear-buds blocked out every sound around her, annoying her wolf, but never leaving her counterpart with no other option but to listen along and mind its self in the darkness of her imagination. But before she could do anything to even bother turning down her music, Vitani sang along, that is until the scent of a human nearby moved closer down the hall. She didn't mind it, as she was used to smelling the mortals pass on by to the elevators down the hall, but her back soon met the door as it opened and she shrieked, jumping away in alarm until she slipped on her socks to fall rear meeting the floor with an 'oof' sound. The servant made an shocked expression and tried apologizing several times as he assisted her in helping her back onto her feet. She blushed at her clumsiness, dusting off her jeans and fixing her hair as the man explained that she was to meet a male in Finaqua. The doctor asked for a name, but the servant did not give her one, but only handed her a light pink rose before he disappeared, "-But.. wait!" She called down the hall, then looking left and right as she no longer knew where he had gone.

Huffing, she shook her head and peered down to the single rose between her dainty fingers, slowly making out a sweet smile as she brought it to her nose for a light sniff of its wonderful, relieving scent. Looking to the clock, Vitani saw that it was almost time to leave and quickly paced herself to gather her purse and step into her shoes. Closing her office door and leaving it unlocked for if Evie needed something, Vitani walked on out the hotel and into the streets, only to then dip in through the alleys when no one was around to finally unravel her body into that of a dark brown and peppered wolf's. Stretching out her legs first, she did not hesitate to start running towards the requested destination, the sparkle of hope shining as bright as the moon's glory in her eyes the faster she ran towards the neutralized territories. Once she had arrived, the fae ducked close as she neared the evergreen caked entrance to hide her figure away from the mortal's eyes. She sniffed the air for any familiar scents, targeting one to cause her maw to unfurl into a wide, gentle grin. Travis. Her wolf scoffed and sent a rumble of content to vibrate at the center of her chest, ...Looks like he finally remembered about us... perhaps he's trying to make up for the lost time.... Vitani ignored her wolf as she was too excited to shift back into her normal self, tucking closer into her coat to keep warm as she neared the horse drawn carriage before her. Her eyes widened at such a sight, opening her mouth in awe while her cheeks burned a faint shade of scarlet, "Oh my goodness..." Walking closer, she looked up at the large horse and put out her hand for the creature's snout to lower and nuzzle its lips against her palm as if it were searching for food. She giggled quietly as the horse flicked its ears forwards and back, pushing its snout against her shoulder in a happy greetings, "Hi there, fella." Looking passed the horse as she petted it gently, her eyes moved to meet Travis sitting quietly inside the carriage, sending him a shining set of white teeth before finally leaving the horse to be helped up into the seat, "W-woah.." She said unsteadily, trying to find her balance before Travis met his hands to hers in pulling her up. Sitting comfortably against him, Vitani smiled and leaned against his torso with her head tilted over his shoulder. She purred softly at the wonderful feeling of his warmth radiating onto hers, remembering pleasurably of the night they shared intimately between one another, "I never knew you were such a romantic, Mr. Manchester. I guess I underestimated you, please forgive me?" She said innocently, batting her eyelashes and laughing once before pressing closer as the feel of the carriage start to move. The horse whinnied happily, thumping its hooves into cold snow ridden ground, huffing out a puff of air from its large nostrils as it moved with ease. Tilting her lips into a half-smile to him, she reached up to kiss his cheek and leaned back in her seat, "How have you been? It's been a while since I saw you last."

With his arm wrapped tight around her shoulders, he stared ahead at the driver. He watched as he tugged on the reigns and the sleigh headed for the covering of Finaqua. Travis took in her scent, trying to hide the smile that was fighting to appear on his cheeks. This female, this doctor, she made him happy. He could see himself falling for her very quickly. But he knew that he would have to take his time. He wanted to make sure that she could or would, love him just as deeply or quickly. "Yes, I am one for romance. It's always kinda been my thing. I guess you could call it genetics.. My father swept my mother off her feet and constantly took her breath away. Call it what you will," he chuckled. Travis looked down to his hand and hers. Reaching his spare hand to her, he placed it in one of hers which rested gently on her lap. As he held it tight in his own, he could feel her heat. They shared in this moment, watching as the snow fell from the sky. But there were issues the female was feeling from his absence. He pondered for a moment, trying to find the perfect words to say it all. "My apologies Vitani, I have been very swamped with work and taking care of many things for the pack. The Alphess has been running me ragged, but I can assure you that you will be seeing more of me, whether you like it or not," he joked as he finally gave her his famous smile. Most women loved this look, the one that which showed his true feelings for them, or his pleasure in their company. This was the happiest the now old wolf, had felt for a long time. A small flake fell from the sky, delicately placing itself on her cheek. he gave a light chuckle as he broke their hands embrace and took it off her tender skin. Once the infiltrator was removed, he placed his hand back with hers. How he wished he could kiss her lips, to tell her how he was feeling, that there was no other girl that made him feel special like this, not since his original fling. "Vitani, I feel like there is something I must tell you.. well, a couple things actually." Travis paused for a moment, trying to hear words of wisdom from his wolf. But the beast seemed to be sleeping or ignoring his internal calls for help. Now that the Guardian was on his own, he found it important he told her the truth. "Vitani, I have not told a single soul this truth, but on the first night of my joining, I was greeted by your sister. She accepted me into the pack after we shared a kill and then we took a drastic step to our budding relationship. In her room we gave ourselves to each other, it was wild and like nothing I had ever experienced before.. until now." He stopped himself, stopping the words that wished to flow from his mouth. "As it turns out, we are just friends now, and I prefer it that way... You see.. there's this girl who I just can't stop thinking about. I think about her day in and day out, morning, night, afternoon and in my dreams. But before I can give myself to this amazing girl, I have to tell her the complete truth about me, my past, and my hopes for the future." Travis took another deep breath as he looked to their hands, unable to look at her gaze. He thought she would be sickened by his confession of sleeping with her sister, of having the most insane night with her. Noctavia and Travis, their lust was stronger than anything he had felt, but not than love. "I have loved before, twice actually... It was a very long time ago. When I was a young boy, I had no idea I was a wereling, not until I changed the first night. It was in that night I took a girl out to the park, for a night walk. I cared about her greatly, but when I felt the change happening, I told her to flee from me. But she was worried, and in her worry, she followed me. The wolf took over my body and killed her. I never forgave myself for such an occurrence. So I fled town, leaving family and friends in my wake. I went on a killing spree, killing humans for the sport of it until I found a pack. I joined the pack and met a wereling much like myself. She was wild and full of passion. She loved me and I turned to love her. But as it seems to go, my luck is never the best.." He looked into her silver hues, trying to find comfort in his next words. It had been so long since he had talked of this event or others for that matter. "She was killed by a human, he was skilled in hunting our kind. So once more, I went on a killing spree. I got revenge for my fallen mate, but it was never the same. I turned a cold heart towards humans, but as time passed I started to weed out the evil humans, leaving the innocent or attacked ones to be free. No innocent being deserves their life to be taken from them. It is just not fair in the slightest." Realizing he had been on rambling, he stopped and searched her eyes for comfort. "I have felt love, something you might call love. I  don't know how accurate my feelings were before, because.. when I look at you, my heart feels like it will bust from my chest and continue to beat on the floor. I feel like when I am with you, nothing matters anymore. I do not have rank, I do not carry a heavy burden upon my shoulders. All that matters to me is making you happy. The first moment I saw you, I knew I liked you.. it only took me until now to know how much that was.."

The sight of his eyes was breathtaking enough, yet he chose to rise them against her own in the sort of wonder as if hers were an act of guidance in the direction from right rather than the wrong. She knew not of what to make of his words the more he spoke deeper into his past, but she felt his scent change, which made her wolf stand still as day when he began to finish. Instead of speaking so quickly back to what he had to confess, Vitani kept smiling and held his strong hand a bit tighter than she did before, "You telling me this so soon proves to me that you are more valuable amongst most. At the night of our.. pondered intimacy, before that when we were with the incompetent rogue, I had said perfectly clear of how much I had heard of you and becoming the Guardian of our pack. And I meant it. My sister herself had told me of your night together, but it sounds more relieving hearing it come from your mouth than not at all. Just you doing that makes me feel you trust me sincerely, not just as the pack's leading doctor or the younger blood of the Alphess... no.. more important than a fuddy little rank and family. Stronger. And with that I must say you are certainly worth any woman's attention, I'm a very lucky girl, I guess." Peering deeply into his hypnotizing ivy green hues, the fae found the glint of happiness within them, which reflected into her own to cause her eyes to glow a shining moon-like color. If she hadn't of known any better, she would have thought that her head had stopped beating and all the air had left her lungs the longer she looked up at him. When finally her wolf decided to break her from her fit of daydreams, her throat cleared once more to speak, the sympathetic smile to twitch at the corner of her lips the warmer she tried to make his hand with a gentle stroke of her thumb against the dip of his index and thumb fingers, "As for your line of most dearest loves, I apologize for the lost of them, and with that, I know strongly of where you come from in falling in love with the mere pain of a human's young soul... I too have lost someone along those lines, and I fear that I won't ever forgive myself for not saving them when I had the chance.." Sighing heavily, Vitani closed her eyes and thought of her friend, the Delta male's advice and genuine words that he was able to calm her with. She could almost sense the feeling of his arms holding her tightly until the tears were swept away and her courage was regained. Using that as a goal, she reopened her eyes to turn them back up to Travis, sad and emptiness shortly to dim the color, but keeping them at best to stay the same as she was still a least joyed to be with him.

"Over a thousand or so years ago I was born in the hands of a single mother, whom was a commoner at the time to our eyes within the pack's job listings. The pack was persuaded to believe that my mother was raped by a loner who had neared too close as she was collecting some things in the fields of our neutrals, only did I find out when I was an adolescent that it was all a lie... The Alpha male, which was Noctavia's father, had grown tired of his mate and Noctavia's mother to be with my biological one for pleasure. When my mother was declared pregnant, he commanded secretly one of our Guardian males to kill his Alphess just so he to be with my mother and raise me under his wing as an adopted offspring.. I was nothing more than a pawn to be played with from the time I could speak all the way to my first shift.." She paused, tightening her grip around his hand as she drew a shaky breath, "And what a stupid little game they tried to play, in addition to that." Vitani spat with a fiery surge of anger, feeling the intensity of her wolf's growl rise the harder it became to contain her emotions from faltering to his presence as she spoke, "At the night of my first shift, a wave of vampires had come to attack our pack, but at the time we were the strongest pack in all of the East Coast. They were defenseless especially when I was under the weak control of my own actions rather than my stronger half's intelligence. I had managed to attack a large amount of the vampires in that time, and when night rang to an end, I ended up awakening in a field of blue and white flowers. As the morning grew longer, my counterpart had confessed to my since it found its way into my mind that I was the biological daughter of the Alpha and his first born, Noctavia. You see, my sister had been born at most five hundred years before I, and after she had broken the underground temple where we kept newly shifters, stories of her exile and kills became something that of a scary legend at the time of when I was a little girl.. So the fact that I had her blood, practically scared me from what I had been told so much of.. Well, of course, I became angry and as a teenager girl, there was only one thing on my mind at the time and that was fear. When I confronted the 'Alpha' of if it were true, he told me it was, but that I was to keep it a secret for the sake of his reputation and mine. I had know clue of what he was talking about until I announced to the pack I had Noctavia's blood run through my veins. In an instant, I was not able to persuade them I was not evil, for they already had their opinions over her and feared that I was to be just like her as future Alphess. They chased me out.. and after that.. I moved house after house trying to find a home until I was old enough to live by myself. I got an education and eventually moved closer to the city at the time of its construction. Buildings weren't as big or even there as they are today." Knowing that she was boring him, Vitani tried to speed up the process with trying to explain her love story as quickly as she could so then the emotions wouldn't start to flow again. The last thing she needed was to start crying before another male like she did with Elay. And she still regrets making him upset.

Biting her bottom lip, she exhaled slowly and leaned her head on his arm, "Last time I considered myself for being in love was a little before when World War II hit America. At the time I had been working as a nurse of war and a soldier of my base was a mortal that liked to get hurt in training frequently so he could see me in the office for repair. I had never told him of what I was, but I fell for him just as easily as it would be for if I were a human too. Sad to say, he had been shot several times during the war while I was rapidly working around the wounded others that kept piling in. I still regret to this day on the fact I could have changed him to be with me forever... but that's gone now.. and I feel I have become a better, stronger individual from what I've survived in this cruel, small world we live on today." She smiled down at her legs and slowly moved her gaze back up to meet his, caressing carefully of the side of his cheek with a soft hand, "But I wouldn't be here, in this moment, if I hadn't of met you that night in Rapture. To whatever told me to go there, whether it be boredom, fate, or even destiny, I have that to hold forever, because this girl you are sitting next to you, feels the exact same as you feel about her right now." Bringing his face closer, she happily planted a gently kiss to his lips, letting it last for more than a few long moments before sitting back in her seat to see what he had to say.

"Vitani, the reason I told you that, well there were a couple reasons. The first being that I want you to know everything about me. I don't want to keep any secrets from you, just as I would wish for you to come to me for anything and everything. If anything ever goes on, that is directly dealing with you, I want to know. And I shall give you the same treatment in return. Though, most of the shit I see is boring or insignificant... But the other reasons are.. well, as much as I care for your sister, I do not adore her as much as I do you. As a Guardian I would give my life to keep Noctavia safe, but as not only my rank, but my feelings for you, I will do anything to keep you from harm's way. The last reason is for the simple fact that, if you did accept me, I would not wish to start our lives together under the false pretenses, or under a lie. I could not live with myself if I was hiding some deep dark secret. I know you mentioned the Alphess and her speaking of me, but one can never be too certain. I thought it would be best for you to hear it from me as well, not just her." He held her hand tight in his own, wishing he could do more for her than he was already. She had a dark past, one that was littered with horrible occurrences, one after the other. Like his life, he had much hurt and pain to bear, but he would not let it get the best of him, just as she was doing. She once loved, a long time ago, as he did. But unlike her, he could not put a date or time around it. While he was alone, time seemed to speed by, but when he was happy, it stood still. His mind tried to grasp at the vanishing memories, keeping them alive deep inside. But like all things, they must come to an end. Travis could feel his past slipping to the darkest regions of his brain. Images and thoughts of Vitani blanketed his thinking space, her scent lined the walls of his mind, and the feel of her skin against his would be forever saved. He could not remember the details of the other girls, only that he once loved them and they once loved him back. It was a sad thought he knew their demise better than anything else about them. As he looked to Vitani, his heart sunk for her. She had been through so much and possibly could not take another heartbreak. Questions attacked his thoughts. What if she doesn't love you? What if she never will love you? What if you love her now? It was then and only then the beast decided to chime in from his meat cage, "Travis, if you dare nothing, then when the day is over, nothing is all you will have gained.."For once in his whole life, the beast finally made sense. Was this a sign that he too liked Vitani and her counterpart, the female savage creature which lived inside of her, just as his did within him? "Vitani Dark, I can feel for the loses and trials you have been through, but I can only promise you this.." Before he could speak anymore, she placed her soft and tender lips to his. The heat of each other thrived between their connection. His heart raced and his wolf howled in rejoice. This was not just a regular every day kiss. This was special. She took a great liking to him, just as he to her. Her words were tender and sweet, oozing through his body like a silky honey. A hand moved from hers and caressed her cheek as he pulled her closer. Intensifying their kiss, Travis knew what he now wanted. He knew what he would want until the end of time. But he believed it too soon to profess his love for her. He would give her more time, more time to love him, to adore him, and to know he was all she wanted. Finally breaking the kiss, his hand stayed upon her cheek, allowing his eyes to gaze deeply into hers. "Vitani, I do not have a lot of money, nor do I own a lot of things under my name. But I will promise you this, swear it to you, if ever you need me, I shall always be here for you. I will always care for you and be your rock if only you need it. I care about you more than I have cared for a lot of things in my life. The only thing I ask for in return is to see you smile, and to be happy. Because a day without seeing your smile, would probably kill me at this point..." he joked as he kissed her cheek. Turning his head to face forward, his eyes looked to the leafy arches, and a smile returned to his lips. He waited for her to turn her head, to see the sight he was waiting for. During the day, he had been rather busy. He first visited a local store selling strung lights at a discount rate, for it being so close to Christmas, who would buy them so late in the season? Travis would. Taking his time, he strung them over the arches, illuminating the area just for her, for them. The horse neighed and trudged on through the snow with little issues. Travis tightened his arm around her shoulders, keeping her close as could be. In this moment, he was truly happy. He wished it would stay this way forever.

Vitani could not bare her eyes to be taken away from such a sight as she was now lost - drowning helplessly into the pools of emerald to what he possessed and the charming smile that sent a portion of herself to another dimension. His lips were soft, and welcoming to the touch, and his eyes; his eyes were the center piece that sent her wolf on a frenzy to find what lies within them. When he spoke, all that came to her was a rush of pure delight. But when he looked at her, it was like no one was home and he had captured her from her body to be taken elsewhere for his own desires. Such things were so hard to explain which confused her and made her feel fuzzy to the mind, but she had not known it were possible to love another once more. Perhaps that is what she felt for him, but was it true? "Money is to never be an issue. We can provide for each other, as long as you let me take care of you and you can do the heavy lifting. If you wish to know the truth, Travis. I have never liked a man as much as I do for you, and with that I promise myself to this day that I will do whatever it takes to show you that I care deeply for you, and only you." Pushing closer into his arms, she removed her hand that was with his to place over his knee in a kind, friendly gesture, keeping her eyes averted towards him before they were taken away to see glowing bulbs above her that hung from the arches of the evergreen tunnels. She made a soft sound in awh, the reflection of each light glistening a light yellow glint in her silvers as the looked at them as they passed on overhead, "Wow... I can't believe you did this all for our first date, though. I.. didn't know I could ever mean that much to a person to make them go through so much trouble.." The thought of it made Vitani's smile start to falter off to the small spark of a frown before forcing it back up once she lifted her gaze towards him, "Thank you, Travis. It means a lot to me.. You have no idea."

A rumble in her chest cause Vitani to fidget slightly and glance to her wolf as to what it wished to say. But for a few moments, it was silence, that is until another growl rolled off its tongue and laced out towards the brute's inner being. Her eyes widened slightly as she knew what it was doing and tried forcing it back, ..What do you think you are doing... Barking back, her wolf snarled, hunching its shoulders to appear threatening as it peered deep into the male at her side's soul with lustful eyes, ...I want to sit on his face... Must you keep me hidden from such a male.. it is torturing me from the inside out... Something must be done to rid such feelings... Vitani bit back a growl to rise in her throat, using her free hand to ball before sending a cold growl to her mind, ..Control yourself... I'm a lady... not an animal like you.. While silencing herself, the remained strong and collected before Travis so that he did not see that she was unsettled slightly. She didn't want him to know of such things. This was a date, nothing should come out of line and break the emotions. But she would not put off the request if he started to pull moves. She would never do that. Especially after their first night, "I have told you all of what there is to tell of myself. Of course there are little things I could add. What I like to do when I'm bored, what color I favor.. But little things like that could make a difference, even said, I am still amazed to hear by how loyal you are to me when coming out with what you have to say. If your words are true, to what I can see and hear, then you have my promise." Holding out her pinkie with a small, crooked smile, she giggled softly before hooking it around his larger one, "I, Ms. Vitani Dark promise on my life to thee, Mr. Travis Manchester and the blood I spill on my hands that I will keep no secrets from you. She gave a challenging smile, gripping slowly of his pinkie while leaning forwards in her seat to provide a gentle, yet another passionate kiss to the soft lips he possessed.

Snow continued to fall from the clouds, falling through the branches and leaves overhead. The small flakes fell on their skin, but melted quickly. The heat from the two bodies blended together, causing a warm aura to appear around them. Travis could not take his eyes off of her. Every single time she spoke, he was alert to her words. He loved the way she cuddled into his side, fitting perfectly with him. It was true, they did not need money. But Travis would want some, to surprise her from time to time, like he was now. The most important thing was to show her time and time again how much he cared for her. It could be in large spontaneous acts, or small and frivolous acts. Whatever the case may be, he always wanted her to know he cared. Money was essential for such things. "Vitani, you are not just the average girl you find in the club. From the moment I saw you, I wanted to be near you. I mean, you are so gorgeous, but I am just your average, run of the mill male. You could be with any man you wished. How else was I to get your attention? I had to pull out all the stops and it's not over just yet." He left the cliff hanger for her, hoping she would enjoy this next part as he was thinking everything in his head. The wolf, however, wished for other things. "Kill this asshole driver, rip her clothes off and fuck her until she begs for you to continue or for you to stop... She seems like the aggressive type.." Travis ignored the wolf, focusing on the proper words he would say to her. How do you say all of it to the girl you love? He said it in his head. Love. But could he say it to Vitani? The wolf continued, "just bend her over and lick that ass... You know you want to.." Travis snarled internally to the beast, trying to stop the brute from speaking such foul things about Vitani. "I don't want this whole relationship to be based on sex. I love her for more things.." "Oh my... Travis.. did you just hear the word you said?" Travis had only realized it once his wolf had mentioned it. He did love her. But he was afraid. He feared if he told her too soon, then she would not wish to be with him. He was worried it would scare her away. As the driver led them down the designated path, they finally came to an opening.

He could not help but to smile at her words. She really liked him. As he felt her gentle lips pressed to his, he pulled her closer to him, lifting her ass to sit peacefully on his lap. His hand coursed over her cheek, making the kiss harder and longer than he had initially intended. As they connected with one another, thoughts of their first night clashed in his mind. The wolf gave a joyous howl, thinking Travis had finally listened to the furred beast. But once the kissing had died down and Travis pulled his lips from her, he turned his eyes to see the gazebo just ahead. Wrapping his arms underneath her, he carried her off the sleigh and towards the lights. Placing her down, he turned to the driver. "You may take your leave now." The driver nodded his head and with a strike of the reigns, they were alone. Travis waited until the sleigh could no longer be seen. He grabbed Vitani's hand, holding it in his own as he walked to the gazebo before them. Once they were under the cover of the gazebo, he looked to her with a smile. His eyes saw how beautiful she was in the lights. They glistened off her smile, her skin and her bright eyes. "Vitani," he said as he turned to face her. He grabbed her other hand, holding both in his. His emerald hues stared into her bright silver orbs, "I was wondering if you would honor me by being my girlfriend?" Travis felt a great weight lifted from his shoulders, while hearing the dark snickers from his companion.

"You're not the typical male either I see waltzing the streets. Not a man in my life has had a romantic side to them and a wilder portion to enjoy. But I must say this, I'd be more than happy to see if there are other undiscovered layers beyond to what I've seen so far, Mr. Manchester. Ha, you already have me on my toes to find out, actually." There was truth into what she said to him, as she expected herself from that point to be all and everything to what honesty could only bring; trust. She knew that there could be lots more to this feeling that she had over the male. Needless to say, the more closer and open he was to her, the deeper the fae found herself trying to dig for his attention. Vitani loved many things about the brute and enjoyed herself quite nicely in the presence of him when he would speak and listen to her. Whether it be the hardships, the faults, or achievements they both claimed, she still saw him as being the most wonderful man alive. He had gone silent before returning her kiss, which worried her a little until he eventually took hold of the situation and lifted her upon his lap, ...He wants you.. you can see it in his eyes, how they shine and ravish your body in one trace... ...And you want him just as badly... A cackle rolled over through her mind to what sounded to be her wolf hollering to keep the actions going, sending its power to pulse and course throughout her body so that she couldn't hardly fight back her own self. She wanted him, more than anything, but that was to be stopped soon enough for there was a mortal still before them. Finally when he had begun to pull away, the sleigh had quit moving, making a soft budge push her weight forwards in his lap so she held on to his shoulders. She had not been in Finaqua before, not at all actually. Everything about the place was completely foreign and unknown, much like a maze even. Where were they?

Her eyes fell over the gazebo that stood brightly before them, allowing him to guide her to the center while she aimlessly payed attention to him for once, "Wow.." She whispered, looking over her head at all the lights that shown and glistened into her moon-like orbs. A wide smile molded her lips across her face, peeking down at him as she broke from her reverie to hear the sound of her name fall so charmingly from his lips. As she listened, Vitani couldn't keep herself from grinning anymore - the pinch of her cheeks making it hurt, but never to complain as she was not too excited to focus. Nodding quickly, she looked deeply into his eyes, "Of course, Travis. I would be more than happy to be your girlfriend." She said in a soft laugh, trying to tame her inner self as it lifted its muzzle to release a jubilant howl to the heavens. In a wolf-like sense, Vitani let as so far as her wolf to peek towards the male's mind carefully, lowering her muzzle to lay at the side of his wolf's face while her tail wagged happily. Being overly filled with happiness above all, she couldn't keep herself from being thrown at him, wrapping her arms around him tightly and nuzzling her face close to the nap of his neck, sending her affection in small mindless things that felt right to do. She wanted to hug him, share her love for him and all that she could think of when the image of his smile came to her mind. There were other things too that they could enjoy, but that wasn't meant to be spoken too aloud, but their wolves to be greeted with when the time came and felt most needed. Desperately loosening her embrace around him, she let her hands take his into her own and looked up at him with a sweet smile, "Well.. uh, hah.. The night is still young.. what do you wanna do? We could.. um.. ask each other questions, or maybe walk around and get lost.." She shrugged, laughing awkwardly as a light shade of blush rose to her cheeks. It had been ages since she had a committed relationship, let alone a man who didn't look at her like a piece of meat to rip apart all the time. Travis was sweet, which was rare to her, something she really liked most about him in fact. But she didn't know the little things, a little goes a long way, right? ...You could take him back to your room and show him how naughty we can be... or go to the game room and get him to fuck us senselessly over the pool table.. ..the options are endless... Her wolf's choices were not helping, which made her growl softly under her breath and glare to her inner self to stop at this instance. But her wolf insisted, forming images to flash in her mind and made her have a headache, shaking her head slowly to rid them to focus more on Travis for a leeway to reality.

"Well, my beautiful girlfriend," he said with a smile as his hand gently grazed her cheek. "We could give each other all the questions in the whole world. We could talk for a hundred years and more to come. I would never grow old of your voice. I would never grow tired of what you could tell me. You could tell me the same story a million different ways and I shall listen to it as if it were the first time hearing it." The wolf snarled within him, wishing to come out of his flesh trap. "Travis, my boy, please let me know her as well. There are many ways I would like to.. you know.." But the boy ignored his wolf, for the time being. He looked up to the sky, the snow was still coming from the clouds, falling to the gentle ground and leaves which draped over the branches. The moon could be seen clearly from the gazebo they stood beneath. The lights flickered and the chill of night was coming faster than he had thought. Before long the snow would be falling thicker than it was now. The cold would come like a demon and a nasty wind to brush through their clothes. "Vitani, as it appears we no longer have a ride, we shall have to use other means of transportation. What would you say to a run through this crazy maze? Perhaps even a race? Winner gets a special treat.." The wolf howled victoriously within him, itching to come out. As he quickly shifted form from human to beast, his emerald gaze stayed the same. His height grew to an extreme height, one much taller than a human, and his coat was full and thick. It was ready for the winter, for their time together. By nature the wolf loved a good run and play in the snow. He loved the company of women, especially the young Doctor. she sent his heart into a tizzy, frazzled his brain and forced him to smile often. Though dark thoughts traced him every second he smelled her scent or remembered that night they shared with one another. "After you milady, I shall give you a three second head start," he said with a wolfy grin.

With her call, Travis stood on four long and powerful legs. His green gaze stared to her, watching as she rushed for the tunnels encased in leaves and vines. "One thousand one... One thousand two... One thousand three!" He released a howl from his soft lips, alerting her the chase had begun. Travis pushed off his hind legs, forcing his body to bolt forward. His eyes looked left and right as he began to near her. She seemed to be enjoying herself, slowing down and speeding up once he got close. It only pushed the Guardian harder than before. His paws crushed the fallen snow to the floor, smashing and melting some as he raced her. He knew the area quite well, had been getting everything set up perfectly for this night. Thus far he could not complain. She was everything he wanted, answered his question the way he liked and even seemed overjoyed for it. Travis rushed over the tracks, careful not to trip or stub any paws along the hidden path. Breathing heavily, his chest rose and fell. His eyes moved to the surrounding area once she had slipped from his sight. She must have known another way to the hotel, but Travis knew a short cut. Chuckling to himself, he raced on. The snow and wind cut through his coat, trying to freeze him completely. But he was much tougher than the weather, he could withstand extreme heat and dangerous cold. It was only when a worried howl reached his ears, did the male stop dead in his tracks. Her call worried him more than anything he had ever seen or heard before. Turning around immediately, he followed her scent through the maze of living plants. He returned a howl letting her know he was coming and would be there momentarily.

As he neared her position, her sweet scent flushed over his nostrils, taking in her smell and finally calming the Guardian down. Noctavia would never forgive him if something were to happen to her under his protection. But as he gazed to the fae, he could see her worry. The lake ahead was frozen, the ice looked thin on top. Any great weight could cause it to break, forcing everything to fall into the chilled depths. Travis had heard stories of people dying from hypothermia, sinking to the bottom of a chilled body of water and not being able to swim to surface. Looking to her frame, pressed tight against a tree, he moved to her swiftly. His green eyes looked to her silver orbs, trying to calm her with only a look. He was here. Her boyfriend was here to help. Moving to her, he laid against her body. The heat from his emanated to her, covering her in warmth and protection from the wind and snow. He rested his large head over her back, licking her ears tenderly. "Vitani, I know this place somewhat well. We can go back to the hotel, maybe get a cup of hot cocoa and sit beside the roaring fire. Or we can stay here if you like. If you wish to go back, I can lead us in a quick and timely manner. The choice is yours, beautiful." Travis had not known if she enjoyed being in the cold or just being outside in general. He wanted her to be happy and whatever made her that way, he was fine with it. As he nuzzled as close as could be, he licked her ear once more and rested his eyes. His ears alert and waiting for her sweet voice to sooth his frazzled mind.
