Name: Réaltán Dahling
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Rank: Warrior
Summary: Youngest sibling of the current generation of the Dahling family, Réaltán has always been second best or in the shadows of his two older siblings and, despite what seems popular, he has always been okay with that. Though, if one were to ask any member, either nuclear or extended, of the Dahling family, they would immediately identify him as the black sheep of the family. Slightly outside of what the finely bred family considers normal, Réaltán was the only member recorded to actually consider joining a circus. He did not, due to a rather sudden interest in Criminal and Abnormal Psychology, which he decided to stay in school and earn a Master’s degree in the age of 18.
This feat, while normally considered extremely impressive, seemed to Réaltán as simply a matter of course. The true marvel, from the young man’s opinion, was his own emotions. While he could frequently and easily read other people’s emotions like an open book, understanding his own feelings seemed to be completely beyond him. The INTJ’s problems with this only intensified on the night of his fifteenth birthday, when he first shifted. As the son of a pureblooded family, he knew exactly what he was in for and, thanks to his fairly stoic personality, managed to weather the tumultuous event with relative ease. That is not to say that it was easy, on the contrary, Réaltán tells those who ask that it was easily the worst night of his life so far. However, after his change, now with another whole entity coexisting with him, his emotions became even more of a mystery to him. He was able to read and comprehend other’s emotions on an entirely new level, due to his newly heightened senses, and often could smell people’s emotions, a trick which quite a few of the other shifters that he has spoken to have yet to pick up on.
Typically viewed as somewhat aloof, and even cold, Réaltán demands practical and calculating logic from himself and occasionally becomes frustrated with others when they fail to see what to him is plainly obvious or when others completely eschew logical thought and problem solving to dedicate themselves to a more emotional approach. While his other half has learned to accept this often odd and strictly self-regulatory way of thinking, internal arguments between man and wolf are not entirely uncommon. In fact, conversation between the two is often quite vivid and engaging, which, added to the mad cacophony of freely associating ideas, thoughts, and often voices that Réaltán has sometimes described in his head occasionally leads to him “checking out” of reality and his surroundings for periods of time to varying degrees of severity. Despite all of that, if one can manage to get past all of the apparent oddities and sometimes seeming coldness, one will find a loyal and dedicated friend.

Example Post: Brown eyes narrowed in concentration and black haired head cocked to the side slightly to the left. The slightest tremor ran down his arm due to his efforts to keep still, but Réaltán quickly subdued his muscles and placed the final card on the top of the tower that he had constructed. Standing approximately three feet tall, the tower was a rather impressive accomplishment. Sitting back, he peered at his work of the last few hours, satisfied in his spent time. A knock sounded at his door and, as so stereotypically happens, the vibrations from the pounding jarred the stack of cards and brought them tumbling down onto the table. More than slightly annoyed, Réaltán glanced up at the clock sitting beside desk. He still had two hours.
As he set about cleaning up the cards, his sister, Alannah, stuck her head into his room. “Hey, you all packed yet?” she asked. Réaltán turned to look at her over his shoulder. “Yes, Ally, for the third time, yes, I am more than ready to leave. I have been waiting for this chance ever since he came back.” Alannah grinned, a predatory light flashing in her eyes. “That’s my little brother,” she said. As she ducked back out of the room, Réaltán drummed his fingers against the table top. He already knew exactly where he was headed at the end of his flight to America and he knew exactly who he needed to talk to. The resources of his family were quite extensive and, if one knew how to utilize them, the answer to virtually any question could be found. The man he needed was Gabriel Braveheart.
