Their eyes shine in the moon’s light as they fight. Their movements are fluid, smooth, and predatory. Lean, taunt muscles lay beneath different colors of fur and sharp incisors are visible beneath black gums. Blood spatters over their beautiful coats and color the ground red as they snap, tear, and wound each other.

Fur standing on end, you approach the two groups as they pause and separate as they take notice of your presence. Two pairs of eyes stand out to you and unnerve you. Both seemed to draw the respect out of you without your consent as you lower your head and tuck your tail between your legs. Power radiated from them both, and you’re unsure whether it was the large, dark grey male with golden eyes, or the black female with bright green eyes that had the strongest air to them. They both stood across from each other, and large groups of other wolves and Werelings in human forms stand on each side behind them. All of their eyes bore into you and you stop as you stand before the two obvious leaders.

Your muscles tense and they begin to shake as your wolf side slowly draws you towards one side, your true nature, good or evil, slowly reveals itself as you make your decision. Which side will you choose? Will you choose the path of light and good? Or the path of dark and evil?

Elite Melissa

Elite Melissa

Melissa nodded, glad to hear that the wolf understood and even agreed about continueing forward on human feet. So far Kaiko hadn't made any trouble for Melissa, and she had instantly taken a liking to Kaiko. She would hope that Gabriel would feel the same way about Kaiko. Melissa could see them being close friends in the near future if things worked out well.

~Approaching the Cabin~

"Welcome to the Braveheart Cabin. It's fully equipped with a large main area, an fully stocked kitchen, numerous bedroom styles, ginormous library, weight room, and even a pool that pairs with an eating area slash bar. Personally, I call it a lodge. It seems to big to be called a cabin." Melissa turned around to smile at Kaiko, continueing to walk backwards towards the house. "Anything you need, name it and we got it. But I can give you a tour later if you like, right now we should head to Alpha Gabriel's office. It's up on the second floor somewhere." Melissa wasn't exactly sure where his office was, she'd never been in it. But her laugh indicated that it wouldn't be too hard. Melissa was a really fun and easy going person, sometimes a little too care free.

"Here we go, after you!" Melissa pulled aside the sliding glass room that would let them enter into the living room. A couple other werelings sat about, some resting, some chatting. A couple looked up and greeted them both with easy smiles while others acted as if they weren't there. There was a variety of personalities in the braveheart household, some friendly and some slightly hostile. It wasn't to hard to figure out who was which.

The pleasant smell of fresh lasagna wafted in from the hallway that led to the kitchen. Mel could also smell breadsticks and an assortment of fruits. "Supper is one of the best things about this place." Mel smiled as she turned away from the hallway, leading them up the staircase. Looking back at Kaiko she heard the faint sound of her stomach growling. "Don't worry," Melissa said with an easy grin. "There's always plenty of left overs, We'll get our fair share." After you meet the Alpha. She added silently to herself. Perhaps Kaiko would also like to take a shower and put on a fresh outfit before going down to dinner, it was all up to Kaiko in the end. So much freedom Melissa thought, smiling as she walked down a spacious hallway.

Their walk was quiet and Mel guessed it was probably because of Kaiko's nerves. No doubt she would be nervous for meeting the Alpha, she should be. Mel certainly was in the beginning, but she grew used to him and found him to be pleasant company. Coming to a stop at the end of a hallway Mel turned around to give Kaiko a reasurring smile before raising her knuckles to knock on the giant oak door. Gabriel would know who it was, he always seemed to know. "Dip your head when introduced and speak only when spoken to and things will go smoothly." Mel said quietly, staring at the door. "Handle it just as you did when you saw me in the woods, and everything will be fine. You can trust me." Mel's now blue orbs flickered to Kaiko, a small smile flashed her way before a voice from within told them to enter.

[[Post what you feel as you are lead through the house, then leave it off just as I did so that Gabriel can post what he wants. Don't worry about matching my length, sometimes i can get carried away.]]

She stared up at the cabin in silent surprise. Was this a cabin or a hotel built in the woods disguested as a cabin. The thing seemed impossibly massive to her. She couldn't imagine anyone finding their way around in there without at least a few maps posted on some of the wall to tell them where you were. Saying nothing she slowly followed Melissa through the door.

Her friendly tone seeming to be the only thing that helped to keep her nervous from skyrocketing. She dipped her head to the friendly wereling lounging about. Ignoring the hostile looks some of the others gave her. A pack was a pack and hostility was something she was use to, and had expected from the start. It was hostility from the alpha that had her concerned.

She nodded when Melissa told her that there was always something left over. If anything it made her more self conscious letting these other werelings hear her stomach growl then it did to let Melissa hear it.
Kaiko faintly smiled as Melissa stopped at a door telling her what to do "okay I got it." As she knocked on the door a tense moment seemed to pass before a voice sounded slightly muffled through the door. Kaiko straightened up her slouching posture. It was now or never.

Gabriel's Ghost

The room was silent and had an old and rustic feel to it. The sliding doors that served to allow light into the room were open, revealing a balcony with a table and two chairs that Gabriel used on more pleasant days to speak with members. Today wasn't too hot, nor was it too cold, making it feel delicious. Standing on the balcony was a tall man that stood six feet twelve inches with chocolate brown hair and bright golden eyes. His skin was tan from many days spent outdoors and hard labor in his child hood. Strong muscles rested beneath his skin and white scars were visible where clothing didn't lay. He wore a black muscle shirt that showed off his muscles perfectly and worn comfort wrangler jeans and he wore no shoes. His arms were rested against the railing and the wind ruffled his hair that needed cut again. No matter how many times Gabriel went out to get his hair cut, it always seemed to grow faster then weeds. He was giving up on it for now, not that he had any lack of money, quite the opposite actually. Lately Gabriel had been writing books, romance paranormal books that had nothing to do with the real paranormal he knew about. He used a pen name though, being smart enough not to give out his real name.

Sighing Gabriel looked out over his land, feeling pride and love for the Werelings he could see busting about below. His eyes immediately zeroed in on one as she moved through to the front door in something of a hurry with a Wereling he didn't recognize. Frowning, Gabriel thought about going down to see what Melissa was doing, but knew that if she'd brought a new member she'd be up here soon enough. He could smell tonight's lasagna wafting from the kitchen and his stomach growled. He smiled the scent reminding him of his date tonight with his new Elite Female. Not that he'd forgotten it. Far from it, actually he couldn't stop thinking about it, or her. He was terrified that one little female had so much power over him, seriously, he'd promised her anything within his own power. He wondered, if she ever thought about it, what she'd ask for.

His Alpha Senses picked up the feel of Melissa moving closer and his heart picked up pace. He didn't show it though, keeping a clam and business like expression on his face. Hearing the voices outside his door he smiled at his Elites words. Moving to the door he smiled and gave a silent chuckle. "You forgot about not looking an Alpha in the eyes." His voice was teasing, but their was a dominant air about him that demanded respect. Power radiated from him, warming the room and was usually enough to send a wolf to their knees. The Werelings here had gotten used to it though, but the newer ones usually had trouble not cowering in submission when he moved by. Wrapping one of his large hands around the door's handle he opened the double doors and stood before the two. His eyes passed over the new wolf and immediately to Melissa. He struggled to hold back his smile and forced his eyes back onto the new wolf before stepping back as his Alpha senses took in her personality. He kept out of her head though, not wishing to do so unless duty demanded it of him. Pirate growled quietly in his mind, studying the new wolf closely, but was clam in the presence of the female that Gabriel liked, but was too stubborn to admit it to himself.

Warrior Kaiko

She felt a slight chill course through her. The deep honeyed voice sounding through the door. As it opened an impressive male leaned confidently in the doorway. She felt his gaze pass over her then switched to Melissa then back to her. Fighting back an uncomfortable growl she dipped her head in both greeting and recognition of his authority in the pack.

Kaiko was careful to keep her gaze trained on the male's lips and not his eyes. She had learned long ago that you could tell a lot about what a person was thinking about or about to say. Just by watching the curve of their mouths or the plains of their faces.
"Oh my he's cute, and strong, look at those scars I bet he could toss a bull elk a good ten meters," Arzevic Xiro growled sounding interested. Kaiko narrowed her eyes slightly unable to keep from eyeing him.

She couldn't help but agree. Yet she silently demanded that her wolf hold her tongue. The last thing she needed right now was the voice in her head causing her to say something foolish and either get her in trouble or make her look like an idiot. Last time that had happened she had gotten into a fight and earned the scar on her shoulder that traced down her right side and to the small of her back. Though it had been deep and serious it had healed quickly.

It was only a week or so old and it was already healed, strange how being a wereling made things in life so different, Kaiko thought. She faintly scowled at herself. Her hunger was making her brain wonder around weird alleyways again. She needed to stay focused. Forcing her attention back she hoped that Melissa knew what she was doing.

A grin hinted at Melissa's lips as Gabriel teased her from the otherside of the door. My mistake, She thought to herself, wondering if Gabriel had heard. She thought about making some comment about how he didn't seem to mind when she'd looked straight at him at the falls, but kept quiet. This was about Kaiko, she had to remain in buisness mode. She could relax later, alongside her Alpha when they made their way to the Griffen later in the afternoon.

She kept a light and easy smile on her face as Gabriel opened the door, looking the two of them up and down. She smirked for a quick second as his gaze seemed to focus on her, his jaw clenching as if trying to hold back a smile. Was he always this serious when new members were around? Or maybe he only let up when he was one on one. Perhaps she should leave the two alone while Gabriel interviewed her, if she could call it that. She'd love to stick around and learn more about Kaiko herself, but would do only as her Alpha wished.

"Alpha Gabriel," Melissa paused her greeting, taking the moment to dip her head. Once she raised her head, she reached a hand up to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she introduced the two. "...this is Kaiko, a fellow wereling. Mila spotted her during our morning run. I took it upon myself to escort her here so that you may meet her." She's rather intriguing. We spoke briefly about her becoming a resident... Melissa finished the last part in her thoughts, sending them so that only Gabriel could over hear them.

Her crystal eyes were now a sea green type of color. They were ever changing, thanks to Melissa being graced with Hazel eyes. They never quite decided what color they wanted to be. "I can wait downstairs Sir, if you'd rather this meeting be more private." Mel swallowed rather thickly. She didn't want to go, she wanted to stay close to Kaiko just incase she got frightened again, like she had in the woods. But at the same time she thought it may be rather awkward if she stayed here, watching quietly as the two conversed about Kaiko and her wishes.

She stayed quiet keeping a careful eye on the alpha. Kaiko glanced at Melissa curiously when she mentioned her wolf. So it had been her wolf that had spotted her first. It came as little surprise to her and she was grateful for her approaching her in her human form. Kaiko took a slow calming breath forcing herself to relax.

The muscle in her right shoulder seemed to refuse to relax. As it did she heard a few of the werelings downstairs clowning around. Hoping that if all went well she too could do the same and finally be able to relax a little. Kaiko shifted slightly as Melissa offered to wait downstairs. Though she knew it would seem a little awkward for Melissa to stay around.

There was a part of her that wished she would. Oh wolf up you can't rely on everyone to fight your battles for you, you're strong enough to take care of yourself, Kaiko thought harshly. When was she finally going to be able to put the fear of that night behind her? Even though she had been fighting for herself for quite some time there was a part in her mind that seemed to refuse to let go, let her forget the fear, and move on. The only thing she could do for now was stay on the topic and hope she didn't make the alpha feel she was a threat to him or his family.
